Old FoolsWatching and listening to John McCain on the campaign trail, shadows that of a doddering old fool that is out of touch with a world. With his comments on the war, economy, healthcare and fuel prices, raises the question; “Which America does he live in, the America of the powerful and privileged, or the America that the rest of us live in?” He admits he doesn’t know anything about the economy, you know the very thing that collapsed the Soviet Union. He has no personal experience regarding healthcare, as tax dollars has been paying for his healthcare since the day he was born in a naval hospital. His only real calm is his military experience is Vietnam. It wasn’t his military superiority that elected him Senator, but the pity of being a POW.

Fear of terrorism is what re-elected George Bush, and John McCain is “Capitalizing” on the same fear to elect him. Can America survive 8 more years of foreign / corporate lobbying and the fleecing of the American people? I don’t think so. We need a president that protects America’s interest first, and the rest of the world’s investment into corporate America second. Allowing internal and external markets to take over our sovereign nation is the same as opening our doors to the enemy.

McC maybe a "doddering Old Fool" but that's superior to an arrogant, & uniformed ole Marxist.

I don't think he's a doddering old fool but he is out of touch. My parents are older than he and still sharp but I wouldn't want either of them in the Whitehouse.

So, Chick, who you gonna vote for? You say someone that puts the American people first. Obama is certainly putting Americans last by undermining our current President as well as our Armed Forces. Are you voting libertarian? Please, do tell!!

Well, Obama does have plenty of experience in determining our national Drug Policy, because he has used most of it himself.
He and Michelle probably still smoke a little marijuana now and then.

so if mccain has lack of experience, does that mean obama is still on the nipple? I mean, a few days in Washington certainly qualifies him on running our country lol.
And our doors are already open...you know, letting more people in illegally....it began way before bush came into office. more should be done about getting illegal people out of here. I would not doubt one bit if Bin Laden was hiding in our country. It would be a great place to hide.
I'm curious, are you saying our military and their families should not have healthcare?
I don't know about you, but I think all the money in the world will do you no good, if you are scared to death to walk outside of your home for fear of being attacked by a suicide bomber. you take the money, i'll take peace of mind knowing my family is a little more safe under someone with a little more military experience and knowledge.
so i see, just what you are talking about mccain-being all about money and wealth...and yet that is YOUR concern more than the physical & emotional safety of our country. Isn't that a bit hypocritical? Bashin McCain for what you believe he believes, but in fact, it's your beliefs. lol.

well, My grand dad farmed His own farm till he was 72, and was pretty active physically and mentally , and was a dyed in wool Democrat , but I think at this point He may be turning over in His grave at what the Demoratic party has become, even 50 years ago it was not like it is now , they call it progress, but they seem more regressive all the time, they want to take us back to when we were under rule of a King .

An old fool that has more knowledge in his little finger than Obama has in that big empty head of his. MMMM Let’s see, Obama, tax this, tax that, don’t drill for oil, pull troops out when we are winning and forget the fact that he and his wife are racist. Yep, Obama sounds like a real winner, lmao lmao.

He supported and was right on the surge. We have Iraq licked.

Show us where he is wrong on the economy, Chick. Let's see some facts, not babbling from the left.

He's right on healthcare. You want socialism, move to Canada.

I'm fed up with you sissified liberals, ever demanding, demoralizing and dead set on defeating this country.

You and your ilk disgust me.

I'm getting sick of people calling him old. This is just a cheapshot to compensate for the lack of legitimate criticism. He's still sharp as a tack. Listen to an Obama clip and count all the "ahs", "ums", and "ers".

These Obamites are following this clown like he's the neo-Messiah. Nothing could be further from the truth.

It was not the fear of terrorism that helped President Bush be re-elected, it was the fact that terrorism was being directed toward the United States and President Bush took action to prevent further attacks on American soil. In case you have not noticed, there have been no attacks on American soil since September 11, 2001.

You are correct in saying that we need a President who will put America's interests first. Senator McCain has been putting America's interests first all of his adult life.

Regarding age. When you are trying to make an important decision, do you seek advise from an adult or a child?

shhhh ivyman, don't say that too loud. the obama camp is probably watching...or the media, and some attack might happen here in the U.S., just to make obama look good and McCain look bad. Somehow the media will put a spin on it that it was all Bush's fault anyway.

Superman, you should have used The New Yorker as the magazine cover.

Kestrel, if someone dies as a result of the hurricane, you can bet President Bush will be blamed.

What can I say, Chatterbug. I'm just a doddering old fool.

Bush planned and orchestrated Katrina and kept the mayor and governor from evacuating Louisiana so blacks would die and be unable to vote Democrat.
