Hey Dallas.  With mandatory evacuations taking place today, why don't we go out of our way to be courteous drivers to help the people out who may not be familiar with our area.

My Mom and Dad are driving 320 miles to get away from Gustav and have not been in this area for about 11 years. 

Think of the people who are having to leave everything they have behind just to get to safety.

Shouldn't Dallas be extra tolerant of other drivers in the area who may not be familiar with their surroundings?

bella how do we know if they are unfamilar or just dumbasses trying to make it around the city? maybe a sign in the window? lol

Anybody ever thought about being thoughtful at all times instead of thoughtless.And if someone does something thoughtless to you just whisper DUMBASS under your breath and drive on.

In the early 60's the best drivers were in California, Arizona, and New Mexico I left Texas 50 times a year would cross the border on Tuesday morning, enjoy my run until friday morning cross the border and start yelling dumbass.

I wonder. Do not know that going from a Hurricane hungry area that they are coming into a Tornado alley area. So which is worse Hurricane or a F1-F5 Tornado

Just tell them not to hit their brakes and come to a stop on the highway to read a map or backup because they missed their exit.

I let the dumbassssssses in front of me, so I can keep a better eye on their lack of driving skills.

Depends on if it is your property that was destroyed or not.

It has taken them 5 1/5 hours to get 130 miles. Does that suck or what.

And NO that is not from Louisiana.

Ft. Polk, Louisiana is a six hour drive to Dallas, Texas. I was station two tours of duty. I would drive home here in Irving, Texas every weekend to visit my parents.

I would like to request ALL of you to DELETE NK from all of your blogs. I say this because on another blog some time ago there was nothing but ignorant racist bloggers spouting their drivle. I do not want to see this happen here.

Yeah it is normally a little over 5 hours to get to their house from here.

I told Dad they were coming during tourist season cause it was taking so long. He wanted to know when that was. I said "hurricane season". They are just now getting to Huntsville.
