I received this email today (the numbers are in regard to my last blog):

Thanks for starting your blog. I and the other Web producers are reading it.


1. I learned today while speaking with other Web producers across the FOX network that this problem is occurring with other users as well. The Fox Interactive Media team is investigating. Hopefully, we should know something soon. If you can take a screen grab of the error message before the window closes (I know this might be difficult) that will help us.


5. We have been asking our FIM developers for this feature for a while, and hope to introduce it over the next several weeks.


For issues 2-4, this is the first I’ve heard of those. Let me do some research and I’ll get back to you.

Hey Alfred,

I am having trouble loading a photo to my Avatar. I go through all the steps okay except when I get to the last step.

When I click on the upload button to send it to the Avatar, I get this message, "Your image cannot be exported because part of the box is outside the image."

This is not true. I know how to drag the corners and sides of the red box to make it fit the photo. I even have a photo which is larger than the red box and I center the red box on the photo and it still won't export. And what if the photo is smaller than the Avatar space, how can I make the photo fit the space?

Do you think I still have some bug attached onto my browser? Is it my security system or spam blocker, or what? Thanks for any help you can give.

Showdog - I have noticed a few that have issues getting avatars. As Alfred said, if you can try again, and take a screen capture. To take a screen capture.... do the following:

1. At the screen, hold down your "Shift" key, and hit the "Print Screen" button.

2. Open Microsoft Paint, or any other image program.

3. In Paint (or whatever imaging program), go to the "Edit" menu and select "Paste".

4. Save the image to your computer and email it to me at: InfectiousSense@gmail.com

I will forward all screen captures I get to Alfred.

By the way Fox4...

Can we please have a Politics page added to the forum? Like News, Weather, Sports, Entertainment...we NEED a Politics page!

With election time here and so much discourse with our government issues, it would be nice to have a Reserved place to talk about Politics.
MANY bloggers keep asking for this.

Please talk to the powers that be and get us a Political Page...politics are eating up the News page!

I logged onto the News Page to see all the most current news blogs, and for at least the first 2 pages, it's ALL politics! I can't find anything else BUT politics. I like to blog like everyone else about that, but I'd love to read something else in the news that ISN'T political debate.

I've seen ALOT of people put that exerpt in their blogs that they wanted a Politics page.

Adn what about page numbers at the bottom of those pages? That way we don't have to scroll back up to the top to change to the next blog page.

See!?! They got the other pages on here in personal blogs, why not on the main "News" blog or "weather" blog, etc...? That's so annoying to keep scrolling up all the time just to switch pages.

This is Infectious_Sense. I am not trying to hide my identity, I am simply trying to make it easier to report problems with the Fox4 Blog site - should they arise. We all had the whole refresh issue, which was fixed - but we really had no where to go for it! Well.... that is the purpose of this blog. There will be an open thread, all the time. I will forward problems, suggestions, etc. to Alfred Charles who is the senior web producer. This way, you can add it to your favorites, and can leave stuff here easily. I didn't know if I could post his email, since it is not on the site anywhere - I didn't want to "violate" anything.
