As I understand, the kids are in state custody and she won't be seeing them any time soon. Kids need their parents, but NOT when they try to murder them. Poor babies... I hope they find a loving home with sane ppl.

Im with you with the 2 million bond...But most likely the reason the Judge set it so High(or should I say not enough)was becuase they knew it would be hard for her to raise the Funds to get a Bond.So that way she will keep her azz right where she needs to be......LOCKED UP. I for one hopes she get a hell of a Lot of Jail time. She doesnt even Need to breathe the Same air as those little ones do,or anybody else.

Trust me, she needs 10% of 2 mil or $200,000 cash/assets to bond out of jail. I don't see that happening. Actually, most murderers receive much lower bonds. The DA must have asked the court for a higher bond because of two things: 1. her previous record; and 2. her flight risk.

I can't help but roll my eyes to hear about that psyco b* of a "mother", for lack of a better word. I hope she goes crazy in Lew Lew. They will make her thier b*!

She should get a simple sentence. A 22 to the base of the skull.

I'm on the same jury as moankie

she will never be able to raise the money to get out on bail

There should be no bail for her to raise. A simple 22 to the base of the skull. Especially with her long police history. Just think how many millions this idiot is going to cost the tax payers. From the initial 911 call to probably supporting her kids for their entire life.

Moankie, I understand your anger and frustration. However, at her age, IF she stays in prison for the next 40 years, the total cost of her confinement will be approximately $1,300,000. That is a lot of money.

By the way, a lot of men and women who have sensational cases like this are separated from the main prison population for their safety.

Right, $1,300,000. A bullet cost less than 10 cents. While we are spending that on this scum, we can't afford to pay better CPS officers or provide for our elderly. Where is the sense in that?

I just hope that she doesn't go with the "insanity" defense and gets a free ride in some mental institution.

The insanity plea is a load of crap. If you are a scumbag it is already established that you aren't right. But that doesn't mean you should be able to harm children or other innocent people. I think head doctors are as wothless as defence lawyers and judges.

The insanity defense is near insane to employ. Were I on the defense it would be because I was appointed, not because I wanted the case. In that case, I'd plea down and hope for the best. This woman will do a lot of time, probably no less than 20 years flat time, plus parole.

Moankie, again, I hear what you're saying but this isn't China or Iran. We don't kill everyone who breaks the law or with whom we disagree with. Sometimes I believe we need to to send a message.

Right, here we defend the rights of murders, rapists, thieves and child molesters to ply their trade. While we stomp on the innocent. Scum in jail get better medical coverage than my mom can get. And all for free.

If you ever see me around town you will know its me. I have the white truck with the sign on the back that says "God Save Us From Lawyers, Judges And Other Criminals."

Moankie, you use too much hyperbole. How do we stomp on the innocent?

Trust me, we get offers everyday from inmates wanting to sue TDCJ and the state for the medical care.

A study done found sexual deviants, psychos and other no goods that were doctors and nurses with UTMB and employed by the state.

Juyst don't drink and drive, or do anything wrong, else you'll find yourself among them.

I think the worst punishment for this youn lady is the Fact, "She did not die!' She has to live with her hatefull act of trying to murder her very own kids. And the worst part, is that the kids will one day become adults. They will investigate, Who was my mom? They will find out in the future. While they are growing up, she will be have experienced the worst prison on earth, YOUR CONSCIENCE! Whether the Bond was set at 2 million dollars or 2 dollars, is not the punishment. The punishment remains in the heart of man. To put a 10 cent bullet in her skull is only completeing her mission, to escape life through death.

The criminal gets free housing, free food, the best medical care ever. The victim gets charged for the medical care after he has been beaten. His home may be robbed of everything. Its his problem to replace it. The criminal gets out after a short time to do it again. Tell me you honestly feel the victim has all the rights. Honestly tell me most crime is not commited by repeat offenders. Honestly tell me that the "CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM" DOES NOT MEAN JUSTICE FOR THE CRIMINAL.

Moankie, the medical care is NOT good, it is approaching 3rd world. I kid you not. Inmates that are convicted and cause a financial burden pay restitution to the victim(s). Moankie, you are out of touch with HOW the Criminal Justice system works. May I encourage you to investigate it yourself rather than listen to 10 second sound bites on TV?

I wish that for one year every rape, murder, child abuse and molelesting, beating, and robbery would be against an immediate family member of a judge or lawyer. "TELL ME THE LAWS WOULD NOT CHANGE VERY QUICKLY" I had a lawyer tell me he switched to prosecution after his mom was raped and he saw the treatment she got compared to the rapist.
