Obama To Risk American Homeland

Obama vowed to move swiftly to begin "remaking America." The remaking begins with a 120 day hold on trial proceeding at Gitmo, with the final act of closing the Terrorist holding facility.

As of this date  not a single country is willing to take the suspect terrorist. This means moving the some 225 terrorist to the United States, to a Federal holding facility like a Prison or Military base located in the United States. You would think it would be a goal to keep Terrorist out of the country not bring them in, Oh I forgot Obama is paying political debits at the expense of the American people. This is like painting a Target on the civilian population near the holding facilities.

Obama has started on the first day to disembowel this country I only hope there is enough to save at the end of 4 years.

Obama Service Web Site Tied To "Bush Shoe Toss"

Colin Powell held a press conference in Washington, D.C., Friday, touting the launch of Barack Obama's new Web site, USAService.org, which allows Americans to find -- and to promote -- local service opportunities that are searchable by zip code.

President Bush's former secretary of state said he was on the site this morning and vouched for its usefulness.

But here's betting that Powell didn't have time to go through all of the events on it.

Wanting to see how the Web site works, I typed in my hometown zip code in Los Angeles to find events within a 10-mile radius.

It pointed me to several events, including a blood drive, a graffiti cleanup, and an "Obama Celebration and Bush Shoe Toss."

The event, which was listed as a "Day of Service -- January 19," is taking place at the soon-to-open Carnivale Café on the corner of Vermont and Normal. 

"Come celebrate with us," wrote Gilbert Gazan, 46, in the event's description. "Say goodbye to old Georgie ... Throw a shoe at a poster of Bush and win a free drink."

Asked about the "Bush Shoe Toss" advertised on Obama's site, Douglass said, "That obviously does not sound like any description of public service that we have in mind. But again, we are not in the business of regulating this. We're just in the business of giving people opportunities."

A few minutes later, after talking with her colleagues, Douglass called back to say that the committee has removed the "Bush Shoe Toss" from the site because "it does not appear those activities are connected to community service."

Gazan, who was inspired by the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at Bush, is undeterred.

Asked if he plans to go forward with the "Bush Shoe Toss" contest now that it has been deleted from USAService.org, Gazan said, "Oh, yeah, we have 22,000 students across the street at Los Angeles Community College."

"The whole world is breathing a sigh of relief," he added, referring to Bush's looming departure.

This just another example of the disrespect and contempt the Liberals hold for the Office of the President and this country. This might give insight into the makeup of the "Team Obama" attitudes and respect they have for this country.

Is This Obama and Emanuel or Capone and Nitti ?

Rahm Emanuel's district runs from the historically mob-dominated town of Melrose Park on east, through Elmwood Park into the city, to Chicago's Viagra Triangle along Rush Street.
Yet there is another expert on Emanuel's political rise, the world's foremost authority in the field: Don Tomczak.
Unfortunately, Mr. Tomczak, a top political operative for that other famous reformer, Mayor Richard Daley, is indisposed.
Tomczak will be indisposed until July 3, 2010, when he is scheduled to get out of federal prison, where he was sent after pleading guilty to taking $400,000 in bribes for city trucking contracts in that department Daley still doesn't know anything about.

"Mr. Tomczak was a gentleman of the old school," his lawyer, Patrick Cotter, said the other day. "That was the only way he was ever taught to do things. That's not an excuse, but it is an explanation." Years ago, Daley put Tomczak in charge of an illegal political army of stooges on the city payroll who worked elections to get promotions and overtime to benefit Daley's machine. City Hall allowed Tomczak to bring the Democratic army out to Will County to elect his son Jeff as a Republican state's attorney. But the important work was in the city, where Tomczak muscled for Emanuel in 2002.

There were hundreds of Tomczak/Daley stooges knocking on doors, manning precincts, passing literature for Emanuel to install him and knock out a true progressive local Democrat, Nancy Kaszak. Tomczak testified to this at a federal trial of other convicted Daley patronage chiefs. The mayor was so upset that his mouthpiece, David Axelrod , felt compelled to write an op-ed piece in the Tribune that took the side of patronage and clout, saying it wasn't all that bad, really. Simultaneously, Axelrod was massaging the message for Obama about transcending the old, corrupt politics and ushering in the sunshine of reform, a slogan that sent tingles up the legs of pundits.

After Tomczak cooperated and testified, Emanuel defended Daley and denied any knowledge of the Tomczak army that elected him. "I am not here to excuse any illegal acts or the violation of the public trust," said Emanuel at a lunch at the City Club. "Corruption is corruption. It cannot be excused and it cannot be overlooked."

But he did overlook it, saying Daley didn't know what was going on at City Hall because the mayor "outsourced" his politics, and Rahm didn't know who sent Tomczak and hundreds of knuckle-draggers to install him in Congress to do the people's business.

"I guess when you have hundreds of city workers show up to help you on your campaign, you don't ask any questions," said Jay Stewart, executive director of the Better Government Association.
"Rahm is one of the few people who defended the mayor in these corruption scandals. He's a creature of Chicago politics. As Mayor Daley benefited from Tomczak's efforts, so did Rahm Emanuel," Stewart said. Now that Emanuel is working to help Obama bring reform to the nation, 5th Congressional District candidates will eagerly rub up against Jimmy DeLeo, and the lucky one will get a kiss on the cheek.

The True Crime magazine will have a four year run of stories out of Washington. MSNBC and CNN will turn their head to the stench of rotten politics right under their noses. The American people will have been mislead and deceived by the greatest Con in this nations history. The shame is victims of scams rarely admit they have been ripped off, they don't want to admit they were not smart enough to see through the scam. The same reason the elderly fall victim and fall to report it, with the scam artist free to prey on someone else.

Barack Obama’s transition website was illegally authorized to register as an official U.S. government domain and Judicial Watch has exclusively obtained documents to prove it, including evidence that the authorization was initially denied.

The GSA, which manages and supports the basic functioning of federal agencies, specifically limits coveted “.gov” websites to U.S. government organizations at the federal, Native Sovereign Nation, state and local levels. These may include governmental departments and programs as well as cities and townships represented by an elected body of officials.

The agency specifically forbids political or campaign information on any “.gov” website as well as any tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that can engage in lobbying or political campaigning. Obama’s change site proudly features the Obama-Biden Transition Project, a 501c(4) organization that actively engages in lobbying and political campaigning. The website also uses Obama’s favorite invented term of Office of the President-Elect, which is definitely not an official government office.

Incredibly, the GSA caved into Obama machine pressure and reversed its original and appropriate denial of a government domain for political use.change.gov website, Judicial Watch quickly filed a public records request with the agency (General Services Administration—GSA) that authorized it because the campaign clearly didn’t meet the strict eligibility requirements for official government websites.

Leon Panetta Another Obama Blunder

Leon Panetta it was announced will be Obama’s choice for CIA Director. Where is Panetta’s background for this job? He has two years of military experience 1964 to 1966 as an attorney during the Viet Nam War, but his combat experience was limited stateside to the Officers Club and handling sharp pencils. He also managed to leave the military to go to Washington to work as legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Thomas H. Kuchel of California.

Panetta was a U.S. Representative from California’s 16th district from 1977 to 1993. As a House member, he was a key participant in the 1990 budget summit as well as every other budget summit during the 1980s. He authored the Hunger Prevention Act of 1988. Nothing to qualify as experience toward Director of CIA.

Panetta was appointed Chief of Staff to President Clinton on July 17, 1994, and served in that position until January 20, 1997. This gave him experience in keeping secrets from Hillary and the Media, but still no concrete intelligence experience.

I fear his concern will be the human rights of Terrorist over the Safety of the American people. He doesn’t have what it takes to make Life and Death decisions, which could lead to the loss of valuable human intelligence and the IO doing the collection.

Panetta is not good news to the men and women in the Intelligence community. Obama with this choice has moved the War on Terror into a retreat mode and the enemy will take advantage of the situation. The Plans for 9-11 were conceived and planned during the Clinton Administration not during Bush’s Watch. Leon Panetta assures more attempted Terrorist strikes at our Homeland.

Bill Richardson Thrown Overboard Before Obama Ship Launched.

A federal grand jury in Albuquerque met in December to look at how Beverly Hills, California-based CDR Financial Products won $1.5 million of work from the New Mexico Finance Authority in 2004.

The New Mexico investigation is one front in a nationwide inquiry by U.S. prosecutors into so-called pay-to-play practices in the municipal-bond market. The term refers to banks and advisers who make political contributions or personal gifts to public officials in return for fee-paying financing assignments.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation asked current and former officials from the state agency if any of the at least 30 people in the governor’s office influenced CDR’s hiring.

Richardson appoints five directors to the New Mexico Finance Authority’s 12-member board, including the chairman. Five other directors are members of his cabinet.

CDR made $1.48 million advising the authority on interest- rate swaps and restructuring escrow funds for $1.6 billion of transportation bonds issued by the agency, according to state records.

In October 2003, CDR President David Rubin gave $25,000 to Moving America Forward Inc., a political action committee formed by Richardson, disclosure forms show. Seven months later, CDR, known then as Chambers, Dunhill, Rubin & Co., gave $75,000 to ¡Si Se Puede! Boston 2004 Inc., formed to help pay expenses at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, where Richardson was chairman.

Well, just another piece of Obama corruption that has floated to the surface while under scrutiny. There is more to come in the saga of the “Chosen One” who’s the next one to be sent back to the Minor Leagues?

Obama Tax Policy Stealth Welfare

Mr. Obama you promised Americans that you will cut taxes for 95 percent of workers and restore fairness to the tax code. To the average American, these words mean reducing federal tax rates and the total tax burden so that all taxpayers--retired or working, student or family--would get to keep more of their own income to spend on their needs or to save and invest as they see fit.

For middle-class families and other Americans, a pledge of "broad-based tax relief" or to "cut taxes" does not mean narrow tax breaks restricted to families who engage in activities that Washington decides are worthy. And it certainly does not mean a check from Washington for the millions of Americans who are not even paying income tax today.

Your plan is to pay for the income tax cuts provided to 95 percent of workers with (1) a tax increase on those who make more than $250,000 and (2) another set of unspecified tax increases. This short-sighted class-warfare argument unfortunately appealed to many Americans, but it would mean raising taxes on key investors and business owners. Higher taxes on these Americans would make it more costly to expand, innovate, and invest, so there would be fewer new factories, fewer new products, and fewer jobs for American families.

The income tax, moreover, is already highly progressive. Those who earn over $250,000 already pay about 48 percent of all income taxes, yet you would raise their taxes to have them pay an even greater share. On the other hand, 43 million tax filers--nearly one-third of the 135.7 million who filed in 2006--paid no federal income taxes at all after credits, deductions, and exemptions.

Though it was very popular in the heat of the election to call for tax hikes on the rich in order to "spread the wealth around," the fact is that increasing taxes on the most successful only serves to lower economic growth, discourage entrepreneurial risk taking, and harm opportunities for the poor and middle class. Tax increases are economically harmful at all times, but they are especially harmful during a recession. President Herbert Hoover's decision in 1930 to increase the top tax rate from 25 percent to 63 percent contributed to the Great Depression. As you have appeared to concede since the election, today's economic problems underscore the need to expand your tax cuts to include all taxpayers.

While we participate in all of these struggles, we must take part in the important conversations on the future of our country, including the socialist alternative. Building the Communist Party is something positive and necessary; history shows that a large Communist contingent in the people’s movement, and a wide circulation of our press, contribute substantially to advancing the cause of democracy and social progress.

It is a new day. Great changes are possible. Yes, it’s time for action. On January 20th, big history will be made in our country. The mobilization by the labor and people’s movement for a People’s Inauguration will put the fight for the mandate on the mark and ready to go.

A federal grand jury is investigating how an investment company won more than $1.5 million in work advising the state of New Mexico after making contributions to the political action committees of Gov. Bill Richardson, President-elect Barack Obama's choice to be commerce secretary.

The "pay-to-play" investigation is looking at whether the governor's office played a role in the the hiring of CDR Financial Products -- and the probe is in a highly active stage, two sources familiar with the matter said. Tomorrow in Albuquerque, the grand jury is expected to hear testimony from several witnesses, including officials at J.P. Morgan, who worked with the state and CDR on the state's investments, and from Richard's political action committee, the sources said.

The FBI and federal prosecutors are focused on how the Beverly Hills-based CDR won lucrative fees from the New Mexico Finance Authority in 2004 very soon after donating $100,000 to Richardson's efforts to register Hispanic and American Indian voters and pay for expenses at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, according to the sources. FBI agents have already asked numerous witnesses whether the governor's aides were involved in CDR's hiring.

Richardson's spokesman and the U.S. Attorney's office in New Mexico declined to comment on the probe, which began earlier this summer. So far, several board members at the N.M. Finance Authority have publicly confirmed being interviewed about CDR's hiring.
