Right now U.S. Highway 111 is closed in front of Farm Fresh due to heavy water drainage backup. One car is stalled in the south bound lane.

Thanks,

We seem to be having a new battle lately with my special needs son Curtis he has been battling the barometric pressure with his shunt. It seems that every time the weather changes from cold to hot, or hot to cold he has a headache and stomach ache from the pressure changes in his shunt. After 3 days of headaches and misery on Friday he had another grandmal seizure his second in a month and a half. I am praying that the weather makes up its mind soon so he can get better. It has been frustrating watching him hurting and being so helpless. The only backup we have for a grandmal seizure is his medicine for emergencies called Diastat it stops the seizure within a minute of giving it to him. Hopefully it will get better soon I hope and today he went to his pediatrician again for a visit due to a developing sinus infection we got him an antibiotic and hopefully it will go away and not bring another seizure with it. Prayers are greatly needed.

xoxo,
Tammy

I have heard in the news far too many times parents blaming myspace for their lack of parent supervision and their lack to read the myspace rules and regulations. They allow their tween child on there, but if they were to read the rules and regulations on myspace it says you MUST BE 14 years of age or older to be on myspace NOT 13, NOT 12, NOT 11 or younger. When will parents start taking responsibility for monitoring their children online. I have an 11 year old daughter she will never be allowed on myspace until she is 18 and when she is allowed on I will be constantly on there looking at her page, checking her friends and making sure that NO ONE is posing a threat to her.

As for registered sexual predators on myspace there are people on there everyday turning the names of the predators in to myspace it is then left up to myspace to ensure that they are removed.

Thank you to the Secretary of State Police for finally cracking down on holiday shoppers who park illegally in handicapped parking spots. It is always hard to find a handicapped space anywhere I go with my 9 year old son he uses a walker to get around except for this time of year he has to use his wheelchair so that he won't get knocked down in stores by all of the RUDE holiday shoppers who just don't care and think they are above the law and can just walk over the top of him. It angers me when people do this. In our wood river walmart store this week one woman looked right at us and pushed her cart in front of him had I not grabbed my son's arm to stop him from walking forward she would have hit him with her shopping cart. So to all holiday shoppers please be respectful to children and adults who are handicapped and please don't park in spaces designated for them just because you are too lazy to walk.

I have recently become an MFI girl if you don't know what MFI is it stands for

www.myfreeimplants.com

I am doing this because it will boost my self esteem and make me feel more my age. Every where I go I see cute little old ladies and they see me with my two kids and they assume im their babysitter when I tell them im their mom they say you look too young you look 16 I then reply that im 31 and it really shocks them I get tired of hearing that I look 16 so I am doing this for no one but myself. The site really is a great idea. I only have to talk to all the men on the site I never do anything inappropriate and I even tell them that in my profile. I get donations and when I reach my donations goal then the money never comes to me but goes directly to my doctor of choice who will perform my augmentation.

I have heard alot of controversy surrounding this site and I don't understand why. I am happy to have this chance that I could never myself afford. So men come by and be benefactors and ladies come join the fun and make your own day.

xoxo,

Tammy

As our astute ONE members may already know, the Farm Bill is making its way through Congress. The bill only shows up once every five years, and is in major need of reform.

The agricultural subsidies contained within the bill use taxpayer money to allow large farms to out compete small farmers by driving down prices. Only the largest 8% of farmers receive these subsidies, leaving small farmers the world over unable to compete. However, as you can imagine, these 8% are heavily invested in keeping the status quo.

The Farm Bill has been around for many years, and to reform such a deeply rooted piece of legislation, we will need to get the attention of Congress, the media, and the American public.

As the bill moves in front of the House of Representatives, we are presented a rare chance to take action on this legislation. Please help spread the word about this opportunity by sending a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Your letters are a crucial part of the effort to reform the Farm Bill.

With your help, we can send a message to Congress that the American public does not embrace damaging subsidies that prevent small farmers across the world from producing and selling their goods.

A missing dog got 5 minutes or more this morning on the news WHY? well because the dog's owners are wealthy obviously. If they can afford 25,000 for a reward for their dog then they are well off.  BUT you don't see any coverage on the missing girl now do you????????

what is wrong with our country when a dog takes top priority over a missing child???? Now days you also get more time for killling an animal then you do for killing a person.

thats messed up!

There was a report of a young girl who is missing she is african american so she had about 3 minutes of a report and that was all I don't care what race you are if you are missing you should get constant news coverage. Has she even been found yet??????
