Right wing fundamentalist Republicans suceeded yesterday to kill the immigration bill. Why did it happen??
1) Right wing Republicans were pandering to their base. I hope they have not forgotten what happened during last Senatorial election in AZ and many other states. We have the list of right wingers who voted against the bill. We will see next time around.
2) Talk radio spewing hate and extreme nationalistic feeling within the right wing groups. As we all know majority of right wingers cannot think for themselves, they are brain washed by these drug addicted talkers like Rush Limbaugh, Hannity and others. Don't these people know that for talk radio to work they have to take extreme positions and play with your fear?
3) They have no alternative to immigration problem. Alternative to them is status quo, which is clearly not working. Borders will still be open, immigrants will still come in droves. The bill atleast had some form of border security. Don't gloat right wingers, its not really a win for you.
4) Fear, Fear, Fear. Fear of politicians that Hispanics would vote Democratic. Fear of nationalist that they now would be minority and have to adjust.
5) Radical right wing of Republican party has a growing number of racists, as we all know, their whole ideology dances on a string of thread when it comes to racial and minority issues. This group of radical fundamentalist, facists are dangerous to you, me and American way of life. Next time you see one, better get your S&W out to protect yourself! Hell, even their leaders are acting violent, saw what happened in AL congress?
6) Radical right wingers hate and philosophy are not driven by reasoning, its driven by fear and extremism. They don't understand the economics of the immigration issue, nor the social impact of the immigration issue. These are some cruel, hateful bunch...WATCH OUT FOR THEM.
Note: No comments accepted from right wingers. Please go to "C"s (c word) blog to spew your hate.

The comprehensive immigration bill S1348 suffered a set back today at the Senate. Majority leader Harry Reid will give one more chance for procedural vote. I know Right Wing fundamentalists are happy they succeeded. However, they don't know the fact that this is not really a win for them. Given the current bill with bunch of RIGHT WING BS amendments, i would be against it as well. What makes me sad is that the borders would still be laxed. Right wingers don't understand STATUS QUO is not working. Given the current state, immigrants are happy: they are coming in, working, using schools, healthcare etc etc. And for right wingers surprize, this will go on. Waaah, Waaah!!
On another note, couple of weeks back, i argued that the right wingers are against the bill because of the racial bias. I pointed out correctly differences in our Northern and Southern border, how easy it is to get in from Canada than Mexico, due to blonde haired, blue eyed people coming in from Canada vs brown eyes, black haired people coming from Mexico. You know over the weekend, guy named Andrew Speaker, armed with drug resistant TB openly drove from Canada to the US, despite international effort to sequester him. Border patrol look at his passport, checked everything (apparently) and let him in. You know why??? Simple...The guy was coming in from Canada, White, blue eyes, brownish hair....We don't even STOP people on our "suspected" list when they come from Canada, do you think we will stop otherwise???
Note: No comments please, just read, absorb and move on!

Before the debate started between the right wingers Presidential hopefuls, Wolf Blitzer from CNN told each to give one line introduction of themselves. This is what they said:
I am Mitt Romney and i flip-flopped on abortion, immigration, and many other issues. I wanna be President so bad, i will change my views on any issue just to get elected.
I am Rudy Juliani and i will scare you people so bad mentioning terror on every sentence, you will crap your pants and vote for me. And did i tell you i dress up as a drag at times and beat up my wife?
I am John McCain and i support the war on Iraq even though 80% of you Americans don't. Besides this issue, don't you know, i am really a liberal?
I am Tom Tancredo and i really, really hate Mexican Immigrants. Besides this, i don't have any clue on other issues facing America.
I am Duncan Hunter and i hate Mexican Immigrants more than Tancredo. Don't you know i am against NAFTA and free trade in general?
I am Mike Huckabee and I pardoned a rapist who went on to MO and killed an innocent person. If elected i will pardon everyone of the GWB corrupt individuals if they get indicted.
I am Tommy Thompson and even though i was in politics for years, i have no real credentials and achievements i can cite here.
I am Sam Brownback and i believe that the sperm and egg that you all are carrying is a baby. I also started radical right wing Christian convertism, watch out, i will judge you.
I am Ron Paul. where am i? Who am i? I will convert you right wingers to Liberatarian.
Rest of the time they just said...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLABLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH H BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

Former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison Tuesday for lying and obstructing the CIA leak investigation. However, i feel sad for the guy for getting pushed in front to protect his corrupt boss Cheney and Christian Right Wing Fundamentalist Karl Rove. These two, Cheney and Rove, are the scum of the earth with no moral and ethical standards. Guys like these would push their own kid infront of running train to protect themselves, "Scooter" was no one to them.
I am disappointed at the Democrats for not pursuing these two more vigoriously. Dems don't settle with a fall guy. The real criminals are out there, running around. Is there any doubt that these two have committed multiple crimes?? Like i said before, this administration is full of corrupt individuals. Every one of them served under Nixon in one form or other. We kicked them all out once, Dems lets do it again.

I just got back from my vacation. It was very relaxing and had great rounds of golf...Tiger watch out! However, there were some weired stuff that happened, some funny, some outright wrong.
To start with, right at DFW airport bathroom, i encountered a grown man peeing with his jeans and underwear pulled all the way down to his knees....like little kids, showing his hairy azzz. I wanted to tell him to pull his pants up but why take trouble? We all just laughed....The guy needs to learn how to pee, i wonder how he goes about on his day to day life?
On the plane, there were some kids crying and other kids playing throw ball. Can the parents be little considerate of others?
Once on the hotel, concierge helped me with our bags to room. Gave him $5 tip. My wife later told me the guy rolled his eyes and shook his head while leaving. What's the proper tip amount for baggage helpers at the hotel? I always give the same amount.
On the same note, what's the proper tip amount for housekeepers?
Next day, at the hotel bar, this guy comes out of nowhere and starts to join our team, acting out loud and crazy. We finally have to tell him to calm down and go join others, told him we have to discuss business issues. People stay out of other peoples group!!!!
Shouldn't the five star hotels have free use of computer at the business center? All the money that they charge per room, they should not charge $1/min for the business center computer use.
Is it ok for gay couples to sit right beside you and your kids and start holding hands and kiss on the lips etc.?? Since i have little ones, it was hard for me to explain the behavior to them. I am all for gay rights but could they not make out on public, same goes for heterosexual couples. Is it rude to move and find another table in that case? Find a room to heavy make out people....
Finally, i think people need to mellow out during vaction. JUST USE THE COMMON SENSE THAT GOD GAVE YOU.

This memorial day, most will be enjoying our cold Tecate and Tequilla, with bar-b-que chicken and pork chops, enjoying a day off. Most will forget the significance of this day...the sacrifices individuals and families have to make, just so we can enjoy our freedom.
Since 9/11, 20 of my friends (some very good friends), have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq. The pain family here at home have gone through are tremendous, especially the kids. And most times loss of a family member is aggrovated by financial difficulties these family have.
Whether you agree with the politics of war, should be kept aside, to remember those who lost their lives fighting for this country. Every sip of Tecate you take, don't forget the fact that, it is provided to you in a free society by the men and women serving this country. So, if you see a veteran, meet those currently serving and know the family that have lost their loved ones, stop and say "Thank You". Or better yet find the family that have lost a loved ones and offer a support, financial or otherwise.
And to the one who lost their lives, our country remembers you and appreciates the sacrifices you have made for this country.

After both party's no confindence and repeated resignation from all, how can AG Gonzales still be running the show at the Justice Dept.? Though majority of Americans want this guy be gone, Bushy still says he has faith and confidence on this guy. You know why? He is a Bushy Crony. And Bushy loves to protect his cronies. This administration is more corrupt than Nixon. Nixon, atleast had guts to accept the wrong doings and move on. I want Bushy and his cronies to apologize to American people for:
1) Rigged vote count first time around.
2) War on Iraq and all the lies.
3) Tax cuts to the rich.
4) Piling deficit.
5) Corrupt cabinet, right from Cheney to Rumsfeld to Gonzales.
6) Response to Katrina aftermath.
Infact, how about just impeaching the guy?? Do we have enough vote yet? Right wingers, we haven't forgotten Impeachment hearings of President Clinton yet. And we never will. Believe me, the amount of corruption this guy (Bush) has done, we could get him for treason. GET HIM OUT#@@@%???

The current immigration bill, no matter how you look at it, is not fair to immigrants. Right wing bloggers and talk radio wackos try to entice nationalism and patriotism to lash against the immigrants, legal or otherwise, calling the bill an "amnesty bill". Some facts you need to know:
1) If we are giving out path to citizenship, why then bunch of hurdles?? The path should be easier to follow NOT with bunch of BS obstacles.
2) The bill, unlike the right wing of Republicans claim, is not an Amnesty. How can it be amnesty when they have to pay fines, return to their homeland before coming back again??? etc etc. Go look up the defn. of Amesty. Not gonna educate you right wingers.
3) The right wingers reasonable solution is to "round them up and send them home", as these fools don't know, would not work. How the hell you gonna round up 12 to 20MM people? Do you know the social and economic impact of this solution??
4) Right wingers are scared because minority (all combined) would be a majority and can influence policies. It has to do with race as well. But the fact they don't know is that whites population is going down since majority of them only have 1.2 kids vs. 3.4 kids minority population have. Catch up white people.
5) My thought is either all or nothing on immigration. How long do you want them to be second hand citizen? Enough is enough. And, first legalize and then border fencing.
6) Finally, news to right wingers, FB lost. Judge threw the law passed by citing FED law...he stressed on uniformity. Try again, do it. Don't forget, for every racist, there are five sensible people. That's why our democarcy works.
Right wingers not allowed to comment on this blog.

Over the years I had lots of disagreements on Rev. Falwell's views. Infact, i hated his over the line political and "shove it on your throat" religious views. He lived as a very controversial figure, with extreme right wing religious agenda that he wanted to push forward for all. I don't know whether i should laugh or feel sad on his death. But i know one thing for sure, he now have to answer to Jesus on tremendous amount of hatred he had for fellow Americans who did not equate to HIS level of morality. Rev. rest in peace!

I whole heartedly disagree with the decision over the weekend by residents of FB to require Apt owners/managers to check for citizenship of residents. I want all, especially immigrants and minorities, to boycott FB businesses and write to their racist elected officials about their disagreements. Reasons for my disagreements are mainly:
1) Its not the private businesses job to police the public. Let the Fed regulate and enforce the immigration laws.
2) We live in a global world, in 21st century, where this type of targeted hatred towards a group should be punished. FB will soon have a "whites only" signs on their restaurants and water coolers. If anyone says it is not based on race and ethnicity, you must be on some cool aid.
3) Businesses should be focused on doing a business, by attracting customers, not to divert their resources otherwise. Same goes to city government. Now, FB taxpayers have to pay their tax money to fight a law suit rather than their money spent on schools, roads etc.
4) FB, face the fact! Illegals are here, living, working amongst us. Most are good members of our society. Most are just here to earn their living and provide for their family. Go back and look at the history of how Europeans came here, and how we legalized them over time. They (Europeans), too, came on a boat, illegally but we accomodated them.
There are many other reasons, economic and social, but i will stop at this. If you are a minority and a recent immigrant, you go to FB, you are doing injustice to your fellow member. Also, if you have black hair and brown eyes, the first thing cops ask for is your citizenship. What a freaking joke!

It was really amazing to me how Rev. Al Sharpton on a debate yesterday said something to an effect that "Mormons don't believe in god" and "Mormon is not a religion". Just couple of weeks back he wanted I-Man's job for big a biggot and insulting, hating a group of black BB players. Couple of issues:
-If you hate/dislike and be ignorant about one group, most likely you are against most other groups who don't look, act like you. With Rev, he probably hates Whites, Asians etc
-Since he wanted somebody's job for offending, should we ask for his radio job and civil rights group that he heads?
-He points out that minorities can't be racist since to be a racist you have to have power in the society. I disagree.
Your thoughts??
