Watching the video of a little girl - who was perhaps given a hit of ecstasy - turned my stomach. It's not often that I get that "just hit the stomach feeling" when I do a story - but this one did it to me (maybe it's because I am a new mom and am looking at things a little differently now). But then I watched the video again - and things aren't so clear. What is really going on? Is a little girl being laughed at and teased by teens who gave her a hit of X - or is the little girl just acting - being silly and rolling her eyes back in her head? That's now up to the FBI and Harris County Sheriff's Deputies.

Here's some background for you... the 2 minute 28 second video clip hit the website "You Tube." It shows a little girl sitting on the floor of a van - rolling her eyes as someone squeezes her face and hits her on the head. You can hear laughter in the background and people say things like, "You shouldn't have popped the X. Stop rolling."

As of late today, all of the teens in the van have been found and questioned - and they say no drugs were given to the girl. CPS is investigating - because bottom line, the child was in an unsafe situation - no safety seat in the vehicle. And things could be even worse for the child... but that's up to authorities to decide.

The mother had a My Space account - on which she said the video was a joke. CPS confirms that account has now been made inactive.  Meanwhile, I think I will go home and hug my daughter a little closer tonight.

As a new Mother myself I completly agree. I see news stories almost everyday about how little children, even babies are neglected and mistreated in so many ways. How sad that the parents of those children fail to see what a true blessing from God their child is.

I watched that Video and it just made My Skin Crawl away from my Body.If this child's Parent was in the Car and Let this Happen and knowing that she actually gave this Child The X this BLEEP should Be Shot.......I am sorry but that is the Way I feel about it.there is no way that child was faking .....you could see it on her face.And that one that kept hitting her on the head they ought to file abuse charges on her........things just really piss me off

I think they should stick them all in jail, but i think that they should publicly hang the mom - if she was in there - and then make it public!! perhaps the next "parent"(not even an adult for God sake!) will think twice.

Wow, what a class act on the sites you have listed.

I'm with you, has she really been given a hit or did the teens coax her to act like that. Wish we could see the eyes closer. Her pupils look huge which is sure tell sign of X.

That last site.... WOW!

Some classy people in there. That was rough to even READ those comments....

But - it did make me think the video was real.... They all talk of "rollin'" in there - I am assuming that is what it is called with X? AND - that is what they mentioned on the video. Another point - when you deal with people like that - it IS getting a kid high that they would video-tape in fun.... NOT their kid "pretending" to be high. They wouldn't even have known to turn on the recorder - unless they were anticipating some kind of behavior. That is my opinion, anyway.

That is just sick.

Yikes - I am sorry everyone! I should have warned you that the sites the alleged mom is on - come with some pretty strong language. I certainly don't want anyone to be offended by what they read. Infectious_Sense - I hope you weren't too shccked - I know I was and should have warned you.

And I agree - the whole thing - whether the child was given X or not - is horrible!

absolutely disgusting and the sites that I went to? left a bitter taste in my mouth.........nasty, foul, classless, gang banging trash! what is nice though is to see so many folks from every walk of life sharing their outrage. I do believe based on my experience (or my husbands that is) that this little girl was in fact "rolling" as her mother states, the way that she was waving the hot pink phone in front of the girls eyes is an indicator that she was attempting to "stimulate" her as is done in club settings with the lighting (raves for example)........trying to get her to focus, the stoned look in her eyes etc and where the heck are her clothes? I did'nt see any. This is like the Watauga teens that got the two boys high.

Heather - not a problem.... I have heard it all (I deliver babies for a living - not all women get epidurals - the ones that don't can get quite vocal), really - I just can't believe how those people were talking to her. I could never say things like that to another person.... No matter WHAT they did.

But - you are right - it is the "quality" of the sites, I guess.... That is the kind of people you run in to on those.

I hope (in the VERY least) this woman is charged with Reckless Endangerment - that should be the VERY minimum.

Thanks Inf_Sense - but just to be on the safe side, I deleted the more questionable sites from my orginal post. I don't want to completely offend someone!!

It will be interesting to watch and see what develops with this case. Here's the latest - Sheriff's Deputies have interviewed all 7 people in the van - and ALL say it was just a joke. They told authorities they were returning to Houston from a trip to South Padre when they got bored and told the little girl to roll her eyes back. That's when they began to tape her. At this point, no charges have been filed.

Just shows how sick a lot of people in this world has gotton. It make me wonder what will be going on when our little ones get bigger. It really scares me to think about it. WE really need to keep a very close eye on them and do a whole lot of praying for them!

Well - I am not sure WHEN this occurred - but I would think they would test the child for drugs. Extacy goes out of your system pretty fast - but surely they did that.

And - of COURSE they are all going to say it was a joke!! Look at the responses she got just on those web sites!

My hubby had a point, too... If it is REALLY the child just being "silly" - then she should be able to easily repeat that behavior. It would be interesting to see if she could do that SAME thing with her eyes on-demand from the police.

Keep us posted.... I am SURE this is not the end of it. I hope they drug test everyone in that CAR! Still - Reckless Endangerment charges are in order - the child was not restrained - she wasn't even in a SEAT!! CPS should be all over that. If they are NOT - that is even MORE bad press for them - and they have enough as it is.

That just takes my breath away that a mother would do that to her own baby girl. Is she that much of an inconsiderate MORON???? They should ALL go to jail for a good while for this. Maybe they will be taken advantage of and laughed at so they can see just how it feels. Eye for an eye, man. That poor baby! There is no way that child was acting. I know for a fact that when you take that drug your jaw moves from side to side uncontrollably due to the chemical reaction in your brain and that baby's mouth was doing just that. For these idiots to say this was a joke, THEY ARE THE JOKE! I am appalled! People do not realize the damage that does. That could have killed that little girl. That drug has killed full grown adults, can you imagine what that did to her little brain??? Then to upload it to youtube is by far another one of the dumbest acts ever, seriously. Arrest these girls! These sorry excuse for a waste of space teens should seriously go down for this. I hope I do offend the dorks or anyone that may disagree.

I just dont understand how anyone could do that! Oh my gosh it justs makes me feel so mad and sad at the same time.Wheather it was just an act or not..its not funny either way and there should def. be some sort of conseq. for their actions. You just dont do that to a child(or anyone).

Hi Onyx - you can still see the video. It's on the front page of our website. I am not sure of the child was on X or not - but either way -it's disturbing.

What I took out of my blog was the websites (VERY graphic sites) that had info on who the mom may be. There was a lot of hatin' on those sites - if you know what I mean. Check out the video and let me know what you think.

Those children are only not aborted because they are a "paycheck" for the mentally absent mom.

Keep giving WIC welfare etc to these haters and this will keep going strong.

I saw that video & I can't imagine how people can have a baby & do that to them! Every baby needs to be celebrated & protected. I have 3 daughters who have turned out beautifully. My 16 year old is leading the younger 2 by example & I am so proud of all 3 of them! Children aren't pets or "novelties". And, for those teenagers & young women who are pregnant & cannot properly care for their babies, there are many many couples who would be happy to adopt & will provide a child with a wonderful life. A teenage girl who gives her baby up for adoption in order to give that child the best possible life is, in my book, a hero & should be admired for her selflessness.
BTW, y'all, I still maintain that Fox4 has cornered the market on beautiful babies.
