When I was in highschool I thought my parents would be excited to see this shirt I had bought with my paycheck from my first job. The sleeves were billowy and it looked just like the flag. I was proud to have bought it and rushed in the door and to my room to put it on. I came out and boldly pranced in front of my Mother and Father to show it off. I did not get the response I thought I would. Needless to say the shirt was returned with my Father intow. He scolded the shop owner as well as taught me what the flag is for and not for. How to respect the flag and how not to.
To this day, I where a ton of red/white and blu to show my patriotism, but nothing that would look like I destroyed a flag to where it.
I'm appalled at the cases you sited above, just one more sign.....

Wisdom of the ages says a picture is worth a thousand words. Thus, the photograph selected for my avatar says everything that needs be said about massive immigration, and particularly illegal immigration, into the United States. This blog will be dedicated to announcing news items, events and battles being fought by Americans against illegal alien invasion around the country and with a special focus on DFW and Texas.
