I knew things were more expensive in New York, but jimminey cricket..a $50,000.00 bed? It better be hand spun gold, hand made and a 100% money back guarantee with my hubby already in it, before I would spend that much on anything to sleep on. I have slept on some wonderful (and not so wonderful) beds. They didnt cost anywhere near that much. In fact, I bough a whole house of furniture and it didnt cost half that amount. Call me, I will save you big bucks..and I will include shipping..Heck for 50,000 I will even throw in a disposable car..HAHAHA.
Would you spend $50000.00 on a bed? $5,000.00 $1500.00 What is a mattress and box springs worth to you? Is there anything more important than a good night's sleep? Is it worth this much?

LOL...no! I don't think I could ever spend that much on a bed. Everyone needs a good night sleep....but if I spent that much on a bed, I would be scared to sleep in it. Wouldn't want to mess it up...hahaha.

HAHAHAHAA I set myself up for that!
No accessories, just the mattress, box, and rails. That's all folks..
They did not say what materials they are made of.
They did say it was made, for the absurdly wealthy. Does that mean my mattress is "made for the absurdly poor?". What materials determine this much stretch of a products' price?

I thought I spent 2 much on what we've got!

When my hubby & I decided to go from a FULL to a KING, the highest price we saw was like $4,000. Ours cost half that. I tried that expensive one but it couldn't compare to the one we bought. I was shocked that our mattress & box spring cost as much as the bedroom suit! Matter of fact, when we saw how much the mattress & box-springs were going to cost, I tried to back out of our purchase. Hubby convinced me that, "This is just what these things cost."

I'm not spending more for a mattress than I did my car! Shoot, that is 1/3 of what we paid for our HOUSE!

I would, if I could afford to live life like Hugh Heffner.

I think I'll tell everyone that I have one, and start renting it out ! For a couple of grand a week I'll sleep on the floor.

HAHAHAHA. My thoughts exactly. Gosh you could go to New Orleans and rebuild someone a house.
I wouldn't pay the 4000.00 cost either, I have a king that sleeps great, but only cost about 1100.00. I have gripped about, that for 10 years. I guess it was worth it, for it to have lasted this long..but 50000.00? I am still shaking my head..That is a person with no conscious, sense, or just too much money. It is just wasteful. I still couldn't, even if I had more money than I could spend.

My wife said that she is getting junk e-mail, about renting purses. I guess it's been a while since I bought her one, but I didn't think they were 'that' high.
Perhaps they make fifty thousand dollar purses, to go with your bed ?????????/

Working wife, like to read, gain knowledge and listen to 4news weather and sports. I think the crew at 4 does a great job, to keep me informed, of the local information I need. Thanks for letting me blog it as I see it. I try to keep an open mind. This is the Llano Bald Eagles nest. It is as big as a bail of hay. Just like this large empty nest, I am enjoying my empty nest. I too circle my prey, but, waiting to feed my need for "intellegent input",not rodents..
