So, why does Rev Al Sharpton have his girdle in a major crunch today?
Apparently, this is why:
"Six black teens were charged a few months after three white teens were accused of hanging nooses in a tree on their high school grounds. The white teens were suspended from school but weren't prosecuted. Five of the black teens were initially charged with attempted murder. That charge was reduced to battery for all but one, who has yet to be arraigned; the sixth was charged as a juvenile."
You can read more about it here: Sharpton's Girdle Crunch
Sure, I think it was hateful and NASTY for anyone to hang nooses in a tree, particularly in the South. However, they hung nooses, they didn't beat anyone up.
The reason the blacks are facing charges, is because of the "beating," NOT, because of their race.
