Senator Obama's campaign motto is "Change We Can Believe In."

Do these plans represent the type of change that we can believe in or the type of change America's enemies can believe in?

Obama scares the hell out of me! He won't wear an American Flag and won't put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. He says he's a patriot, the question is for who and what.

Just change the word "change" to "taxes" and you have the entire campaign in a nutshell.

I think a world where we don't have nuclear warheads set to blow the crap our of eachother at all times is a pretty good idea to promote. A decrease in unnecessary spending on future weapons of death and "humane" mayhem, as well as other areas wasting billions every year, would reduce our national debt, freeing up more funds to put back into the economy and allow the value of the American dollar to rise instead of plummitting into the ground. An end to the second most unpopular war since Vietnam would allow US military forces the break they need. Without the $109 Billion President Bush had asked congress for through 2009, the military would have run out of money to pay our soldiers by June. And all you can talk about is how Barack Obama doesn't wear a lapel flag or recite the pledge in a manor deemed more patriotic? If you people are establishing your political decisions and preferences based on apparelle accessories, or the lack thereof, I think its time you seriously re-evaluate your priorities and burn your voter registration card.

Thank all of you for your comments.

Kestrel: The possibility of Senator Obama being elected to the Presidency of the United States is and should be, in my opinion, a worrisome situation. I have heard Senator Obama referred to as the "Teflon candidate," in that information that conflicts with his public image doesn't seem to stick to him.

cjl1618: I briefly reviewed the information concerning Bob Barr. I believe that he could be an interesting candidate. Unfortunately, his decision to run as a Libertarian Party candidate is an unwise choice. I doubt that he will get more than 10 percent of the vote, if that, in the general election. He also will be pulling votes away from John McCain, which will help the Democratic Party candidate, which would appear to be Barack Obama.

Texas Trublu: I believe you have identified the major plank in the Democratic Party platform.

Justin_McDonald: In the words of Robert Frost, "good fences make good neighbors." I also like to believe that a gate in the fence can make a good friend. Unfortunately, not everyone who walks through the gate desires to be a friend.

PatMcCrotch:

Thank you for your comment.

The key to defeating Barack Obama is to vote for John McCain. I know that many people do not see John McCain as a Conservative or a Republican, for that matter. But like it or not, John McCain will be the Republican Party nominee.
