I can't believe the man the police arrested for growing marijuana, Dwayne Marshall Nielson, lived in my home town. Not but maybe a 7 minute car ride from my old street. Of course I never knew him, lol, I never touched pot till college. Still, I don't think I could have guessed that a pot farmer was living in Red Oak...looks like the market is gonna be a little thin soon, lol. He's probably going to be in jail for a long, long time because he was growing so much freakin weed but hey, it'll only cost about $17,000 dollars (yours, mine and our tax money) a year to feed clothe and shelter this guy for every year he spends in prison. Yes, he broke the law and will be punished in accordance with Texas state law, but if the law were changed and we could possess and grow (within reason, of course) there would essentially be no black market and *poof* no more pot farmers clogging the prison system, saving up money and space for real criminals.

Thats just my opinion....

I don't care what people do but they have to change the laws before I'll support it. The dude knew he was doing something illegal but I would much rather them go after the illegal immigrants and people-traffickers than the poor little pothead. In all fairness he's not hurting anyone except the people who rely on him to stay out of jail.

Right on.

Quick joke:
How many potheads does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Answer: I don't know; they never finished screwing it in.

I'll be here all week, folks! Ba-dum-chum!

no offense.... but I'm glad I was high when I read that mamatat otherwise it probably would have tanked...its love/hate relationship being a comedian though..If you think of a joke then you write it down, but if you can't find a pen then you have to convince yourself that what you thought of... isn't funny.

20,000,000 know we are doing something illegal. People during alcohol knew they were doing something illegal. Lets see, during alcohol prohibition we had "Gangs", drive by shootings, alcohol being smuggled across our northern border where alcohol was NOT illegal, and people manufacturing alcohol illegaly right here in the good ol USA. The law was repealed, and all of that stopped.
Now we have cannabis prohibition. Lets see, now we have "Gangs, drive by shootings, cannabis being smuggled across our southern border, and people growing cannabis right here in the good ol USA. We also, well not "we", Mexico has heavily armed drug cartels wreaking havoc on their country because we have made drugs so insanely profitable. Oh BTW Mexico isn't the only country that has to deal with drug cartels because of OUR War on Drugs. The War on Drugs is not realy a war on DRUGS, it's a war on PEOPLE.

Many of you think of a "pothead" as a lazy, unmotivated, slovenly dolt. You would be surprised at the truth. The one thing that you don't think of, and believe me, you should is the medical applications of compounds in the cannabis plant. People with glacouma use it to relieve the intra ocular pressure in their eyes. People undergoing chemotherapy use it to stop the nausea, and vomiting associated with the treatment of their cancer. HIV/AIDS patients use it to control nausea, and cyclic vomiting associated with the desease. People with MS use it to control muscle spasims caused by their desease. I personaly am using cannabis oil to cure, YES, CURE Basal Cell Carcinoma,(skin cancer). I'm sure some of you are saying to yourselves, "there goes that dumb pothead ranting about a CURE for cancer again". You're sure that if a cure for cancer existed you would know about it because it would be headline news, and surely the gov would make sure it was available to everybody, wouldn't they? NO they wouldn't. Think of all the billions of dollars being made by the big pharmacuetical companies in the TREATMENT OF CANCER. Think of the money being made by dermatology clinics in surgical procedures to remove cancerous lesions. A CURE for cancer would end all of this. OH BTW the federal government has patented compounds found in the cannabis plant for medical use. In the case of Basal Cell Carcinoma I know for a fact that you don't have to endure the "stick, and a burn, slicing and dicing to be rid of the lesions, just put a bit of cannabis oil on the lesion, cover it with a bandaid, and lea

leave it on for 24hrs, repeat as necessary. Soon the lesion will begin to be replaced by new healthy skin. I KNOW, I HAVE DONE IT, IT WORKS. It is also claimed that cannabis oil will CURE malignant melanoma. Thankfully, I do not have melanoma, if I did I would treat it with cannabis oil also. The only person I knew who did have malignant melanoma had it surgicaly removed, 2yrs later it killed him. Guess they didn't get it all. Perhaps if I had been aware of the curitive properties of cannabis oil then, he would still be alive today. Perhaps if you all would push the government to allow meaningfull research into the curitive properties found in the cannabis plant, you will all still be alive tomorrow.

This is me expressing myself. Just like alot of people I have hopes and goals of succeeding or at least doing something fulfilling with my life. I'll live my life the way I choose too, honoring my values and beliefs, and if you don't like my fire then don't come around, 'cause I'm gonna burn one down.
