Tonight we went to McCain's and Obama's rallies. My McCain's was in a small venue but there were lots of people there. We were all packed in tight like sardines. At the rally was on organization who promoted global warming iniciatives and an organization focused on education. McCain's crowed contained alot of older people but and people with children, but there were young adults and teens there too. Before McCain arrived. Tucker Carlson and Tim Russert rushed right passed us. We had to wait a while on McCain he arrived late. The people who were there to see him were very enthusiastic and giddy. Senator McCain did not answer any press question but he did shake hands and pleasantly greeted everyone. There was more press in the bigger room where he spoke

Next we went to Obama's rally which was held in a huge school gym. There was a ton of press there from national to student. The energy in the gym was amazing. Everyone was rooting and shouting for Obama. There we a lot of young people too. Obama's crowd was by far the most diverse of all of them. His wife Michelle spoke first introducing him and then Obama came up on the stage behind him was stand of young supporters. We ran into George Stephanopoulous and spoke with him briefly. Stephanopolous spoke at SMU in September. He said the entire thing was chaos and didn't really have any advice for us except to have fun.

I wonder if McCain's rally was held in a larger venue if there would have been even more energy and excitement in the room. Overall I have to say I really enjoyed my time at both rallies.

Jia: Good post! Some advice...Make sure you do spell check and grammar check. When I write a blog, I write it on word first so I can make all the corrections and then trasfer that to this blog space.
I am glad that you could get to listen to Obama...that's a history making event you just participated in. Where ever Obama goes, he attracts lots of crowd from all demographics.
I think the reason why McCain's rally was not held in a larger venue was because he could not pack the place like Obama.

Or maybe McCain doesnt have the CASH like RON PAUL does for a bigger venue?

When does the media report on the amount of contributions for the 4th quarter?

Oh, they probably wont cuz RON PAUL raised the most in the 4th quarter and he did it with the largest number of supporters.

So RON PAUL RAISED 20 million in the 4th quarter, Huckabee raised 4 million.

So come on people, do the math, the gov hasnt dumbed you down that much have they???

Enemy: I like Ron Paul BUT he needs to get the hell out of that Repubics bunch and truely represent who he is...a Liberatarian! I hope he runs as a third party candidate even if he loses the primaries.
Are you BSing or did he really raise 20MM?

No BS, he raised 20 million. (19,765,973.77)

And so far in 2008 he has raised 108,484.41

We had a "money bomb" on dec 16th and we raised 6 million alone in 24 hours.

http://www.ronpaul2008.com/

check it out, its so crazy cuz the news wont report on the fundraising now cuz dr paul beat them all.

And it was from people not lobbiest.

Obama is dick cheney's cousin for God sakes.

How is that possible?

And they just claimed to figure that out a few months ago and david letterman confirmed it on his show with obama.

Thats how badly they have the deck stacked.

Kerry is bush's cousin too, and both of them are hugh heffners cousin.

...... Best of all, Giuliani married his cousin and it took him 10 years to figure it out he said.

Hey Gurkha,
I wonder if these FOX smu and others who posted these blogs are gunna respond or if these posts are all blind plants to persuade public opinion?

Dont get me wrong, these new world order minions are very intelligent and know all the tricks in the book.

Its very curious that they all created their account today and FOX "features" their posts immediately and censors mine.

So far I havent seen on of these FOX U reporters respond in their blogs.

There is a war on for your mind.

Enemy: If someone does your geneology, they will probably find that you are related to someone in Nepal...Ultimately we are all related...But Obama and Cheney are two from two different extremes...Obama on the good side vs. Cheney on the devil's side.

I like McCain ,you get the sense that the guy really knows what is keeping this world glued together. On Obama. That's all great if you want to see a rock star with the excitement ,energy and all the good emotional feelings. I like to think I am a smarter voter than the rock star or star struck voter. The presidency is about keeping our society and the world glued. If I wanted that kind of excitement (the obama rally) ,I would go to a U2 concert. Also , Enemy_combatant would you hush up about that lunatic! The guy acts like he is 2 days form being committed

Obama is likable, i think under Obama all the acceleration on tyranny will slow down.

But Obama is like the jedi knight with 2 names, lord tryanis i think he was called.

The police took my star wars dvds so i havent watched in awhile.

The jedi who tried to turn obi wan,

as senator obama has basically just run for president, senators dont do anything really except vote on things.

Obama should try to be a mayor 1st and learn how to run a city before a country.

Obama has a long future, but he isnt in control of his own destiny like ron paul is.

Like its smart to get a puppy before you have a kid.
Run a city before you run a country in a war.

McCain is too old to be president.

Obama will NOT pledge to our flag, which as a veteran is upsetting to me.
