Construction crews assigned to building the extension of Woodall Rodgers over to I-30 can't buy a break. The project is way behind schedule (no fault of theirs) and to make matters worse, a "must have" part of the Trinity River project might be delayed as well. If you missed it on Good Day this morning, here's the rest of the story:
AN ITALIAN COMPANY IS BEHIND SCHEDULE... DELIVERING STEEL FOR THE "MARGARET HUNT HILL BRIDGE."
THE BRIDGE IS ONE OF THE MOST VISIBLE PARTS OF THE PLANS FOR THE TRINITY.
THE DELAY WILL PUT THE BRIDGE ABOUT A YEAR BEHIND ITS SCHEDULED COMPLETION DATE ... OF MID 2010.
So what do you think? Will these bridges ever be built?

Welcome to the chopper zone! If you're new to the area let me introduce myself. My job for FOX 4: Be the eyes that guide you to the traffic troubles around the Metroplex! I'm a Texan through and through--born in Austin, raised in North Texas with a degree from TCU. My wife and I have been married for 12 years and we have 2 kids. I love playing golf and watching all sports. I also like to sing and play guitar. My secret goal? Someday I'd love to build my own golf course....but having the ability to retire on one would be great too! If there's anything I can do to help you plan routes through this busy part of Texas please let me know and as always: have a "Good Day!"
