Not only is forgiveness something we are called to do as Christians (Matt 6:14-15, Luke 17:3-5, Psalm 51), but it is by far one of the most important ways to live a happy and contented life. Holding on to anger does nothing to hurt the other person, as forgiving them does nothing to free them, but it does free you from the weight of holding onto that anger and resentment.
With that said: I forgive my brother M. for everthing he has done that resulted in hurt or anger. I forgive the lady that cut me off this morning on the way to work that was talking on her cell phone and not paying attention. I forgive the resident that came into my office today and took their bad day out on me by screaming at me angry because they will be late on their rent and I can't waive their late fees. I forgive my best friend who seems to always need me to talk to, but rarely listens when I need it. I forgive my neighbor who never picks up his dog poop that is left right outside my patio. I forgive the bloggers on this site that think homosexuality is a choice even though their opinion is not based on fact, reality or even the bible. I forgive myself for not being perfect, for being a sinner just like everyone else, and for occasionally letting the ignorance around me push my buttons.
Whew! That felt great!
The Four (4) Religious Truths

During these serious times, people of all faiths should
remember these 4 religious Truths:
1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's chosen people.
2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of
the Christian world.
and finally....
4. Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters.
With all the seriousness that usually goes on regarding differing religious views, I thought it would be nice to have a laugh. Hope you found the humor in this!

Lost vs. Gays

Looks like he's at it again. Copying and pasting something written by someone else in order to make himself feel good about his position against homosexuals. And of course he is blocking comments so only those that agree with him can get through. Even I am not this obsessed with getting my point across.
What kind of an ego stroke does he actually get from this? What kind of affermation other than having like-minded people say like-minded things? What kind of a man can't handle an oppossing opinion? Why on earth is he so OBSESSED with this?
I'd like to know what you think, I will reserve my comments for later.
Feel free to leave your comments for him here since he will doubtfully let them on his.
Lost buddy, feel free to say whatever you want, I am happy to allow your opinion on my blog, esepecially since this relates to you directly.
Prayer for my "little"

As some of you may know I am a Big Brother. My "little"s mom called me today to let me know he will be going into the hospital on Monday for a round of tests for brain tumors.
He has been having night terrors, and the doctor suspects seizures as well, and he has lost a lot of weight and won't eat due to constant headaches. He understands he is ill, but he is scared about the tests.
Your prayers for his strength and a good diagnosis (one that does not include tumors) would be greatly appreciated!

HETEROSEXUALITY IS A SIN!

As a Christian I feel it is my duty to inform those of you misguided, and misinformed sinners that if you are a heterosexual you are going to hell unless you repent from your sinful ways.
The bible is quite clear that the only form of sex that is acceptable is between a married couple that are pro-creating, missionary position only of course. If you are guilty of any of the following you must repent:
- Thinking about sex
- Fantasizing about sex
- Having sex even with your spouse for pleasure
- Lusting after anyone including your spouse
- Looking at nudity (that includes partial nudity in R rated movies and tv)
- Women- wearing makeup or a dress cut above the knee or with a low neckline
- Men- wearing tight pants or going shirtless (women especially can't go shirtless)
- Reading Vogue if your a man, GQ if your a woman
- and God help you if you masturbate, your going to hell doused in gasoline
And please all you heterosexuals, stop throwing your sexuality out there in public, its disgusting. I don't want to see you wearing your thongs in public in front of my kids with your big hair and all that makeup, or kissing each other, or holding hands, its just plain gross. My children deserve the right to be raised around normal people, and you people are not normal you are sick.
I know we are not supposed to judge one another, but I am called as a Christian to constantly remind you that you are going to hell unless you repent from your sinful ways.
