Dad gives up son's name for $100 in gas

ORLANDO, Fla. (UPI) -- A Florida man says he will name his son after a morning radio team in exchange for $100 worth of gasoline.

David Partin cut the deal with hosts Richard Dixon and J. Willoughby, who were offering $100 in gas for the most creative swap, WKMG-TV, Orlando, Fla., reported.

The hosts plan to be on hand when the baby is born next winter to ensure his name is Dixon and Willoughby Partin, WKMG said.

Partin will get his gas card as soon as the birth certificate is signed.

Well, it actually costs me around $80 per tank but I figured others may not be driving a V-8 pickup truck!! So, yeah, even worse, one tank and a Slurpee!!

You know the mother is the one who has the official authority to name the kid in the hospital...Maybe mom has common sense and won't go along with it.

It just seems ridiculous to me to officially do something like this for a tank of gas that is going to effect this boy for the rest of his life. Kinda shows you what kind of parent this man is going to be. His son isn't even born yet and he has a parent who is already an idiot.
