Pictured here is Andy Jones holding up a t-shirt that University Democrats were selling outside the Student Union. Jones told us today that the organization has registered thousands of students and they can vote on campus in between classes.

say about Hillary.

outside encouraging students to get involved and vote regardless of which
candidate they vote for. Check out

We caught up with a group of high school students who were waiting in line to see Barack Obama speak. Their teachers told us that they were pleased the campaigns made it down to Texas and that the Lone Star state mattered. They said that if any candidate came to Dallas during class time they would find a way to get their students there. Listen to what one student told us.

...to Texas. Obama said that one way or the other Bush was coming back to Texas. For the first time today the Texans in this room booed.
Despite feeling under the weather, Obama has fired this crowd up and the excitement level in Reunion Arena is off the charts. He told the crowd about 10 minutes ago that it was okay to sit down.

The Obama campaign is taking the popular Texas two-step and changing the moves around.
The first step is voting.
The second step is caucus. The announcer told the crowd that they get to vote not once, but twice.
The Texas two-step is a dance with two quick steps followed by two slow steps. No one in this room plans on taking any slow steps. They are excited and ready to get this party started.
People are still pilling into the Arena.

We pulled up to Reunion
Arena around 8 a.m. this morning to find a line of supporters wrapped around
the arena. People have been waiting outside for hours. Mark and I went
to the front of the line, curious to see just how long you had to wait to be
considered the ‘first in line.’ The Dallas woman that was the first person in
line this morning assumed her spot in line at 4:30 a.m! She had her blanket and
was sitting on the ground. Check out Mark’s blog for some video to come soon of
why she came out so early!
There are thousands of
people here. I asked one Dallas Police officer if he knew how had any idea how
many people were here. He said that that was what they were trying to figure
out! He said somewhere around 15,000 but all he knew was that there had been a
steady flow of traffic for about two hours. The arena can seat up to 17,000.
The general consensus
outside of the arena is one of excitement and after coming inside myself this crowd is EXCITED. By
10:00 a.m. what used to be a long line had turned into a maze. People were not
only circled around the building but in the parking lot.
This crowd is ready and
fired up for Barack Obama who is supposed to take the stage at 12:00 p.m.

The confetti went everywhere and the crowd went wild as John McCain left the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua, N.H.

...History repeats itself.
The granite state rallied behind John McCain and went to the polls today to prove their support. Twelve minutes after the last polls closed in New Hampshire Fox News and other networks called New Hampshire for McCain.
In 2000, Arizona GOP Sen. John McCain beat then Gov. George W. Bush by an impressive 16 points. Tonight McCain has an 8 point lead over Mitt Romney.
Mitt Romney put a lot of time and money into both Iowa and New Hampshire and simply couldn't mobilize enough voters to seal the deal.
We spoke with one man who was undecided until he walked into a polling location on Elm Street in Manchester this afternoon. At the last minute, in his mind, he gave McCain the green light to lead.
This win gives McCain and his campaign momentum with South Carolina and Michigan just days away. After this win, all eyes are bound to be on McCain.
