Have you ever wondered what Steve Eagar is saying during the newscast -  when our mics are off but you can still see us talking? Have you ever wondered what Mike Doocy has on under the desk - shorts or long pants?  How does Dan Henry prepare his weather forecast? What do Baron's office and the edit bays look like??   :)  Well, now is your chance to find out the answers to those questions - and a whole lot more!

Tonight at 8:55 central - Steve Noviello begins our "All Access" programming - and he will follow what happens in the studio, the control room, and the newsroom (as well as other nooks and crannys of FOX4)  during the newscast. He will not only talk to the mangers, director, and producer, he will also talk to people roaming the halls of FOX4 (last night he got Clarice Tinsley to sing - maybe that will happen again!).

This is our chance to share with you - what we do every day. "All Access" - tonight beginning right before FOX4 News at 9. Watch us on TV - and online. Two different perspectives - one great product!

Oppss - I forgot to add - Steve Noviello's "All Access" can only be seen online tonight. So you need to be logged on to your computer! He will do a follow up story tomorrow night on FOX4 News at 9 - but for now - you have to log on to tune in "All Access."

I tuned into the e-mail part of the All Access and it was going so fast I couldn't read the messages. I must have done something wrong. I sounds like a very interesting event. Thanks anyhow.

Heather, a confession to make. When I first saw you and Steve on Fox 4 I got the distinct impression that you two were an "item". Afterall, you look perfect together, play off of each other SO well during a newscast and seem to genuinely enjoy one-another's company.

Then I checked out Steve's bio....and then your bio....and I sat here scratching my head.

And then, during the webcast, it became very obvious that you two have been the best of friends for a long time...thus, the reason for all of the above. Just another reason why the webcast was so good. We don't ever get to see you folks being "you". That was nice.

Because of the way they interact when that red light goes on, POV, I don't think I'm the only viewer who thought the way I did.

The just look like a natural "couple".

That's a rare thing these days; to have two personalities that blend that well. Usually one or both is so stuck on themselves that the combinations don't work. It is, afterall, a ratings game and they live or die by same. They either succeed together or go down the tubes together.

Baron and Clarice have the same type of thing going for them. It's just not as pronounced as Heather and Steve yet.

"Chemistry", I guess is what they call it.

I anchor the 6 and 9 p.m. news – along with my dear friend and "work husband" Steve Eagar. Together we have won Edward R. Murrow, AP, and Katie Awards (Thanks for carrying me, Steve!). And I won an Emmy for Best Anchor. But now I have a new role - Mommy! Jeff and I have two little girls - Emmy (Jeff said I have an Emmy - so he wants one, too!) and Lily Rae. The girls are 14 months apart so we definitely have our hands full! But it's wonderful!! I also want to tell you about my volunteer work - speaking to groups about suicide awareness. I lost my former fiance’ to suicide and recently published a book called "Surviving Suicide." You can find out more about that at www.heatherhays.com. Playtime is spent with the cutest chocolate lab ever, Rosco, and my amazing husband, Jeff - and of course, Emmy and Lily Rae. Thanks for checking in and have a great day!
