I heard Osama Obama on the news today saying that of the 3 only 1 got it right when it came to the war in Iraq, insinuating it was he since he did not vote for the war, and to my understanding wasn't even there to vote thus did not vote against it either.  However I guess my question to him would be so, he believed that the people of Iraq do not deserve freedom, and that a dictator such as Saddam should be left in charge so that he can rebuild his WMD program as he admitted he was planning to do in an FBI interview after his capture.  So Mr. Obama when would be the time to go in after Saddam, after the WMD program was in full swing so that he could use them against our troops?  Fact is we have lost less than 4000 honorable men and women to date in a WAR lasting 5 years, but why don't we bring the light the 10,000 honorable men and women we lost during Clinton's 8 years in office without a war?

Everybody deserves freedom, but the US military isn't the world police. If all the oppressed people in the world are our responsibility, who's next? Perhaps Cuba, Korea, or show some real guts and let's help out our Chinese friends.

You have a lot of courage to talk about facts when you title your message "Osama Obama".

That kind of commitment to your beliefs is absolutely stunning and I think we all need to take notice. It's not every day that we see someone with such a blatantly narrow mind on something that they are actually attacking someone else on for statements made that are supposedly not factual.

Wow.

This is frighteningly dumb.

I appreciate the candor and open conversation. We need more people like you to make points like that.

The US, has lost 4000, men as of yesterday, in five years, we lost more than 38000, in Korea, in 3yrs and 58000, in viet nam in 10 yrs. I think we are pretty lucky so far for at least we have not turned it over to the enmy like we did in Korea and V.N.But if the Demos. get in we may yet turn it back to the enmy.

We lost over 3,000 on Iwo Jima in a month.

Obama is a threat to your pocketbook what with his Marxist ideology.

Obama wasn't present nor privy to National Security, closed door meetings, thus he did not have the information other leaders had.

Obama's cut and run policy is not conducive to sound military policy. If you get out of the mainstream media and delve into the real news, you will see that Al-Queda has been decimated and are on the run.

Notice you don't hear about the progress of the war? Why is that? It is because the surge is WORKING.

How on earth someone who calls Barack Obama, Osama Obama expects to be taken seriously about anything he says is beyond me.

I notice you didn't check the facts, DDawg. It's easier for you that way is it?

Your right scotty. Back then Americans were tough. Not so many pansies like now.

Moankie hit the nail on the head, Today we simply have too many Metrosexual pansies. They'd rather sing Kumbaya and deal with evil criminals than run a bayonet through their hearts; they'd rather bribe countries with taxpayer money than plan a beach assault on their unruly country; they'd rather we pass laws promoting evil than be called a bigot for standing up for truth, justice and what used to be called the American Way.

"We lost over 3,000 on Iwo Jima in a month."
So not losing 3000 in 1 month is good I suppose. This is the bar that we are grading by apparently.

"Obama is a threat to your pocketbook what with his Marxist ideology."
Take 1 part opinion and 1 part inflamatory statement. Stir occasionally. Makes 1 load of BLEEP.

"Obama wasn't present nor privy to National Security, closed door meetings, thus he did not have the information other leaders had."

Oh so there WAS some information that the decision to go to war was based on that was not fabricated. What was that exactly?

"Obama's cut and run policy is not conducive to sound military policy. If you get out of the mainstream media and delve into the real news, you will see that Al-Queda has been decimated and are on the run."

The Taliban is growing stronger by the day in Afghanistan and Pakistan... but as long as we beat them in Iraq then all is good ey?

"Notice you don't hear about the progress of the war? Why is that? It is because the surge is WORKING."

Question: What was the purpose of the surge? What are the military leaders saying now about the down scale that is supposed to take place this Summer? How do you define working let alone victory?

Any lives lost in a war is a shame, but to walk out now would mean they died for no reason. The famlies of loved ones killed over there would not want it to be for nothing. Their sons and daughters are heros in my book. The people over in the middle east are too easily led astray, so someone needed to help them get their heads out of the sand. It's just sad most of them are too dumb or scared to fight against people like Saddam.

LOL! Scotty you truly are a comic. Thanks! There is nothing "easy" about the current state of affairs in this country. We can argue facts all day long, and you can use whatever data you come up with to state your case. My comment was not about what was being said as much as how it was said.

I stand by my comments, and I won't bother trying to argue facts with someone who deems it necessary to throw out insulting names rather then be an adult about it.

Cy,

Go to the Taliban websites and see what THEY say themselves if you don't believe me.

Don't listen to CNN and the like!

Educate yourself from Muslim websites and people monitoring them!

I have plenty of links to choose from whenever you're interested.

Scotty...
Are you saying that you believe what Taliban websites have to say about this before you believe what multiple independent competeing news organizations have to say? What about Fox News. Aren't they "fair and balanced" ???

So I guess NBC,CBS,FOX,CNN,Reuters,The BBC and any other news agency that would not personally benefit from news stories with perspectives that have been skewed in their favor are wrong. After all, they must be. It's prolly a conspiracy or something I suppose. They are all trying to hide facts or make up facts about Iraq. Clearly that is the only thing that makes sense. I am obviously wrong.

Dude... seriously?

OK Scotty, since you are either not reading what I said or reading something into it that let me clarify.

"I stand by my comments, and I won't bother trying to argue facts with someone who deems it necessary to throw out insulting names rather then be an adult about it."

That comment was in regards to the initial commment I made to the blog, not directed at you or the comments you made. I did not take offense to what you said: "I notice you didn't check the facts, DDawg. It's easier for you that way is it?", although this was a more personal attack then it was a statement of your position on the original post or what I actually said to the poster:"How on earth someone who calls Barack Obama, Osama Obama expects to be taken seriously about anything he says is beyond me."

You, like a couple of other bloggers on this site, come across as very angry, hateful and judgmental towards those that do not believe the same things you do. I might suggest Jesus if you are a believer, Prozac if you are not, or a combination of the two to help you acheive some inner happiness. I also know of some homeopathic remedies if you are interested I can send you a link or two.

DDawg, just because I throw facts at you in a blunt manner doesn't mean I am angry. Don't be so sensitive.

Jesus? You think Jesus and his disciples were wimps? Not hardly. I have inner peace with Christ, but I am a firm believer in offense rather than defense.

Moreover, don't try to come across here as some paragon of virtue. I saw many of your comments on RnR. Don't make me call you out on that.

I live in Arlington; do all my taxable shopping outside Arlington so my money doesn’t go to Jones. My lifelong dream is to see Jones pack his bags and go back to Arkansas, and as a bonus he'd take "Mayor Mc" Cluck with him though they'd probably kick'em both out of the state. I grew up a Cowboys fan but seeing Jones' willingness to sacrifice the class the organization once had do anything to win along with his ability to steal land just because he has more money has caused me to love to watch'em loose! May they never win another superbowl! ABC-Anyone But the Cowboys!
