What a sad day. The man who came to our house every year (for over 25 years), Santa Claus (Mr. Dye) died this morning at 3am. He was like a part of our family. He played Santa for me and my generation and started on my sons generation too. He was so realistic. Even when I was 16 and knew there was no Santa, I couldnt figure out how he always knew what I wanted, (come to find out later that there was a bag outside that the parents would drop gifts into and then Santa would bring them in to pass out.) My son thought that when he saw him out and about, that Santa was checking to see if he was being naughty or nice, but that he really lived in the North Pole. He had a real long white beard that he didnt care if the kids grabbed, he was so nice to everyone, always saying hello wherever he was, no matter how much of a hurry he was in. He was always more concerned with how everyone else was than himself. I feel like even though Christmas isn't about Santa Claus and that its not here yet, that part of my Christmas spirit is now gone forever cause he was a part of it for as long as I can remember. I am angry at myself for crying so much because I know that I am crying in selfishness. I know that he went to a better place and that all of his pains are now gone, but I can't help it. Ok, I am done "venting" for right now. Isn't that just a terrible thing? And I know that it will break my sons heart too because he always thought that all of the other Santa Claus's were fakes and that this was the real one.

Hey everyone and happy Sunday!!! I am so glad that it rained last night finally. It rained here for like 2 hours. It was a slow rain but thats a good thing so it would have time to soak into the ground. Did anyone else get the well needed rain?

I was in downtown Cleveland a few days ago and there were pigs EVERYWHERE!!! They were just like the guitars...scattered here and there. They were all painted so nice and put in front of different locations. Everyone that I asked in Clevelnad had no idea...WHAT ARE THE PIGS FOR AND WHO MADE THEM??? Let me know if you saw them and if you know what they are for. Thanks, Jackie

So, who is responsible for saying ok to spending all this money on the whales? The whales found themselves in the river, they can find themselves back out if they want. Maybe they were like dogs who go hide when they feel they are going to die? They did give them antibiotics. Or maybe they just got turned around...only the whales will know.
That money that they spent on the whales could have went to a great cause in the community. Every state has poor communities that could really use that kind of money to renovate.
Don't get me wrong I love animals but spending that kind of money on 2 animals is rediculous! I guess this is why the world is the way that it is. We always seem to blow our money on wierd things, but forget about the things that this money could be going towards....not just on this but on lots of things.
Tell me what you think.

So, it's wonderful that it has been so nice outside...what a blessing. I don't think I have ever worked so hard to get so many flowers, mulch and veggie plants put in, so fast....not to mention, the zillion weeds that had to come out first!!! I am getting ready to have brain surgery at the Cleveland Clinic this Thursday to try to remove my epilepsy. While on my adventure to remove the wrath of what Fall and Winter did to my flower garden, I found 2 snakes, orange spiders, 3 large ant mounds, and lots of other creatures. That's what you get in the country though. My yucka plants and rose bushes ate my arms alive! On top of all that, I forgot that an old boyfriend planted Lilly's for me last year. Silly me didn't realize what they were but I knew they were in the way...so I moved them. Transplanting those were aweful!!! They just keep spreading!!! lol... It's ok though. I bought a few flats of Marigolds too. Those are great cause they don't need too much care. WOW! You never realize how little room there is till you bring all the flowers home! Then comes the yard of mulch. That doesn't sound like that much, but after shoveling it out of the truck I thought I was gonna die! My back hurt so bad afterwards! At least when I get home from my surgery, my flower garden will be beautiful and full of color! Hopefully not too full of weeds either! That was hard work! Take care everyone!

I don't understand all of the blab going on about Paris Hilton. She SHOULD go to jail! If you or I got caught drinking and driving as many times as she did, we would be locked up without a doubt! She should have no special privaleges or anything...throw her in and lock her up, end of story! It's a shame that people who have "money" can trample on the law and think that they can do what they please. Thank God she didn't kill anyone. She should have taken her "money" and paid for a driver. I guess she'd rather spend her money on drinks though...silly me, what was I thinking???
My other gripe is that family that locked their boy up in a cage. What were they thinking. Mother's Day is coming up and that sory just breaks my heart. I can say as a mother that my son gets under my skin but not enough to do something like that. What those kids have gone through will be an emotional problem for them for a long time to come. I wish parents like that were sterile!!! There are so many people out there who can't have children and you get idiots like this who think that drugs are more important than their own kids. SHAME ON THEM!!!
I feel better now that I got that off my chest. Take care everyone!
