Last week I shared my Meatloaf & USAFilm Festival evening with you. The USAFFalso honored Texas native Rip Torn the same evening and Stephen and I were his hosts.  As you can see Mr. Torn's a sharp-dressed man and a guy with a great sense of humor.- He was absolutely delightful. It was terrific spending time with him. Rip has been an actor on stage, tv and film for almost 50 years. He was the subject of a "Tribute to Rip Torn" at the Angelika/Mockingbird as well as a q&a with the audience.  His new movie "August" was also screened that night.   The USAFF also screened his 1984 movie "Songwriter" with Willie Nelson and Kris Kristoferson.

One of my favorite actors, capable of great histrionics and great restraint.

Mr. Torn's looking very well! Wow, is he snazzy! Love the cowboy hat.

Also, you and Stephen look very well, I work with a guy who went to high school with Stephen.

God Bless!
