29 February 2008...who has a birthday on Leap Day?  Do You?  Know anyone who does?

I knew a girl in middle school and she would alternate celebrating her natal day on the 28th of Feb. or the 1st of March..that is until her TRUE birthday came around.

I was chatting w/ my Newsroom Neighbor Steve Noviello about Leap Day. The UBER FRIEND that he is..he looked up some celeb Leap Day birthdays:

JaRule...Antonio Sabato, Jr.,...Dennis Farina & Dinah Shore

If this is your Leap Day Birthday...have a Happy B'Day!

It's suppose to be bad luck to get married on leap day. I was surprised to find out that the reason we have a leap year is due to Julius Caesar

well it is his calender :

"The Julian calendar was introduced by Julius Caesar. In the Julian calendar, the tropical year is approximated as 365 1/4 days = 365.25 days. This gives an error of 1 day in approximately 128 years. The approximation 365 1/4 is achieved by having 1 leap year every 4 years."

and that's your history lesson on this first day of March , now onto something about lions and lambs
