If Jason Castro doesn't go home tonight, there is something seriously wrong with the Idol viewers.  The poor kid just can't sing!  He may look good to the teenage girls, but he just can't hold a candle to the other 3 contestants.

I think this is one of the worst AI I have seen. Don't look for them to be on much longer with the people they are putting on, the last two years really has sucked.

I was glad to see him go and frankly, couldn't believe he got as far as he did, I am certain it was more because of his popularity with teenage girls than his talent, because he has not talent. There is an odd demeanor about him, what used to appear to be a bashful side, turned into a goofy side and in last weeks performances... into a "I don't care" side. That hair has to go too, he looks like a really ugly woman.

Yeah I like Cook too but it wouldn't bother me if either of the David's win, they are both really talented. I am not sure though if little David has the maturity level needed to be a star, he seems very bashful almost to the point of being embarrassed most of the time and if he wins this, he is going to be an instant star, I am not sure he could handle it.

I have to admit, I'm not an loyal AI viewer or fan. But I was really hoping Jason would win, I dont even think I've heard him sing lol, just because he is local. I know its kind of silly. Okay, not kind of but REALLY silly. Oh well. He'll be back home soon now, haha.

Apparently A&M sent out alerts to the current and former students to vote for Jason Castro... What has happened to the fine wholesome southern institution that was A&M?

Also, my mom commented that "his eyes sparkle - so full of life!"

I had to tell her that it is because he smoked some pot and had to use eye drops - it is NOT a natural sparkle!!

Those of you who make ignorant assumptions about the drug use of a person based on their appearance are only making yourselves look bad, not Jason. You can ask anyone who knows him and they will tell you he has never used drugs.

If Fox 4 cared enough to do the slightest amount of research tney would have been able to inform the public that Jason Castro is a young man of high moral character as well as stellar academic accomplishments, and apparently millions of Americans rather enjoy his singing since he did make the top 4.

By the way, the teenie girls are all voting for David Archuleta. Jason appeals to a wide range of ages...that too could easily be determined by some simple research, but of course it is more fun to make false and disparaging remarks.

You people are cruel and insensitive. Jason is a good singer. I am far from being a teenager and I really liked him. At least he is a good Christian, which is more that I can say for the rest of you!
