Just wanted to say "Thanks" to all of our bloggers who took part in our On-Line Picks competition this season. It was a great season - even if Doocy was crowned the FOX4 "Picks Champ" for the second year in a row. If you saw "Football Sunday" this morning, didn't he look great in his fluffy pink crown??

Have a very Happy New Year and safe New Year's Eve. See you next season on "Football Sunday." Meantime - GO COWBOYS!

What a disappointment! The Cowboys loose to a team with a 2-10 record. Just apsolutely sad!

I missed it! I was on my way to the game! Someone took pictures, right?

Thanks, Heather, for including us! Happy New Year!

BTW, tell Doocy he got beat by a girl! Through the 1st 16-weeks, I had 145 wins.

I'm extra happy because it means I also beat the guys on INFL, and most importantly, MY HUSBAND! *happy dance* 1st time in 5 years predicting w/ INFL & hubby that it's happened. Beating Doocy through 16 weeks is the icing! *giggle*

(Doocy was ahead of INFL hosts early in the season - their leader had 143 at the end of wk 16. I didn't think I would catch any of them; starting 6-10 is not good! LOL)

I anchor the 6 and 9 p.m. news – along with my dear friend and "work husband" Steve Eagar. Together we have won Edward R. Murrow, AP, and Katie Awards (Thanks for carrying me, Steve!). And I won an Emmy for Best Anchor. But now I have a new role - Mommy! Jeff and I have two little girls - Emmy (Jeff said I have an Emmy - so he wants one, too!) and Lily Rae. The girls are 14 months apart so we definitely have our hands full! But it's wonderful!! I also want to tell you about my volunteer work - speaking to groups about suicide awareness. I lost my former fiance’ to suicide and recently published a book called "Surviving Suicide." You can find out more about that at www.heatherhays.com. Playtime is spent with the cutest chocolate lab ever, Rosco, and my amazing husband, Jeff - and of course, Emmy and Lily Rae. Thanks for checking in and have a great day!
