Blog Stalkers -- by Douglas ChickBlogging is short for web logging. Blogging is a forum where people post personal thoughts, web links, and opinion…but mostly opinion…a lot of opinion. If you are reading this, you are reading my blog. Once a blog is posted, it is up to its readers to qualify it as truth, lie, or opinion. There is generally a healthy exchanged of idea’s, sometimes followed by a somewhat heated debate of ideology, and in many cases it becomes personal.

Blog Stalkers, or blog bullies are bloggers that attack every post, fill the blog with page after page of almost incoherent ranting, (mostly angry rants regarding liberals or Bush/Cheney being Satan) and frightening away others from posting their opinions because they don’t want to be attacked, or worse…

Fox has 31 blogs in 31 cities. I have visited and read the posts of all 31. And in every city there is always one or two “Blog Stalkers” that control the mood of these websites, beat down its readers, and bully their opinions until their victims do not want to post anymore. Most blog stalkers or blog bullies use pictures of the flag, an eagle or a gun as their icon. I spoke with one Fox reporter who told me that they have ejected many blog stalkers, but only to see them return under yet another anyonomous name.

What has been your experiences with Blog Stalkers?

My stalker/alter terrell_trash_mouth is just a dweeb in need of a personality so i'm not very afraid of him/her. i laugh it off and that's about it. I've seen some tho that post others personal info on the blogs..that is scary to me. Oh yea...i almost forgot..i did have one man give my first name to everyone. oh well...dweebs come in all sizes and shapes

OMG, LOL, if you only knew.

It went from annoying to a little scary: vile name calling, threats, posting blog after blog on my on-line "activities" & comments, insulting/degrading pictures regarding my 'avatar', 'following' me from comment to comment, looking for me (or others) in other blog forums, posting personal personal information/pictures, setting up bogus accounts,posting email addresses. (this has not all happened to me, but other females I know).

p.s. 'snap dragon' is one of the offenders. There's a long list of them though... those who create & recreate, multi-times, new ID's for the sole purpose of harassment of others. And honestly, MANY bloggers have left Fox for this very reason... the nasty bullies.

Your very first comment is one you speak of. Someone who likes to stalk, harass and bully other bloggers. (Mainly women) Then cries foul when the women fight back.

We have several on here. Stick around long enough you will learn who he is and all his alternate names.

As he himself stated, he does it because it's fun and he wanted to destroy the person. (Me)

Why would a complete stranger want to destroy another? Is it a control thing and he will never be able to control the female on the other side of his screen?

As far as the avatars go, there is a victim on this site that uses an Eagle and the bully uses a wild west gun slinger.

But the pearl of the ocean is a female very senior citizen (Clairoland DuPont have not beenable to provide any help) in search of a man who has left public blogs stating such all over the internet and then when anyone comments on her public statements screams "stalker"

Lmao lmao magazine subscriptions, lol that's a good one. I don’t mine the bullies or whatever you want to call them. Most people in here know who the stalkers are, and the idiots. And if you don’t you soon learn by reading their post or blogs. Most of them have nothing to say to defend themselves, that’s why they are so quick to point out misspelled words or bad grammar. I love to misspell words in here because it drives these anal nightcrawlers crazy.

Please, if you blog you learn to take the idiots that come along with a grain of salt. Everyone is going to offend someone at sometime, no getting around it. If they didn't we would live in a perfect world and how BORING would that be?! Those that cyber-stalk or harrass are simply showing they really DON'T have a life. [shrug] If they did they would find better things to do with that time.
