Obama's wife is just now feeling proud to be an American?  Why just now is she only proud when things are going her way?  I think our media needs to make as big of a fuss about this as they would if it were Cindy McCain that made that comment!  We need to keep a family that hasn't been proud to be Americans for the past 30-40 years out of the white house!

Now just because the Clintons are pimping their daughter out for Hillary's campaign and a reporter calls her out on it she gets offended.  Well I'd say that's her right, just as it's his right to make that statement however the Clintons have managed to get the reported suspended in what apparently is their fight against the freedom of speech!  it's also this type of anti-constitutionalism that needs to be kept out of the white house!

Obama's supporters say that isn't what she meant .... she's well-educated, and that's what she said .... period .... can you imagine this woman as first lady travelling abroad and making similar remarks? .... and Barack, not wearing an American flag pin because he's afraid it'll make some kind of statement .... hard to believe so many are falling for this pair of naive, anti-American fools .... and ironic that many support him just to keep the Clinton's out .... another pair of disingenuous fools .... the Bush hating era is clouding everyone's judgement .... but that will be over soon .... all need to get over it and think about the next 4 or 8 years .... they are in for some bad surprises if Obama gets in .... I can't stand Hillary either, but at this point would have more faith in her .... meanwhile, I plan on McCain .... at least he's a moderate and not anti-American .........

"hard to believe so many are falling for this pair of naive, anti-American fools"

Just as much so as those falling for the other three unamerican candidates....

I agree, Graywolf. Americans are being duped into voting what amounts to be Moe, Larry and Curly.

We're doomed.

A depression looms.

We're being invaded.

Cripes, I'm out of here.

LOL, what depression? How about when/if the yield curve inverts then you can talk about a recession until then stop repeating what you hear from some "expert" who has probably runs a fund that is short and wants a recession.
I see that with my accusations I at least provided some evidence to prove my point, you have an example of either of us being un-American? In fact I believe my complaint was the two democrats anti-American comments or actions? I suggest you get some facts before you attempt to label a veteran anti-American. As for McCain sure we know he's not the best but he certainly is the best of the three, at least he supports the constitution and our rights!

Jones, you don't even understand the Right of Eminent Domain, thus how would you understand economics?

I agree that McCain is the Moe of the three stooges, but wow, what a grand departure from the consevative mold.

I only work in management at a brokerage firm, so I guess I have no clue. and yes I fully understand the right of eminent domain, but I also have the intelligence to recognize when it's been abused!

Thanks for sarcastically admitting you do have no clue.

Were there a way to place online bets, I'd wager you a quarter that this country goes from a recession to a depression inside of 2-3 years.

I live in Arlington; do all my taxable shopping outside Arlington so my money doesn’t go to Jones. My lifelong dream is to see Jones pack his bags and go back to Arkansas, and as a bonus he'd take "Mayor Mc" Cluck with him though they'd probably kick'em both out of the state. I grew up a Cowboys fan but seeing Jones' willingness to sacrifice the class the organization once had do anything to win along with his ability to steal land just because he has more money has caused me to love to watch'em loose! May they never win another superbowl! ABC-Anyone But the Cowboys!
