My friends, be prepared to be very, very irritated!

Subject

Remember the election in 2006?
Thought you might like to read the following:
A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!
Remember it's Congress that makes law not the President. He has to work with what's handed to him.

Ever heard of a non sequitur? Without bothering to read every word of your exhaustive post (figured I would link it for you here), what is the point of rehashing how screwed up Bush is? We get it! We understand Bush scrooged up! We also understand that certain elements of the media fell down on the job. That is why the media is now covering up so much for Obama.

How do you like them apples? I love non sequiturs...

My apology Marks I was trying to see how people added "stuff" to the comment section so I tried to copy and paste an e-mail to see if that would work...it did.( I don't know how to delete yet.)
I wouldn't bad mouth Bush it is the 2006 Democratic Congress I have issues with.
Can you delete my non-sequiturs entry???

I apologize, Lazylady, but your post was not part of my issue. My primary problem was with DDawg's use of HuffingtonPost as a credible, indeed "impartial" source...I can safely say "NOT"...

Oh good Marks as you can see I not only don't know how to delete I apparently can't read too well either.

I'm sorry you feel that way Marks, but I simply posted it as a good read. I don't think I implied anything close to it being a "credible, indeed "impartial" source".

It is quite simply one man's opinion, and I found that opinion interesting to read. I don't even agree with all of it.

Chill dude!

DDawg, I wonder sometimes why I come back in here because when you put real facts on here from a very credible sources such as TheRawStory.com, HuffingtonPost.com, or mention anything from Keith Olbermann on here, all these folks hear in their heads is "blah blah blah blah". I wasn't able to read that because the link didn't exist any longer but I'll tell you this, the 28% of the braindead on here who still think that Bush isn't a war criminal who should be tried for treason is just plain hopeless. Bush and Cheney can do no wrong on here. They can strangle babies and they would be able to spin it into acceptance. DDawg, WE know the truth and that is what matters.

With all due respect to Flipnotic; HuffPo and Olbermann are not even close to mainstream opinion - not to mention media - which I expect is the very reason Flipnotic sees them as credible. I do not view Limbug or O'Reilly as credible because they are not mainstream either. There is a very thin line between opinion and fact on this internet, and Flipnotic fits the fever swamp aspect perfectly.
