Some of you are already aware that your blog platform is getting a
facelift to look more cohesive with the new look for the web site.
You may notice text shifts, color changes, etc. We are
aware of these items and are working to get the blog platform to have a
clean look.
We are aware that the login box is currently covering up the top-right
logo on many of your pages. We are also aware of the Terms of Service overlapping the comment boxes on some blogs.
Please be patient. The issues are being addressed and we will let you
know when things are resolved.
In the meantime, if you are using Internet Explorer, you will have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to get to the comment box (which isn't covered by the Terms of Service). I'm using Firefox and haven't seen any problems as of Monday, Oct. 20.

FYI...

On Tuesday, September 30, FOX will be performing maintenance of the message boards and blogs at about 10am Arizona time.
At that time, the blogs and message board platforms will be set to Read-Only status.
This means users will not be able to add any new posts or comments, but can still see all the data.
By 12pm, all systems should be restored to read/write mode.
Just a heads up!
Thanks for your patience!

Although Farve has been an All-Star quarterback for
nearly all his career, he is expensive for the Jets, and obviously near the end
of his career as an NFL QB. The things in his favor are that he has a cannon arm
and has never missed a game; his durability is a record for the quarterback
position. Conversely, Chad Pennington, has always had injury problems and a
weak throwing arm. Chad is well
liked in NY, especially by his teammates. Brett will have a difficult time in
the beginning filling Chad's shoes in that respect. But if he can produce,
people will forget. The BIG question is, "Can he produce?" A major reason why
Chad Pennington was injured so often was that the offensive line protecting him
broke down. Either by lack of talent or poor play. That line hasn't really been
improved. A couple of years ago, the Jets traded their perennial All-Pro center,
Kevin Mawae who was the anchor and captain of the offensive line. That created a
big gap in the QB protection last year, and Pennington was injured again.
I don't see that Farve will be able to help
the Jets, but I hope I'm wrong. Their problems didn't go away with the addition
of Brett. And those lingering problems will affect his ability to make a
positive contribution.

There is a technical snafu that's unintentionally hiding new blogger's posts and/or profiles. For example, you may have seen a screen that says "Whoops! Invalid ID." FOX Interactive Media's tech team in L.A. is working on a fix and we'll let you know when it goes into effect.
Meanwhile, we're asking all the new bloggers or users who've seen new signups comment on their blogs to post a comment on this post so we can read through the blogs and possibly feature it. Other MyFOX sites have found that this can get a new blogger "un-stuck."
The tech team is also working on the e-mail notification problem as well. We know that you haven't been receiving comment/post notifications and they're working on a fix for that bug.
We'll keep you updated on the status of the bug fixes as we hear from the tech team.
Thanks for your patience!
P.S. - Click here to check out our F.A.Q. for other questions you may have.

We have a new politics section on the web site and one of the elements you might be interested in: featured political bloggers. We'll be showcasing some of the bloggers who concentrate on political blogs.
The goal is to find as many voices as possible to establish a good dialog between now and the presidential election. Please refrain from insults and stay on topic.
Please do not copy and paste from other sources. We want to read YOUR opinions on the issues.
Remember to have the comments enabled on your blog!
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there...
Unfortunately, I have bad news. Blog comment moderation has returned. There are some users that are flooding blogs with comments.
We are working with the national team on a way to solve the problem. The moderation is a workaround.
thanks folks...

I want to see exactly how many comments we can get on a blog...
So, here we go!
This is just something for fun...no particular topic, theme, so anything goes......
By the way, myfoxstl.com has over 8,500 comments for a single blog! Can we beat St. Louis?
Feel free to post more than once!
