Lemme see if I got this straight.
Englishwoman comes to the Sudan to teach their children. One of the kids has a Teddy bear and wants to name it. The kid's name is Muhammed so naturally he wants to name his bear after himself. Don't all males want their loved ones named after them?
So teacher says ok and the bear becomes Muhammed. Sweet.
Then a wild-eyed fanatic masquerading as a Muslim hears about it and says, "AHA!!!" And has the perfect excuse to go off the deep end. Which, when you're from the shallow end of the gene pool, probably looks like a good place to go.
He goes shrieking off to the authorities about this horrible insult to the prophet.
Now enter the authorities; who have a problem. A) They would dearly love to loosen every possible hold the Brits have over their people. B) They would dearly love to find a way to keep the civilized world OUT of their business, viz and to whit, the systematic genocide of the people of Darfur.
Lo and behold. Here comes "concerned citizen". And voila! Their dream can come true. Both birds killed with the same English teacher stone.
Aren't they lucky? Do you think they're on their faces, facing Mecca and thanking Allah for this golden opportunity?
I hope they're still there when they realize that they've just sunk themselves without a prayer as far as the rest of the world (except of course Osama and his murderous pals) is concerned.
Oh to be a fly on the wall when their next need comes down the pike. And they realize that the west, those hated infidels, are the only thing standing between them and total desolation and we decide to sit back and watch them go down the toilet. Which will, no doubt, be their finest hour!
