I am totally ashamed of Obama's actions in France. I understand that he is showboating for the liberal press and trying to seek favor in the voter's eyes, but what he did over the skipping of the hospital with the soldiers is totally deplorable. There is no reason in thee world why he could not have stopped thru and seen those soldiers. Just because he could not have his entourage along with him is not any sort of a good reason for skipping that. That is not a matter of liberals versus conservatives, but is a matter of ethics. If he is going to try to be a Commander in Chief, he needs to act like one and visit his troops, no matter what. Then there is that prayer note that he wrote. Totally self centered and not a word of thanks in there. Once again he demonstrates his inability to stand for or support his nation as a leader. This country is in trouble if he gets elected.

To be a president, you have to be a man of action and not one of empty words. He needed to leave his political following behind on the plane and gone to see those men and women. Just because they would not let cameras in there is not a good reason to skip that. A pretty face in a picture is not near as impactive as the show of a true and caring heart.

I am furious over this report. Not as much at FOX News, but more at that cold blooded killer that you interviewed. This is in reference to the news story about the 2 kids that were killed in front of the christian music studio with the interview with the confessed killers.
I am so pissed off at the killer that had no remorse, that I am not sure I can describe my feelings without using forbidden expletives in here. So, I will do my best to contain myself and get what I am thinking off my mind.
I have no remorse for that guy. There is no room in society for people like that and it is a total shame that it takes a tragedy like this to realize this. He speaks of having no remorse? Let me catch him in a dark alley some time and I would demonstrate what having no sympathy or remorse is like. But now, we have to rely on the justice system to decide his fate. Personally, I don't think there is a punishment good enough for him. I firmly believe in the death penalty and I think it suits this case very well, but I think he needs some time to develop some regret before he is sent to the Lord to be judged.
This guy is the direct result of being raised in a bad or non family environment. This is a result of the streets that don't have enough law enforcement and judges that won't recognize that there is a problem with letting repeat offenders out with a slap on the wrist. If you get a chance to check, I am sure you will find that this guy has a crime record a mile long. Why is it that I am blind and can see the problem here?
Now, as I said I am not as pissed at FOX for airing the story and I do respect that they kept most of the interview online for  selective audience, but this thug was just using the news story as a trophy. He was proud to be on the news talking about it. It is a status thing for those he used to run with. That part should not have been shown, especially for him to be able to rub it in the wounds of the teen's families. The remorseful killer was fine to show, as he has realized right from wrong.
I pray there is no leniency from the courts on this one. I know when he is sent to the Lord, he won't be, unless this thug truly learns what it is to be remorseful and knowing right from wrong. Perhaps the rest of his life behind bars and in cuffs, without access to his guns and freedom will give him a new perspective.

This is in response to the story on the child who was left at the Chucky Cheese and the father's response to it.....
I do not agree with the father's response of criticizing the police for not getting a picture of the kid out sooner. I can understand that there was an error in the communication between his sisters, causing the incident, but some things really stand out to me in this story.
If he was really being responsible in this situation, he would have known that the child was at the birthday party and would have known where the party was. If I were in his shoes, I would have been making calls to make sure the child was accounted for as soon as I saw the news story. I would have not needed a picture on the news for that.
I would have also had routine checkups on the child instead of letting DAYS (48 hours) pass while she was in the care of others. This is a defined parental responsibility. Also knowing EXACTLY who the child is with is in that catagoory.
Making this out to be a police problem is just this guy's way of trying to point the blame off of his own responsibility. No excuses should be made by the father. His children should be more important than overlooking things like this.

This blog is written in reference to the story of a west Dallas business owner who shot and killed a intruder at his scrap-yard. This was an incident that happened last week and at the time, the guy did not want to be bothered by anybody, including the media, over the incident.

Today, your news team tracked him down, out getting a new gun and the following interview that you had with him seemed to be forced on the poor guy, by your overzealous reporter, who was obviously trying to make a story out of this. There was no reason for your reporter to have to do this as it has been ruled that the guy was not at fault in the incident and was just defending himself and his property, which is totally legal in the way he did it under Texas law. What made this all worse, was the timing of the reporter, who had seemingly been following him, waited for him to be "possibly doing something wrong". He was not doing anything wrong in getting the new shotgun, as the Dallas Police have to take his other ones for the investigation.

This guy was not doing anything wrong. Why did your reporters have to give him a hard time over something he is obviously doing his best to deal with. There was no need for that interview and for your reporters to be stalking him like that. Your reporter was even falling him just short of calling him a bad man for getting a new gun. That is totally unfair and undercuts the moral fibers which your station usually has.

Shame on your station for approving and running that story.

In all of the years that I have watched the Cowboys, I have seen some incredible games and plays, but tonight's game had more emotion and edge of the seat clinching than I have had in ages. Best of all, it was watching the Cowboys starting off the game cussing them and then cheering for an incredible final 2 minutes is what watching football is all about.

Tonight, it was not about TO or Romo as in by perspective, they both sucked, but the rest of the team pulled them thru what could have been a devastating and shameful loss, but instead was one of the most impossible finishes that I have ever seen in football.

Don't write off this team folks, it is gonna be a wild ride.

I am going to have to start this one off by saying that I fully support the death penalty and I do thing that lethal in injection is a humane way to dispense the death penalty. That being the case, I am very appalled by the recent decision by the courts to look at lethal injection as being inhumane and in the wake of this, seeing that death sentences are being put off because of it.

I have to say here, do you think these killers that we are putting to death used humane ways to kill their victims? Why should we extend humanity back to them?

So, why do we have to keep housing them in a jail system that they know they are not going to get out of and making reasonable society pay for it? Even worse is that their lawyers and the rights activists are costing us even more money by contesting something that they have no idea about. How many of them have been thru lethal injection and will be able to stand in front of a judge and say "it hurts". NONE. That is because they have not done something that causes them to have to do that, but instead, they have nothing to do other than be another form of a burden on the already stressed court system.

Life sentences are worthless in the prison system, because the criminals that are there on that know that there is no chance for them to get out, so there is no motivation for them to try to get rehabilitated. All of the others in there know that they have another chance and for the most part will at least try to be rehabilitated. Why should we extend the time of a person that is not willing to try to be a regular citizen again? The death penalty offers plenty of chance to prove whether they are guilty or not, but the facts of their convictions are that they were convicted BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT. Those convicting them know why they got the sentences they did, but rarely does regular society see the real facts of the cases. Now these protesting the penalty without the facts, want to be the judge and jury because it might hurt a bit in the criminals last moments? Give me a break.
