Our bloggers are doing great on the picks. We had a 4-way tie last week - with IKUSHNER92, RAMIREZL, STUDLEY, and PENTENUT all going 11-4! Nice job!! Doocy came in one game ahead of me this week at 10-5.

Have a great week - and get your picks in for Week 14 by noon Sunday! (Thursday night games do not count in the picks)

11-4, not bad for my first week here. Let's see if I can improve on that. It's not going to be easy, with teams' Injury Lists filling up with players this time of year.

New England
Kansas City
Atlanta
Washington
Indianapolis
Detroit (Upset of the Week)
Cincinnati
Carolina
Seattle
San Francisco
San Diego
N.Y. Jets

Sunday Night - Dallas

Okay, this one's actually too close to call, since both teams are mirror images of themsleves (which you would expect when a former Bill Parcells assistant is at the helm of a team).

Both teams have QB's on a hot streak (Romo and Brees) bend-but-don't-break defenses, and love to run the ball with the lead.

However, New Orleans WR Marques Colston, the clear favorite for Rookie of the Year, and WR Joe Horn, who is the emotional leader of the team, are listed as Questionable due to injuries. Colston suffered an ankle sprain in the loss to Cincinnati on November 19, and Horn re-aggravated a groin injury that had caused him to miss two complete games before last week.

The Saints' deep passing game with these two big-play receivers could have easily burned the Cowboys' porus secondary.

Reggie Bush is listed as Probable, after injuring his shoulder in that leap during the game with San Francisco last week. Hopefully it's not a factor, but when combined with the other injuries, it limits who the team can make the big plays with.

The Saints have various other players injured, while the Cowboys have no players on the Injury List.

In addition to the injuries, Saints DT Hollis "Tank" Thomas is serving a four-game

(Part 2)

In addition to the injuries, Saints DT Hollis "Tank" Thomas is serving a four-game suspension for violation of the league's substance abuse policy - his asthma medication (Advair) evidently has steroids in it, which violates the policy.

Monday Night - Chicago

Super Bonus Pick: Even though it won't count, I think Pittsburgh wins on Thursday.

I anchor the 6 and 9 p.m. news – along with my dear friend and "work husband" Steve Eagar. Together we have won Edward R. Murrow, AP, and Katie Awards (Thanks for carrying me, Steve!). And I won an Emmy for Best Anchor. But now I have a new role - Mommy! Jeff and I have two little girls - Emmy (Jeff said I have an Emmy - so he wants one, too!) and Lily Rae. The girls are 14 months apart so we definitely have our hands full! But it's wonderful!! I also want to tell you about my volunteer work - speaking to groups about suicide awareness. I lost my former fiance’ to suicide and recently published a book called "Surviving Suicide." You can find out more about that at www.heatherhays.com. Playtime is spent with the cutest chocolate lab ever, Rosco, and my amazing husband, Jeff - and of course, Emmy and Lily Rae. Thanks for checking in and have a great day!
