Fellow Bloggers: You all know I am bedbound(Well at least those that know me) and I was looking threw my old photos and I started to Remember the Fight nights at the old worn out building in Dallas in a pretty ruff part of town.. Induserial Dr. I Remember RAIN, SLEET,or snow If the VonErichs was there you could have bet your sweet a-- I was there too in the front section no doult about it, if I couldnt get in the front section by the end of the night I was I was!!Being so small and know by knowing all the refs and guards they wouldnt notice me anyway and if they did they didnt say nothing because they would say there she goes and you cant STOP her. Those guys was my HEART ... Sure, I know it is all a act now, But they made my week! After, A hard week I could go to the fights mingle with friends and Family.. Well,Last week(Saturday, I think) I saw the OLDEST and ONLY remaining Boy lefted on TV, KEVIN and OMG he has changed, Looks older and tired his life has been awful, Poor guy, LOSTED his WHOLE FAMILY(Kerry,David,Mike and Chris and The one and only FRITZ)Oh, of course they all had wifes and childern and they are all grown in fact Kevin was talking about his Son Ross playing for the Denton Ryans and OMG that boy is just like his Daddy, Head strong!! I just wanted to share with all of you today and explain Why I posted Kevins?Kerrys pictures.. AND Just keep the VonErichs alive cause when I here the song LA GRANDE By ZZ-TOP ILL always REMEMBER them and How they made my week .... I LOVE YOU STILL....... Back in 1983 I had the fortunate opportunity of meeting Kevin Von Eric, when he came to Hawaii with the now defunct WCW.My Security team had to escort him to the ring. He was very candid and very personable,easy going and a great Texas sense of humor. There are a lot of wrestlers in the WWE by the way that are from Texas. Yeah I know it's all a show but they do bleed,trust me!

YES, THEY DO!!! I KNEW THEM PESONALILLY I KNEW WHERE EACH OF THEM LIVED AND TODAY I WOULDNT BE IN THE SHAPE I AM IN TODAY IF IT WASNT FOR KEVIN HE WAS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE GUY!! Kevin pervented me from commiting sucdide(HOWEVER SPELLED) back in the 80's and I have tons of pictures anyone want to share with me? Email them to Jn9pm@aol.com THANKS

Texmex: Thanks\ Heart breaking, Hu? Makes you really think about why someone would take their own life... With All the Stress and BS This world throws at you its a wonder that I havent done it my self. When I am really DOWN and OUT I think of My Guys and that makes me STTTTOOOOPPPPP and THINK Why?? Pam your not having it so bad at u? Then I think where would Cuejoe be without his Mommy! And Believe me when I say that I think about it ALL the time and GOD knows it just isnt worth it ):

Can so totally relate to the good old days of wresting...I too use to go as a kid...but get this, my dad use to wrestle and my mom dated Fritz in High School. We use to go every week, even after my dad quit doing it...remember Billy Red Lyons? The Spoilers and their manager? Boy, such good memories...I could go on and on but won't cuz I just want to say thanks for a great post as I loved those days back then....see ya.

Cuejoe I enjoyed reading your post. We all need our memories. I'm not a wrestling fan but I do remember the Von Erics. They were big in Dallas and around the world.

Keep your chin up and do like Keller said put your troubles in Gods hands. He will help you all the way.

I am a divorced/taken white woman, I have abot 2/3 of cherokee indian in me. I live on Cedar Creek Lake in the East.I was raised in the Dallas metroplex and I went to school at Lee Britian,Bowie Jr high, and Nimitz High School(1979 was last year) in Irving. I was in ROTC at Nimitz and I am hoping to meet some old classmates.I love dogs(raise chihuahuas and Minn Pinns).My childern are grown and each one of them are somebody I have a Teacher,A Policeman and a full time Enlisted Marine whos in Iraq.In Oct2006 I became a Grandmother for the first time. I love to give advice and a great listener. I love my FOX and I watch everyday.
