How many people are paid to “guess”?

More winter weather? Two snowstorms in one week?? WOW! Where is that global warming? LOL. Another COLD rain is on the way today as temps drop into the 30s this afternoon. Temps will continue to slowly fall through the evening hours, eventually hitting the point where the rain changes to SNOW from Northwest to Southeast. Snowfall could be heavy for a few hours this evening...ending around or shortly after midnight. Heaviest accumulations will occur NORTH and Northeast of the Metroplex...where 2"-5" may fall.  In the Metroplex, amounts could total between an inch or two. MOST of this will be on the grass and on cars...but temps will be close to FREEZING Friday AM, which could lead to icy BRIDGES and OVERPASSES.

Stay tuned to FOX4 for further updates....

Evan, I have to go to work tonight. I am VERY afraid to drive in weather like this! VERY AFRAID! I don't want to get "caught" at work Friday morning and there's ice on the bridges and overpasses.

After the snow ceases to fall, how likely is it that Friday morning will be a freeze?

Very Likely...

Somewhat likely...

Not likely...

I hate this kind of weather. I am AFRAID to drive in this weather. I can't stand to drive in heavy rain, much less snow and ice! It's hard to see pockets of water and patches of ice at night. I need constant reassuring. I think I have developed a phobia.

*sigh* I can already feel my palms beginning to sweat.

I'm off to bed. I'll check your post for a reply when I wake up later this evening. Don't laugh at me either. I'm really scared!

Hahahaha!

Have a great wet, snowy, icey (?) day!

I live on 287N before you get to Rhome!! There is no sleet here!! All snow. Earlier it was melting when it hit the roads and driveways, now it is sticking to everything!!! How neat. I just watched the weather and the line where the sleet and snow change was way off!

I’m the guy who gets up at 3am to get the forecast on the air each morning on GOOD DAY! Other than being constantly sleep deprived and taking afternoon naps, there is life after TV! I spend most of my free time with my wife and best friend, Lori. She is an amazing woman who keeps me sane and gives me a dose of reality if I need it. She has stuck by me and my lousy hours for over 5 years and counting! During the school year I visit elementary school kids and teach them a few interesting tidbits about the weather. It makes me appreciate the teachers in our country. I spend the rest of my time trying to stay fit, cooking and trading stocks! I grew up with a father who is a CPA so I learned about the world of business and markets. I don’t like the term “day trader” but I am an active market “timer”. So I can tell you tomorrow’s weather forecast OR forecast for the trend in oil or the NASDAQ! I have a "teenager" and two "tweenagers" in our blended family. They help keep me "young". Well, at least they educate me on what it's like to be young!
