How many people are paid to “guess”?

Hail, Hail the storms are here! (well, almost)

Here we go again! More storm chances. You kinda figured that, right? It's late April...it's humid, and new programs are on at night! Must be time to break in! OK,seriously.

A front will drop onto the Red River tonight...with an isolated shower or storm....mainly North or East of the Metroplex. A strong disturbance will ride in tomorrow along the front with a good chance for storms in the afternoon and evening. The main threat is hail...and gusty winds. We get a break on Thursday, before the next front arrives later on Friday with more storms...and if it stalls, even MORE storms this weekend.

Time to earn our keep this week....AGAIN!

Evan,

'Preciate y'all keeping us safe - that's most important. Get so annoyed at those complaining that their program was interrupted: I WANT TO KNOW.

Only thing: why do many meteorologists say, when a warning is issued, to get to a basement - when none is available? THAT'S my pet peeve.

Still and all, thanks for keeping us safe, and let's pray an easier storm season - this one's wearing me out!!!

I’m the guy who gets up at 3am to get the forecast on the air each morning on GOOD DAY! Other than being constantly sleep deprived and taking afternoon naps, there is life after TV! I spend most of my free time with my wife and best friend, Lori. She is an amazing woman who keeps me sane and gives me a dose of reality if I need it. She has stuck by me and my lousy hours for over 5 years and counting! During the school year I visit elementary school kids and teach them a few interesting tidbits about the weather. It makes me appreciate the teachers in our country. I spend the rest of my time trying to stay fit, cooking and trading stocks! I grew up with a father who is a CPA so I learned about the world of business and markets. I don’t like the term “day trader” but I am an active market “timer”. So I can tell you tomorrow’s weather forecast OR forecast for the trend in oil or the NASDAQ! I have a "teenager" and two "tweenagers" in our blended family. They help keep me "young". Well, at least they educate me on what it's like to be young!
