OK, aren't gas prices high enough with out a bunch of people out there who are completely clueless as to how their vehicle functions wasting gas for the rest of us?

What am I talking about?  I am talking about the people out there who are on the freeway driving only 45 miles an hour because they THINK the are saving gas.  They are NOT.  They are wasting gas; they are tying up traffic and they are wasting the gas of poor suckers like me who keep getting stuck behind these morons and can't get around them for miles because even though the traffice is supposed to be moving a posted speeds, it is still heavy enough to make it difficult to get around these people.

For the mechanically uninformed:  There is a reason why every car comes with two sets of figures for estimated MPG.  One set for highway driving and one set for city street driving.  It's called OVERDRIVE and every modern vehicle has it.  When OVERDRIVE kicks in, it lowers the rpm's of your engine.  Lower rpm's = lower fuel consumption.  Overdrive does not kick in until your vehicle is traveling at 55 MILES PER HOUR!  Therefore, if you are only traveling 45 miles per hour you are using MORE gas than you are at 55 miles per hour.

And just a little more information; higher rpm's also = more wear and tear on your engine.

And while I'm on a wasting gas rant, I have also noticed that there are a bunch of folks out there suffering in this heat rather than running their A/C in another misguided effort at saving gas.  Again, at highway speeds, you are WASTING gas by not running the A/C.  Why?  Because with the windows down, you are disrupting the areodynamics of your vehicle.  With the windows down, you create more wind drag on your car because air flow is not only disrupted, it gets trapped inside of the car causing the rear windshield to behave like an air brake.  With the windows up, air flows cleanly around, over and under your car which increases your MPG.  So why suffer? 

Things can be different if you are driving around on the city streets depending on the size of your car, the size of you engine and the size of your A/C compressor.  For instance, if you have a full size, say SUV with a V-8 engine and the large A/C compressor that goes with it, running the A/C will have little or no effect on your MPG on the city streets.  However, if you only have a 4-cylinder engine, the determining factor on if running the A/C will use more gas is based entirely on the size of your A/C unit.  If you have a very small A/C unit, you will probably use more gas on the city streets versus a vehicle with a full size A/C unit.

And another point since I am on my soap box:  With gas prices so high, WHY am I still seeing folks sitting in their cars with the engines running while someone else runs into the store?  Get OUT of the car and go INTO the store with them!

Whew.  OK, I'm done.

The media needs to give this woman a break!  She is human, and she messes up sometimes. 

The travel schedule for Idol is nothing less than exhausting.  And this year they threw in Idol Gives Back, not to mention her personal appearances, her other business interests.

We also can't forget the fact that for the entire first half of this season, she has been ill.  She also has and old injury that causes her a great deal of pain at times and I hear she is working on a new album!

So she messed up?  So WHAT!

I doubt that, she is being attacked because she is who she is.  But for anyone who has any doubts here are 47 more reasons why she is being attacked:

Just a quick refresher course lest we forget what has happened to many 'friends' of the Clinton's.  Has anyone else had this many people close to them die of un-natural causes.


1.  James McDougal - Clinton's convicted Whitewater partner died of an 'apparent heart attack', while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr's investigation. Case remains unsolved.

2.  Mary Mahoney - A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown. The murder happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House. Case remains unsolved.

3.  Vince Foster - Former White House councilor, and colleague of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock's Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a 'suicide'.  The gun was in his right hand - he was left handed. He was lying on an incline but the blood was shown to run uphill in photos. The FBI, Washington DC Police or no other agency was allowed to investigate only the Park Service Police (civil servants not trained in this area.) Case closed?

4.  Ron Brown - Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. He was reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown's skull resembling a gunsh ot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors. The rest of the people on the plane also died. A few days later the Air Traffic Controller directing this plane committed suicide. Case closed?

5.  C. Victor Raiser II - Raiser, a major player in the Clinton fund raising organization died in a private plane crash in July 1992.  Case remains unsolved.

6.  Paul Tulley - Democratic National Committee Political Director found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock, September 1992. Tulley was described by Clinton as a 'Dear friend and trusted advisor'.  Case remains unsolved.

7 .  Ed Willey - Clinton fund raiser, found dead November 1993 deep in the woods in VA of a gunshot wound to the head which was ruled a 'suicide'. Ed Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House. Ed Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events. Case remains unsolved.

8.  Jerry Parks - Head of Clinton's gubernatorial security team in Little Rock. Gunned down in is car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock.  Park's son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton.  He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house. Case remains unsolved.

9.  James Bunch - Died from a gunshot 'suicide'. It was reported that he had a 'Black Book' of people which contained names of influential people who visited prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas. Case remains unsolved.

10.  James Wilson - Was found dead in May 1993 from an apparent hanging 'suicide'. He was reported to have ties to Whitewater. Apparent suicide?

11.  Kathy Ferguson - Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead in May 1994, in her living room with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a 'suicide' even though there were several pack ed suitcases, as if she were going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones. Apparent suicide.

12.  Bill Shelton - Arkansas State Trooper and fiancée of Kathy Ferguson. Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancee, he was found dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the grave site of his fiancee. Apparent suicides - both of them?

13.  Gandy Baugh - Baugh was an Attorney for Clinton's friend Dan Lassater, died by jumping out a window of a tall building January, 1994. His client was a convicted drug distributor. Apparent suicide.

14.  Florence Martin - Accountant and sub-contractor for the CIA, was related to the Barry Seal Mean Arkansas Airport drug smuggling case. He died of three gunshot wounds. Case remains unsolved.

15 Suzanne Coleman - Reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was Arkansas Attorney General. Died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head, ruled a 'suicide'. She was pregnant at the time of her death but no testing - DNA - to establish who the father was. C ase remains unsolved.

16.  Paula Grober - Clinton's speech interpreter for the deaf from 1978 until her death December 9, 1992 She died in a one car accident. Ruled an accident. Case closed.

17.  Danny Casolaro  - Investigative reporter was investigating the Mean Airport and Arkansas Development Finance Authority. He 'slit his wrists' apparently in the middle of his investigation. Ruled a suicide.

18.  Paul Wilcher - Attorney investigating corruption at Mean Airport with Casolaro and the 1980 'October Surprise' was found dead on a toilet June 22, 1993 in his Washington DC apartment. Wilcher had delivered a report to Janet Reno 3 weeks before his death. Case remains unsolved.

19.  Jon Parnell Walker - Whitewater investigator for Resolution Trust Corp. 'Jumped to his death' from his Arlington, Virginia apartment balcony August 15, 1993.  He was investigating the Morgan Guaranty scandal. Ruled a suicide.

20.   Barbara Wise - Commerce Department staffer. Wise had worked closely with Ron Brown and John Huang. Cause of death unknown. She died November 29, 1996. Her bruised, nude body was found locked in her office at the Department of Commerce.  This case remains unsolved.

21.   Charles Meissner - Assistant Secretary of Commerce who gave John Huang special security clearance, died shortly thereafter in a small plane crash. Ruled an accident.

22.  Dr. Stanley Heard - Chairman of the National Chiropractic Health Care Advisory Committee died with his attorney Steve Dickson in a small plane crash. Dr Heard, in addition to serving on Clinton's advisory council personally treated Clinton's mother, stepfather and brother. Ruled an accident.

23.  Barry Seal - Drug running TWA pilot out of Mean Arkansas Airport, death was no acciden t but was ruled as one.

24.  Johnny Lawhorn Jr. - Mechanic, found a check made out to Bill Clinton in the trunk of a car left at his repair shop. He was found dead after his car had hit a utility pole. Ruled an accident.

25.  Stanley Huggins - Investigated Madison Guaranty. His death was a 'purported suicide' and his report was never released. Ruled a suicide.

26.  Hershell Friday  - Attorney and Clinton fund raiser died March 1, 1994 when his plane  exploded. Case remains unsolved.

27.  Kevin Ives &  Don Henry - Known as 'The boys on the track' case. Reports say the boys may have stumbled upon the Mean Arkansas airport drug operation, a controversial case.   The initial report of death said, 'due to falling asleep on railroad tracks'. (Yeah, RIGHT) Later reports claim the 2 boys had been slain before being placed on the tracks. Many linked to the case died before their testimony could come before a Grand Jury. Case remains unsolved.

THE FOLLOWING  PERSONS HAD INFORMATION ON THE IVES/HENRY CASE:

28.  Keith  Coney - Died when his motorcycle slammed into the back of a truck,  7/88.
29.  Keith McMaskle - Died, stabbed 113 times, Nov, 1988

30.  Gregory Collins - Died from a gunshot wound January 1989.
31.  Jeff Rhodes - He was shot, mutilated and found burned in a trash dump in April 1989.
33.  James Milan -  Found decapitated. However, the Coroner ruled his death was due to 'natural causes'.  
34.  Jordan Kettleson - Was found shot to death in the front seat of his pickup truck in June 1990.
35.  Richard Winters - A suspect in the Ives / Henry deaths. He was killed in a set-up robbery July 1989.

Quite an impressive list!

HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT? SURELY YOU JEST!

There are some very good reasons why the recent "Immigration Reform Bill" aka amnesty failed and they are not the following:

1. The people opposed are ignorant.
2. The people opposed are racists.
3. The people opposed are unchristian.

The recent attempt at shoving yet another amnesty bill down the throats of American Citizens failed because of the following:

1. The supposed "enforcement trigger" by which the INS is supposed to track people who are here on expired visas or temporary work permits does NOT exist.
2. The illegal immigrants would get "legal" status way before any attempt at enforcement begins because of this.
3. This bill did not require that thorough backround checks be completed before temporary work visas are issued.  Under the current immigration laws there are already some 60 thousand illegal immigrants who failed the backround checks for whatever reason; prior convictions, terrorist connections, whatever running around loose in America that INS is unable to locate and deport.  This bill would have guaranteed thousands, maybe millions more.
4. This bill had no provisions for barring individuals who already have convictions on record for such things as gang violence, rape, child molestation and absconders (those who have already been caught here at least once, convicted and ordered for deporation).  Nor did this bill provide any provisions for individuals found to have terrorism connections be barred from amnesty.
5. This bill did not require payment of back taxes for the time they were here illegally.  Only a small fine.  (Small when you consider the average illegal has been here for 10 years or more.)
6. This bill claimed to have set aside funds for "building the fence" which is legislation that was passed 20 years ago and so far, only a few miles of this fence exists.  It's a lie.  20 years ago the funds were authorized and nothing happended.  I wonder where all that money went?
7. This bill had no provisions to stop illegal immigrants from receiving benefits from tax payer funded programs.

We have won one small battle on this issue, but our work is not done.  Those of us who have been in the fight to stop this bill can not rest.  Those of you who are not in the fight need to wake up.  Those of us who joined in the fight are not ignorant.  If we were ignorant, we would have allowed this bill to pass.  We are not racists, we want the laws of our land abided by.  We are not unchristian because we understand that the laws of man must be adheard to.

This country was made great by the diversity of people, customs and cultures, but it was done LEGALLY.  We need to return to that time.  We need to stop pandering to the millions and millions of illegal immigrants in this country.  We need to stop being so "politically correct" and do what is right for our country.  If we "step on the toes" of the "host" countries of the illegal immigrants, so what.  To bad.  Fix the problems in your own country and stop trying to foist them upon American Citizens.  We are sick and tired of paying for your problems.  If you don't have the same freedoms Americans have to fix the problems, that is your own fault.  Americans fought for those freedoms.  Americans died for those freedoms and so did many LEGAL immigrants. 

The message is loud and clear:  Don't come here and expect to be granted the freedoms that we American citizens enjoy if you are not willing to not only embrace America as your country, but FIGHT to keep those freedoms.  And the fight does not necessarily mean picking up a gun, pick up a pen, or a keyboard, or a phone.  BUT DO IT IN ENGLISH.  This amnesty bill, had it passed would have been a harsh slap in the face to every single immigrant who came here legally and did everything necessary to become an American Citizen.  At the very least. 

I myself would not be here today were it not for LEGAL imigration.  My GreatGreatgrandfather enlisted in the American Navy at the beginning of WWII in order to escape the Nazi regime.  But he did so LEGALLY.  And it was something that he and my GreatGreatgrandmother were proud of until their dying day.  And, the other side of my family is Native American.  Blackfoot to be exact.

But I do NOT welcome those who enter MY country illegally.  They come here and take and take and take and give nothing back but more broken laws.  They spend around 90% of their untaxed income OUT of the country.  They break so many of our moral turpitude laws that we are starting to look like a country of barbarians.  We are NOT.  But they keep coming here and continue to live their lives as if they are still living in a society where women have no rights.  They come "home" drunk and because dinner isn't on the table, they beat the BLEEP out of their girlfriend or wife and think that it is OK.  It is NOT OK.  They rape women and think it is OK because of the way they were dressed; they were sinners.  It is NOT OK.  They commit adultry with impunity.  Is that OK?  Not by American standards it is not.

Oh and then there is the totally out of control media to consider.  I am all for our First Amendment rights, but please people, let us show some responsibility for what we put on the news.  You are supposed to be there to help, not put gas on the fire.  Why not use our constitutional right to free speach and press for the good of the country and not the opposite????

OK ya'll, I'll get off my soap box now.  If I have offendend someone, I will NOT apoligize because this is how I feel.  I may not be exactly right in all my comments, but it is my Constitutional right to express them.  We have the right in this country to do so and Sticky is one who defended that right.

Politicians:  Just Say NO!

 

 

We as Americans are lucky enough to have the privilege of living in the greatest country on the planet.  However, too many Americans have forgotten that along with any privilege comes responsibilities that must be met in order to keep that privilege.  Too many Americans have forgotten that we can, and should be held accountable for failing to meet those responsibilities.  Most specifically, American politicians have forgotten this basic rule.  American politicians have forgotten what their jobs are and whom they work for.  They have forgotten whom they answer to and why. 

 

 

America is no longer the “Super Power” she once was.  Why?  It is a result of the actions of American politicians.  They have made this country look like arrogant, petty, greedy, ungrateful, corrupt, immoral, morons in front of the entire world.  American politicians seem to have only two things on their minds; advancing their political careers/personal agendas and their bank accounts.  They no longer act in the best interest of this country or her citizens.  They choose the path that gets them votes to keep them in office rather than the path that is in the best interest of this country.  They choose to be “politically correct” and afraid to offend rather than standing up for what is right and just.  They are more interested in protecting political interest (more commonly known as money) than in protecting our Constitution.  They have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

American politicians continuously and routinely give in to pressure from special interest groups that don’t care what is good for this country; they simply want their way.  And the politicians want their money.

 

 

A good example of this is the joke that is called “gun control”.  Every single gun control law is a complete failure; a complete waste of taxpayer time and money.  If a criminal or psycho wants a gun, they WILL get it, no matter what the law says.  History should have taught that lesson years ago.  Not only are the gun control laws failing to protect American citizens, they make it more difficult for Americans to protect themselves.  In addition, each and every gun control law is unconstitutional.  The second amendment to our Constitution says:  “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”  Yet our politicians continue to pass one useless, unconstitutional law after another.    They have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

American politicians are so busy with their infighting, backstabbing, lying, cheating and stealing from this country that they completely fail to see the catastrophic results of their failure to do their jobs.  Or should I say, choose not to see.  They fail to see that their irresponsible behavior is the cause of two of the biggest problems facing this great nation today:  Illegal immigration and terrorism.  They have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

American politicians have spent decades making fools of themselves and this country sucking up to our enemies, gleefully stripping us of our constitutional rights and lining their pockets, all the while ignoring the enormous social, economic and collateral damage being done to this country by out of control illegal immigration. 

 

 

The worst of the social damage I feel is an air of almost complete indifference.  Until recently, our politicians seem to have been indifferent to the fact that there are millions of people in this country illegally and blind to the fact that entering this country illegally is just the first of the laws being broken by these people.  The illegal immigrants themselves are indifferent to our laws and do not feel bound to abide by them.  And the American citizens are paying the price, and it is a hefty one.  Because of this indifference, the “moral fiber” of this country has been ripped to shreds.  Things like common courtesy, common sense, and respect for others seem to be a thing of the past.  And it is getting worse.

 

 

The economic problems plaguing America because of out of control illegal immigration are so catastrophic and far reaching this country may never fully recover.  And they are so numerous there is no way to address them all here.  The most obvious, and the most damaging to this country is the fact that there are millions of undocumented workers who are not paying taxes.  In addition to not paying taxes, they send most of their income out of this country to support families back home.  They also, due to the fact that they breed new little American citizens at a rate that puts a rabbit to shame, are bleeding tax-funded programs dry.  Why do you think our Social Security system is in the shape it is in?  Why do you think the minimum wage in this country hasn’t been raised in over ten years?  And there are some idiot politicians who think the illegal immigrant “work force” is good for our economy.  They have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

Billions and billions of taxpayer money is being spent every year on forms, literature, signage and just about every place you might find the printed word in multiple languages.  It is getting to the point where an American citizen can’t get a job unless they are bilingual.  Which is a violation of our Constitutional right to work.  What other country caters to the illegal immigrant population in this manner?  NONE.  But our politicians are too afraid of offending someone and too busy putting their own interests first to declare English as the national language.  They have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

The collateral damage to this country because of out of control illegal immigration is an issue that has been completely ignored by our politicians.  The need for additional housing in this country has skyrocketed.  The consumption of energy in this country has skyrocketed.  Crime in this country has skyrocketed so has our need for more and more prisons.  These things, these realities are due largely to the skyrocketing number of illegal immigrants in this country.  Our automobile insurance rates in the country have also skyrocketed because illegal immigrants don’t bother to get a driver’s license, much less auto insurance.

 

 

And we cannot forget the collateral damage that resulted from the 9-11 attacks.  The loss of life and property on a scale no American should ever forget.  And who carried out these attacks?  Terrorists?  Yes, they were terrorists, but they were also something else, they were ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!!  And what did our politicians do in the aftermath of 9-11?  They sat around for two years pointing fingers and assigning blame to everyone but themselves.  Had they being doing their jobs in the first place, 9-11 might never have happened.  But, they had forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

These same politicians are trying to cram amnesty for illegal immigrants down the throats of American citizens without taking into consideration that this amnesty would also apply to the thousands of Muslim extremists who are now in this country illegally, plotting against America from inside.  Are they crazy, or just stupid?  No, they have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

Now, these same politicians are yet again making us look like a country of fools with their idiotic rhetoric against the war in Iraq.  They are doing everything they can to paint our President as a liar and war monger to take our focus off of their failure to protect this country.  They have conveniently forgotten that these terrorists came here, to our country and killed thousands of innocent civilian men, women and children and it is THEIR FAULT!!  If they had spent more time doing their jobs instead of acting like fools and getting rich in the process, the immigration problem would not have been so out of control so as to allow these terrorists into our country to begin with.  Nor do they seem to understand that if they succeed with their idiotic plan for a set date for troop withdrawal, the terrorists will simply go back into hiding and wait us out?   They have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

Just because we have not found any WMD in Iraq these fools want us to believe there are none and our President lied about their existence to “trick” them into going to war.  Does anyone remember the never-ending delays and non-compliance that the U.N. Weapons Inspectors faced after Desert Storm?  It shouldn’t take a genius, much less a politician, to figure out that the purpose of the delays was so that Sadaam could dismantle and move his WMD to a better hiding spot.  He was running scared because he had been exposed as the monster he was.  He knew, from our history that America would not tolerate a monster like him in control of middle eastern country that has been volatile for centuries, much less in control of WMD.  The only thing we can do is pray that the secret of their location died with him. 

 

 

And you can bet that the terrorists are loving every minute of every idiotic speech made by some politician critisizing and denouncing the war against them.  They are laughing at us.  What better, more efficient and expedient way of convincing the few allies we still have in this mission to withdraw their support?  All the terrorists have to do is sit and wait.  Our politicians want to sit and whine that the war is not going the way they “expected” it too.  War never does!!  That is why it is called war.  Our politicians behavior is why the war is going the way it is.  The terrorists know what they are doing.  And they will continue to keep blowing up innocent Iraqi citizens and American soldiers as long as they know that we are not 100% committed to ridding America and the rest of the world of them.  If our politicians would sit down, shut up and present a united front to the rest of the world, things would be a whole lot different.  But no, what do we have?  We have politicians who were once in support of hunting down these cowards now saying that they have changed their mind.  And they are doing so loudly.  These fools are sending a very clear message to the terrorists, and the rest of the world that America’s bark has lost its bite.  American is more vulnerable to attack now than it ever has been because of our politicians.  They have forgotten whom they answer to.

 

 

It is time for WE THE PEOPLE to get off our butts and remind these politicians that they answer to US!!  It is time to do so loudly and clearly.  It is time for WE THE PEOPLE to take back what is ours.  WE THE PEOPLE have the power to do so if we will only use it productively.  It is time for WE THE PEOPLE to send a clear message to Washington that we will no longer tolerate the behavior of our politicians.  American can no longer afford these politicians, what we need are true statesmen and women to stand up and do what is right for this country and stop wasting time and money on useless rhetoric, propaganda and laws.  We live in the information age, we have the power to expose the corruption and lies in an instant.  We have the power to impeach politicians who are acting in their own best interest instead of that of the citizens.  We have the power to start a vote of no confidence against the worst offenders.  WE THE PEOPLE have the power, and we should be using it.

I am really wondering what kind of society it is that we live in that breeds people with little or no morals, values or idea of right and wrong.  A society where:

Teenagers are giving pot to a 2 and 3 year old.

A 15 and 16 year old steal a car then run from the police and end up ramming the car through someones wood fence totaling the car and who knows how much damage to the fence (who is going to have to pay for that by the way?)  I know who should, those two kids' parents.

Someone can cut off the ears and slash the vocal cords of a little puppy and use it for "bait" to train other dogs to fight and then leave the poor thing on the side of the road to die.

Teenagers vandalizing their own high school.

People so low they rob churches.

A pastor who drugs and rapes women in his congregation.

Preists who molest little boys (and a church that spent years covering it up).

A registered sex offender working as a juvenile detention officer.

Juvenile detention officers molesting inmates.

Doctors bilking millions of dollars from patients, insurance compainies and Medicare for unnecessary heart surgery that cause on poor woman to suffer a massive stroke who is now completely incapacitated and because the FBI bungled the investigation not only will these Doctors not face criminal charges, but they still have their medical licenses.

Some guy kills both of his kids and then himself and the restraining order filed against him goes into affect AFTER he does this.

Some guy shoots a woman in the head while she is driving, then kills himself.

An American soldier who sells top secret information to terrorists.

A burgler who escapes from jail and continues to rob people who has freinds who are willing to break the law to hide him.

Some moron stealing copper wire from a railroad crossing in broad daylight.

I just don't get it ya'll.  It is so depressing to watch the news anymore, but you have to keep up with what is going on so that you can do your best to stay safe.  Is there even such a thing as safe anymore?

I have a message for the "Democrats" and the folks who oppose the war in Iraq. Each and every one of you is failing to meet your patriotic obligations.

Do you enjoy the freedoms we are granted by our Constitution?

You know, like the freedom of speech, the freedom from religious persecution, the freedom of CHOICE?

Do you like the freedom to VOTE?

Do you like the freedom to pick from over 400 channels available on cable/dish TV?

Do you like the freedom to choose which church to attend?

Do you like the freedom to choose NOT to attend church?

Do you like the freedom to choose which music to listen to?

Do you like the freedom to choose which schools to send your children to?

Do you like the freedom to choose where you buy your groceries?

Do you like the freedom to choose which books you will read?

Do you like the freedom to marry whom you love and choose?

If you like even one of these freedoms, then your job, your patriotic duty is to present a united front to the terrorists we are fighting in Iraq. Each and every time a opposing opinon is aired on the news, more violence follows. And it will continue to be that way because they are testing us. They are testing our resolve. And we are failing every test. Continue to fail to back our President, and the same will continue to happen.

Some of the Democrates seem to think that there is some sort of "political" solution to the violence. What political soluction? Hasn't history taught us VERY well that there is no negotioating with terrorists?

OK, I issue a challenge: For those of you who think that there is a political solution to the problems in Iraq, I invite you to go to Iraq, unarmed and try to negotiate peace. Good luck finding the proper folks to talk to in the first place and even better luck getting your "point" across. Oh, and by they way, don't come back until you have acheived your goals. Barring that, sit down, shut up and do your job as an American and back your President 100%!!

I can't beleive that folks would knock the news media for yesterday's coverage of the big rig chase. I think that the entire point of the coverage was missed especially by the idiots who just had to go and see it for themselves. The point of the coverage was to keep people AWAY from a potentially dangerous situation. The man had a GUN for crying out loud!! It turned out peacefully, but it could have very easily been otherwise. Someone asked why the news media would "glorify" people behaving so stupidly. I think the better question is why would the idiots who went to go look, which the media said again and again to stay away, be cheering on this man???? This guy had already forced the poor lady truck driver to ram a police car, a violent act. Do these morons not realize that they very well could have egged this guy on to commit even more violent acts?? Thank goodness it did not turn out that way. I think the media should turn over copies of any and all film that shows the morons faces so they can be prosectued for the crime THEY were committing: Interferring with a police investigation. They guy might have stopped the chase if he didn't have his very own "fan club" cheering him on.
