Mormons Losing Members Over Anti-Gay Campaigns

While the Mormon Church hierarchy  was responsible for organizing millions of dollars and thousands of hours of manpower to pass California's Proposition 8 and Arizona's Prop 102, the church's tactics haven't sat so well with some of its members--including families, members with Mormon heritage going back 150 years, and gay members---who began speaking out in July on the website signingforsomething.org. 

Many have publicly resigned from the church, citing reasons like these:

*I think the church has no right to assume the inner thinkings of its members and take such an open stand of any political issue.

*The Church's involvement in the effort to rescind a basic Constitutional right from California citizens is shameful and misguided.

*The position the church took on this particular issue went against everything I learned from the church. Not only was the church's position discriminatory, but it was also hateful. 

*The leadership fights for bigotry and hate. The God I grew up with was perfect in His Love and Justice. Shame on the men who act so disgracefully in His name.

dink there is always another side of the story the hypocrites want to hide and deny.

The God I worship is not filled with the kind of hate and intolerance that some of these idiots spew.

When I see one of these nutjobs misqouting the bible and misapplying the word of God it further shows their colossal ignorance.

Seeing all your posts of the past, the copy and paste from move on, the made up rules you live by, the filth that flows from you keyboard, and the lack of back bone you have shown as well as the ALL TIME weakest come back lines in the world....its evident that you know a GREAT DEAL ABOUT IGNORANCE...The god you worship can be found on a wrapper in most novelty shops and book stores for the twisted and deranged.

Puton has a different God than us Banjo... His God is angry and okays his followers to use rage and cursing and hate. Gee if you don't agree with his views.... he sure gets ugly. And what does it even matter if anyone copies and pastes? He is obsessed with he gay community...kinda weird if ya ask me

obsessed with the HOMOSEXUAL community...hmmmm, lets see, its DIRTY, for starters, it IMMORAL, to follow and OH YEA...MY GOD IS ANGRY but more mournful than anything to see what He created be turned over to Lucifer, Beelzubub, Satan, or how ever you choose to refer to him. Gay is a PC term and has nothing to do with being homosexual...in fact if you look at your co-horts in CA...they are a contradiction to the word itself...Its an UGLY subject, and when your ilk gets told NO ! why....who is getting UGLY now? You see, your jaded points of view, and twisted beliefs are just that....twisted...You may believe in God, but it is evident you have NO RESPECT or loyalty to HIM....He ABHORES your choices of life style, and will not know you on the day of judgement...BB...your just a waste of space looking for any attention you can find. I used to know how bad it sucks being in the ghetto...but I got my a$$ to work and got out....pathetic LIENG little sap.

"up your butt Jo-Boo" is a line from the movie "Major League".....

It was in reference to one of the players being upset about another players use of voo-doo worship in the teams locker room........

Jo-Boo was some sort of "God" or something....supposed to help him hit a curve ball.....

why am I telling you guys this?..........not sure....boredom?.........maybe...

totally unrelated to the blog.........I know...
