We're bordering on two hours that we have been waiting in this high school auditorium. They finally let the crowd pour in and fill the rest of the seats, not occupied by the press.

A woman of Salem has just come to the podium and is giving the testamonial of her support for Obama. Up until a few months ago she was a card carrying Republican but the current administration changed her mind and now she supports Obama!. She just introduced him!

Got to go.

This Should Be Headline News In Every Paper and T.V. News Program

Click on the link below:
This is the web page for the church Barack Obama belongs to:
www.tucc.org/about.htm

Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity Church of Christ. I found this interesting.

Obama's church:
Please read and go to this church's website and read what is written there. I checked the church website and what I found is very alarming.
Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. No where is AMERICA even mentioned. Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join Obama's church... B-L-A-C-K!!! Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his (former?) Muslim upbringing. Are you aware that Obama's middle name is Hussein? Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his church! And possibly a covert worshiper of the Muslim faith, even today. This guy desires to rule over America while his loyalty is totally vested in a Black Africa! I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers. This is why it is so important to pass this message along to all of our family & friends. To think that Obama has even the slightest chance in the run for the presidency, is really scary.

this above comment was emailed to me, and I viewed the website, and it causes me some concern. I'm not sure what I believe about Obama, but it does make you think twice.

viejachula, I read the material in the link you provided. I could not find where it indicated that you had to be black to be a member. However, the rhetoric certainly espoused that it was a black church for black people. And, as you said, it mentions its loyalty (committment) to Africa and by its omission, not to the USA. This certainly bears close watch as time progresses.

someone posted that same link on one of my blogs. Personally NO he's not worth any wait. I would't vote on him even if the only other candidate was Kinky. I'd be hammering a Kinky sign in my yard

Hey you nut case viejachula, I know which web site you took this lie from. I am a member of that blog site.
First of all, do you think that nutty chic Hillary would leave this huge controversy alone, if there was a real truth to it??? How about media, you think media would keep this hidden if there were any substance to this right wing, fear mongering lie?
This is what the reply was on the blog you are trying to make it your own:
What the hell? So Obama, working on the south side of Chicago, a notoriously impoverished area with a high amount of blacks, joins a black church. In this overwhelmingly black area, the black church teaches its black congregation scary things like personal responsibility and commitment to God, family, and community.
And that makes Obama a racist. Oh yeah, a muslim racist.
Crawl back to your sewer.
Another one:
I really can't believe this thread. You should understand that I have been to services at Obama's church (I am not a member), I know several members of the church and there are white folks who are members of the congregation. Actually, the church has caused a revival of the neighborhood where it is located and took several years to build a new sanctuary. It is predominantly black bourgeois.
Those seeking to criticize Obama as to the church he attends are really grasping at straws. May we now deal with the issues in the campaign?

Try keeping the race card in your pocket, This is not a issue about race.Although Obama's church isn't for me, the basic tenets of his church are NOT rooted in any kind of Black supremacy or racism. The church asks its members to accept Christ; make the Black community more self-reliant, self-disciplined, faithful and prosperous without asking (begging) for white help or government help.

... things that scare the crap out of real racists.

I would think this is the kind of thing our "conservative" brethren would get all excited about...a church that preaches self empowerment to the Black community and dealing with the obstacles that life hits them with. I mean, isn't that what we always hear? "Get over that slavery deal and stop playing the victim card? Stop looking for handouts, this is America, not some socialist Commie place?"

Finally, You bytches need to stop with the lies. God gave you brain to think and think rationally. Don't try to pull things out of your azzz and make up stories just because you don't like Obama. Your vile, hateful lies would not go without challenged...Kapeesh!

Gurkha,
If you can calm down enough to read the first post, and then the one I put just below it, I clearly said that somebody sent that to me. I never claimed it was my own post. And it's sad that somebody of your supposed intellect can go around calling other people names. I suggest you find yourself a dictionary to fill that brand new brain you have. And the God I serve says that I must love even those who speak ill of me. I didn't make up any story. I just thought it was interesting. I even emailed Obama's church to see if a White or Hispanic can become "members", but they haven't emailed me back. Hope you have a better day tomorrow!
