Wouldn't you like to ride in my beautiful balloon? Well, actually not mine personally...but this weekend I want to invite you  to the EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival where you can take a hot air balloon ride or simply enjoy some 75 balloons in a wide variety of shapes and colors soar!

Five balloon launches will occur during the festival:

• Friday at 6 p.m.

   

• Saturday at 7 a.m.

   

• Saturday at 6 p.m.

   

• Sunday at 7 a.m.

   

• Sunday at 6 p.m.

   

And if flying sky high isn't your thing, join the expected 70,000 other festivalgoers who flock to the event every year, drawn by the food and other types of fun for the whole family. including  musical performances, fireworks, arts and crafts and balloons. And don't forget to stop by the FOX 4/MY 27 booth to play games and have your photo taken for our website.

This is the 28th year of the festival. And it's also a fundraiser for Collin County non-profit groups. Once again too FOX 4 and MY27 are proud sponsors of the event.

The EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival starts tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 21 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 23.
