I have been to a mini mall in downtown Denton, Tx this past weekend.  While there I came across a gentleman who makes (by hand at that), leather hats and fishing lures (of all things).  The quality of these items is just wonderful.  He has a website also www.jim-matheson.com that details these items.  Check it out for yourself.

Our heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of this fallen bike rider.

We are truly BLESSED to still be here.  November 2005 we were involved in a bike accident that could have taken our lives.

At any rate... family and friends... know that you are not alone in your sorrows.  Please try to remember the good and know that he was doing something he loved.

What's up with this "law" about the license plate frames?  Seems like just telling us would be good enough, but a fine.... Man.... I have removed my frame from the rear of my pickup and moved it to the front.  I wonder how long before they "outlaw" them on the front.  I wonder what they are going to do about the bumper on my pickup.  It appears as though the very bottom of my plate is covered by the bumper.  And it is not a special bumper, it is stock.

Yesterday I just thought it was snowing. I got up this morning and found this "real" snow. This is what I call beautiful. Check out the pictures I have posted.

Hope you all have a blessed day.

This morning I was feeling kind of sorry for myself because I was not going to be able to go to my folks for the holiday. Then I got online, checked my email. I recieved a message from a good friend that got me to thinking differently about my situation. I would like to share those thoughts with you all at this time. Please read:

As we all open our presents, attend services, listen to Christmas carols, and over stuff ourselves with wonderful foods please take the time to remember those who will not be enjoying these things today. Specifically our troops who are putting their lives on the line to insure that we can celebrate our religious and holiday celebrations in safety and peace. Many of them will not get the big Christmas dinner at their base of operations. Many of them will be shivering in the cold and rain eating MREs if they are lucky. While we are opening our presents they will be trying to stay alive. Many of them question why they are over there just as many of us do, but they are doing their job. Doing what is asked of them by the people that we elected to make those decisions.

Please take the time today to remember them in our thoughts and prayers.

Merry Christmas from a proud father of a soldier.

*** He also sent a picture of his son that I am putting in my album. Please return Monday to view it also.

WE ARE ALL BLESSED..... EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK, MONTH & YEAR.....

I am from a small town in the north east corner of Texas. I love animals, motorcycles, sports and people. I grew up on a small airport (literally) so I also love small aircraft. The large ones are ok, but I don't know how to fly them like I do the small ones. hahaha I do have a sense of humor and I thank my God every day he decides to open my eyes. And I try to thank him for everything he decides to steer my way, good or bad. Nothing happens in God's world by mistake!! Currently I live in Argyle, Texas with my fiance', 2 cats (down from 4) and 1 dog (down from 3). We enjoy drinking coffee on the Denton Square, playing darts, bowling and riding motorcycles when we can. Riding is not easy these days due to an accident back in November 2005 that claimed the life of our Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversity Dyna-Superglide. We are healed as much as we are going to heal and are ready to get back on a bike. Finances are very tight these days, the accident has lowered our ability to work like we used to. At any rate.... I still thank God for opening our eyes and the eyes of the people around us. Not to mention our loved ones. Hope you all have a blessed day.... No matter what!
