Bear with me. I have cured cancer with cannabis. The federal government has outlawed possession of cannabis for ANY reason. No research can be done on the curitive properties of this plant, it's against the law. The federal government by maintaining this insanity has allowed, in 2005 alone, 559,312 Americans to die. This has been the case for over 30yrs. At that rate 16,779,360 people have died, MANY of which would not have died except for a government with a Captain Ahab obsession with cannabis. If a doctor knowingly with held a viable treatment from you, and you died because of that, he would, at least, be guilty of negligent homocide, perhaps even murder. How is our government any different? How can you let them keep killing you? How can you let them keep killing your loved ones, and friends? I lost my father to cancer, I lost a very good friend to cancer. Who have you lost to cancer? Do you want to loose more?

Iron, I'm a cancer survivor (diagnosed in 1999). Lost my dad to colon cancer. Lost my granddad to colon cancer. Lost an uncle to throat cancer. Aunt's a cancer survivor. Very interested in following your cannabis oil therapy. Keep us posted.

I am sure interested in seeing where this goes too, what can we do to help?

The only thing that anybody can do is raise hell with the government, e-mails, letters, phone calls. I firmly believe that I have cured my basal cell skin cancer. Everything depends on the follow up biopies that will be done on the 19th of August by the VA. If perchance they don't do biopsies at that time, I will have them done by a private physician at my expense. I will keep you all posted.
I wonder if Mrs. Edwards might like to kow about cannabis, and it's ability to cure cancer?

Yes, someone should tell poor Elizbeth about this cure, so she can get well. This would throw a wrench in her husband's plan to run off with his girlfriend unpon her demise. She is a strong woman and may come out of this on top yet. We'll see....

Quite right Silver. I had the same thought myself. I also wonder if John McCain might be interested. This cure is also claimed to cure Malignant Melanoma. I sincerly wish I had a way to get this information to her. But I'm sure her contact with the outside world does not include E-Mails from the common man/woman.

I'm all for any non-prescription treatment for disease. I rarely go to doctors unless I have an illness which I can't take care of myself through herbal treatment and rest. The drugs they prescribe many times have dangerous side effects and have the potential to make the patient more sick than their original illness. I think doctors should be more open to different and more safe types of cures for disease. They can't wait to get you to take all those tests so they can find something "wrong" with you & start pumping you with drugs. I've seen that happen to many people I know and relatives. Their health rarely improves. I guess we can always hope for better health care and more research.

Yes, it's almost impossible to contact people who are well-known. Then, again, many people think pharmaceuticals are the only way to cure disease, so probably wouldn't take your advise.

I think doctors, big pharms, and poiticians are afraid their bottom line will suffer, along with hospitals. Skin Cancer generates a large amount of money in surgerical procedures alone. There are also the dollars for pain killers. anti-bacterial creams, follow up examinations, etc. This is just ONE area of cancer treatment, probably the cheapest area. Imagine when you get into stomach cancer. The money involved with treatments for that type of cancer. It's mind boggling. But it's terribly frieghtening to think they will just set by and let us die for it. "First do no harm", my ass.

I figure no one is watching this blog any more, but not wanting to "hijack" someone elses blog, I'll put my feelings here just to get it off my chest. Tomorrow at this time I will be at the VA dermatology clinic for a "skin evaluation". They will look at my head, face, and neck to see just how many more cancerous lesions are present. I hope that they find no cancer present at either of the lesions I treated. If they do, it will not really matter. The effect that my treatment of these lesions with cannabis oil has been profound.

The only sign of a lesion having ever existed at the lower lesion is a slight indentation in the skin, nothing like it was. The only sign of a lesion having existed at the upper lesion is a small, very small area of irritation, again nothing like it was. I do not need a doctor to know that my treatment has had a profound effect on these lesions. I do, however, need a doctor to tell just how profound that effect has been. Tomorrow I will post the results of my "skin evaluation" on every blog on myfox. The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth will be posted. Whether I like it or not.

Congratulations Ironman - that is absolutely amazing. I, too, have had skin cancer (1 case of basal cell) about 8 years ago. I had it removed and plastic surgery, although didn't really need the surgery. The problem with using cannabis as a treatment is it must be difficult to find and purchase....

Not for me. There is NO scarring of any kind with cannabis oil. The lesion heals, and is gone. The lower lesion left a round area minus a layer of skin, a dent you might say. That lesion was different from the other. I'm not sure if it actually was basal cell. Could have been another type. I'll ask at the VA tomorrow. A friend of mines father has had a hundred of these damn things cut out. I couldn't deal with that. I endure the surgeries quite well, lay perfectly still. Not a good idea to move around when someone has a razor sharp knife, and is cutting up your face. I try to keep my sense of humor.

Know what you mean about someone cutting on your face!! I was really scared when I had the plastic surgery to correct the small lesion removal scar. They fill up the area and stretch the surrounding skin over it. It stays a little red for a while, but looks good after it heals. Thank God I've only had one of those - hope it is the last!

You might find this amusing, I know the doctor, and I did. The first time they "worked" on me at the VA was to do 9 biopsies. I'm laying on a padded treatment table, head reclined slightly, legs bent at the knee hanging down off the end. Iv'e already been injected with anesthetic. The doctor, a lovely you lady, is cutting slices of my skin off my head. She completes four of the sites, and I tell her, "Whoa, your loosing me, take a break". She reclines my head a little more, to get the blood back in it. I lay there for a couple of minutes. I tell her "OK, I'm alright, you can start again". She does about three more, and I tell her,"WHOA, your loosing me again, getting pretty clammy". She could see I was getting pale, and needed some help.

This time, instead of reclining my head, she walks to the end of the table, takes my ankles, and puts them on her shoulders. Yep, right up there on her shoulders, standing there, her lovely face smiling at me. I could have gone into quite a nice fantasy at this time, but my body decided this would be a wonderful time for a GAS ATTACK. Putrid weapons of mass disgustion exploding around us. We both liked to fell out laughing. The laughing was great for easing the tension, but only succeeded in launching my WMDs with considerably more force. Now that's funny, true story, I swear.

OK, this is how my visit to the VA went down. First I must tell you that the only, ONLY reason the VA called me in for an appointment was to examine the two lesions I have been treating with cannabis oil. The first doctor who looked at them said the upper one needed more treatment, I agreed. The second, the lower one, was CURED. He said that he would not have asked for a biopsie of that area, if he didn't already know that it had been cancerous. He went out and called in a second, probably senior doctor, who agreed with him. They tried to convince me that they had treatments that didn't include the needle, or the knife. I asked why they hadn't offered me those treatments, instead of cutting me up like a Christmass Turkey. The senior doctor replied that surgery was the only definative way to be sure they had removed all the cancer. They asked if I wanted to continue to be treated at the clinic. I told them only if they treated me with cannabis oil, which, of course, they couldn't do. I told them I would continue to treat my cancer myself, but they could set up appointments so they could see my results.

I am vindicated, I have spoken the truth, and the VA knows it. Now you know it. Cancer kills people. Don't you think it would be a good idea if the people of this country had a little more respect, and compassion from their government. Don't you think the fed should lift their ban on research into this plants suritive properties, or do you prefer to die needlessly? Don't you think it's time to act? Start writing, e-mailing, and calling your government representitives. Over 500,000 people DIE from cancer every year. Don't you think you should have every chance to survive? Don't you think your children should have every chance to survive. I need your help, I can't do this alone.

I have no idea why our government disallows sound treatment. If cannibus can treat cancer or any other disease, I say refine it to medical grade and put it on the market. Opiates have been there for over a century. cocaine derivitives have been there. What gives?

My mom and grandmother are both breast cancer survivors. My great grandmother died before they even knew what to look for (as far as cancers). When it is my turn I hope every available option out there can be used. Keep up the good work, Ironman.
