I was checking myfox, reading blogs and brushing up on a few current events and noticed the video with the teens getting a toddler to smoke pot. If you read my last blog " I'm right you're wrong-" you should know what my stance is regarding the legality of marijuana but what has transgressed from this video just makes me sad. Show some f*ing common sense people, seriously. Doing things like this then having the odacity to  video tape it is what gives responsible cannabis users a bad rap and keeps prohibition laws from reformation and just adds fuel to the reefer madness politcal bonfire. These were two very stupid and irresponsible teenagers who do not represent the kind of  responsible and self-aware people who do want pot decriminalized. They should be prosecuted just for being so careless. I'm not worried necessarily that smoking pot, hopefully just the once, at age 2 will dramatically affect the childs overall growth and development but I do recognize the fact that it was wrong. Pot is not bad, what is bad are the actions and characteristics of  the foolish and irresponsible who use pot unwisely

-Please, toke responsibly.

Let's see, this is the second time some idiot cannabis smokers have tried to get toddlers to smoke. How many do we not see, that aren't on video?
Oh how about the robbery of a medical cannabis shop. They stole over 30,000 dollars worth of pot , that they can sell on the streets.
Pot makes people not think rationally.
I guess sitting around getting the munchies and laughing at anything absurd, like getting toddlers to smoke is ok.

I am sure these guys think they are responsible pot smokers. Anyone I have asked that smokes says they are.

I would never condone or even entertain the thought of getting a child high and wouldn't associate myself with anyone who would neither would any other RESPONSIBLE pot user with half a brain and some shred of descency. As I tried to point out these kids were morons, and are probably just as stupid and fool hardy when they're sober as they are when they get stoned and deserve what ever they have coming to them. Would it have been different if they were sober and tried to get the kid to puff on a Camel or put rum in her bottle?

ANYBODY STUPID ENOUGH TO GIVE A BABY POT NEEDS THEIR BLEEP KICK AND LOCKED AWAY FOR AWHILE TO THINK ABOUT THEIR STUPID STUNT AND THE HARM IT COULD HAVE CAUSED THE BABY.

Babysister there is no excuse for what these idiots have done. But they are just that, IDIOTS. It's not the cannabis that is to blame, it's the lack of a good upbringing, and a total lack of responsibilty. You get all outraged about this, as you should, alcohol KILLS 6times more high school aged children than all the illegal drugs combined. Don't you think you need to get outraged about that to? Don't you think it would be a good idea to get just as pissed off at the adults that get it for them. Next time some teenagers die on the highway I would like to see your outrage here for that to. I have consumed cannabis for 40 years, I never have, and never would do anything like this, ever. I AM a responsible consumer of cannabis.

I have nothing to say over this issue because it pisses me off to the point of speechlessness. They should be locked away and given the same number of years equal to the same number of brain cells they've killed in the toddler and then double that with the brain cells they've killed which were thier own and then double that for the one's who were around them getting a contact high. aka: LIFE!!!

I do get outraged, if I had a magic wand, I would make the world perfect.
If you wish to cloud your brain, that is Your choice as an adult.

Ironman, when this story first came out, I thought of you and the way you feel about your pot. But you are right about the alcohol abuse too. More needs to be done to keep our children safe.

Any type of smoking is not good for you in the first place. The figures show that that somking pot doubles the effect than smoking cigarettes. Even worst than smoking cigars.

Why kind of dog food are these people eating that they would subject these children like that?

Patriotman, I agree that "smoking" of anything is not good. Cigarettes are much more dangerous than smoking cannabis. Research has shown that cannabis consumption DOES NOT increase the risk of cancer. http://www.heraldnews.com/opinions/x125178433
http://www.procon.org/AddictChart.htm
Cannabis does not destroy brain cells.
The government has totaly ruled out a "contact high" as an excuse for a positive result on a drug test. I do not SMOKE cannabis, I vaporize it removing any concerns about harmfull effects on the lungs. Preliminary studies indicate that cannabis inhibits the spread of breast cancer. It has also been shown to inhibit the developement of Alzhiemers. It controls the symptoms of glacoma, and nausea, and vomiting associated with aids, and chemotherapy. It is usefull in controling muscle spasms associated with MS. The federal government is obsessed with maintaining cannabis as a schedule 1 controled drug, and refusing to allow extensive research into the life saving aspects of this substance. They also,IMHO, like the $40,000,000,000.oo a year they get to spend of OUR money in an absurd effort to maintain the status quo, and keep their pockets fat.

It is definitely a form of child abuse. Prosecute them.

Have any of you read the story. They found 1 ton of pot in their home. These punks should be put in jail for rest of life. They could have killed this child. They need to be put in the general prison pop and lets see how long they last in their.

All they'd have to say is they had a ton of pot and they'd be semi heroes.

I'm fairly certain that this guy won't get any kind of special prestige points from his cell mate for being a pot dealer. If anything he'll just be fresh meat.

"Pot is not bad, what is bad are the actions and characteristics of the foolish and irresponsible who use pot unwisely."

Obviously, some of you think differently but I think I chose my words correctly. These two should suffer the consequences of their actions, what they did was wrong but that little girl is going to be fine, physiologically speaking. I was just trying to stand up for those of us who use marijuana responsibly and aren't complete retards. We try to distance ourselves from people like them. My point: Not everyone who likes to get high is a threat to your children and society and shouldn't have to carry the same stigma as those who CHOOSE to act like morons with weed. Same as with Alcohol.

Justin, you are incorrect. We go into the prisons all the time to visit inmates. The crimes like this, while not common whatsoever, will bring the guy no adverse affects. Unfortunately you too (like most people) have bought into the media image of what happens in prisons. Even the child rapists and molestors are kept in protective custody.

This is me expressing myself. Just like alot of people I have hopes and goals of succeeding or at least doing something fulfilling with my life. I'll live my life the way I choose too, honoring my values and beliefs, and if you don't like my fire then don't come around, 'cause I'm gonna burn one down.
