My point?

* No matter what your past is, no matter how ugly or vile it is, God can still work through you. 

Why do we have "role models?"

The only Role Model worth looking to is, Jesus Christ! - Everyone else falls short!

So, why do we put each other in impossible positions when there is NO way we can live up to them?

Sure, we strive to do well, good and upright things, but the minute we stumble, there will be someone there to blame us.

The truth of the matter is, it's foolish to have a role model other than Christ because only CHRIST is perfect, to look to anyone else is setting yourself up for a huge disappointment, plus, it's just NOT SMART.

Wow, it seems America's preachers are dumbing down the flock these days. Seriously, when was the last time you actually heard a preacher actually PREACH the word of God?

Most preachers are preaching self help programs, or how to get rich by using, "God's word." - BLECH.

FEW preach agianst imorality, they're afraid the ppl wont return to church. - And only a handfull are teaching the end times.- It's just not popular.

We are approaching some very intersting times, however if you don't read your bible, you wont know what's happening.

For instance, Condi Rice is in Israel right now trying to set up a peace treaty between Israel and Palestinian leaders. - This is significant. The book of Daniel has some interesting things to say on that. Read it starting in Daniel 9 verse25.

Don't take my word for it, open the bible and read it yourself.

Dear Conservatives,

Um, where the hell are all the conservatives? Are ya'll too busy hiding your money or is your life so comfy, you didn't think it was important to get out and vote???!! Surely you conservatives didn't vote for McCain? The way things turned out, it looks like you either went shopping or just didn't really give a flip, so you didn't bother to vote.

Come on Conservatives, what happened?

Well my fellow citizens, our next President WILL BE a democrat, so if you didn't vote, pat yourself on the back, you helped them win.

Today Senator Obama said, " I plan on ending this war before the end of my first term. We need to change the mentality of going to war."

Change the mentality of going to war...Hmm...

I have a few questions for the Senator.

1. What do you plan on doing should we suffer another terrorist attack?

2. HOW are you going to PAY for your Super Hero Health program??

3. Which is worse, not having health insurance or not having enough money to make ends meet because the majority of your paycheck is going to pay for the Super Hero Health program?

M'kay, I've been working with for or within Christian companies in one form or another for quite some time now and it's been MY experience that we "Christians," have NOT paid our workers fairly.

1 Timothy 5:18  For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,”[a] and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”[b]

I believe Christian owned, & operated companies pay the LOWEST wages of all the companies I've encountered and that is a SHAME!

We often scold the single mother for working at the strip club, or the corner drug dealer etc, however we who CALL OURSELVES CHRISTIANS, have not given them a very good alternative!

Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Daystar TV, Kenneth Copeland etc. pay their customer service reps a whopping $9.00 bucks an hour. Who can survive on that???!!! Their warehouse personnel who sends out their tapes, videos etc make even less!!!

THIS SHOULD NOT BE!

These preachers may give out a great message, however they're not living off no $9.00 bucks an hour I can PROMISE you that!!

If you're going to PROCLAIM to be a CHRISTIAN company, you'd better put your money where your mouth is, and pay a FAIR WAGE!! - If you can't live off it, don't force someone else to try and live off it!

Sure you want a profit, so crunch the numbers and cut corners somewhere else, but NOT the wages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.

What Shrills is really saying is, "Hey, any and ALL AMERICANS who do not want to participate in her communist health care plan will be FORCED to whether they want to or not. Shrills will just EXTRACT the money from your paycheck, like it or not!"
