I sometimes hear people complaining about how "the News" is so disturbing, depressing and dog gone dreadful.... well you might want to check this story out.

I was biking along the Katy Trail Sunday and saw a couple playing with their bulldog Bentley. He looked a little cornbread fed at first but I later figured out he's just stout and very healthy. You see, Bentley was riding a skateboard. And he was really quite skilled for a k-9... and he didn't want to quit doing it. I called our news desk, they sent a photojournalist and now you can see for yourself.

Hundreds of people walking, strolling and riding up and down the trail saw the big bad Bentley blazing up and down a parking lot adjacent to the trail. Bentley was trying out different skate boards but he actually does have a favorite. He would try out the new boards a couple of times and then go to the back of the SUV... essentially saying he liked his old one better. His owners say you just mention skateboard and you got his full attention. One day they say, he was just at the ironing board...

If every dog has its day... today is for Bentley's. Btw, I asked them if they though he could snow board... they say they've never tried that... stay tuned and check out the video of Bentley on the skateboard.
