Cuba is the first topic?

I don't think anyone could have predicted that Cuba would be the topic of the first 5 minutes of the debate...at least no one in the press room we are in right now.
And there were clear differences - Hillary wouldn't unless certain demands were met and Obama would with no pretenses.

One of the policies that has always irritated me is the notion that one nation can put demands on another nation. As much as I hate what Iran stands for, the US has no business setting preconditions on an opportunity to discuss issues.

I'd be the first to say that talking is usually a futile exercise, but not talking is just stupid.
