An elderly woman was violently physically and sexually assaulted in her Woodbridge, Va., home on Monday night, police said.  An intruder attacked the 79-year-old victim while she was on the phone with a relative, according to investigators.  The relative alerted authorities to the assault.  Officers arriving on the scene said they saw a man running out of the victim’s house.

You dirty bastard, you will be caught and you had better pray to God that you are caught by the police first, as this was a horrible crime against the elderly, who could not defend herself but tried like hell and you will pay, trust and believe on that.  This kind of act I have no tolerance for as this woman was in her house minding her own business and did nothing to deserve this kind of treatment, hell, she could have been my mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, or friend.  I am appalled that we have people such as yourself in this world that would or could commit such horrible acts, you bastard!

I am appalled that my congressional leaders will do nothing to rescind the automatic raise that they are about to receive during these trying times as the nation faces the worse economic recession I have ever seen.  My question to you Congress is why in the hell would you even consider giving yourselves an approximate $3,700 increase while more than 2 million constituents have lost their jobs?  Furthermore, as we taxpayers are bailing out corporation after corporation and many homeowners are losing their houses wholesale, why don’t you just say no to this automatic increase?

As a taxpayer, if you are just as disgusted as I am, please let our voices be heard all the way to Capitol Hill, as I am asking each taxpayer out there, shout from the rooftops, this is unfair, and our congressional leaders should just say no.  If you agree, please let me hear your frustrations and let us find ways to get them to listen, we did it on November 4, 2008 and we can do it again!

HELL TO THE NO CONGRESS YOU DO NOT DESERVE A RAISE , however, if you want to help us little people, stop this madness and use that money to help some of the people who have lost their jobs or better still, pay the foreclosure on someone’s house, bail out main street as you did WALL STREET!

Hello Ladies, my name is Drew Peterson and I am a former Bolingbrook Police Sergeant and a suspect in my fourth wife's disappearance as well as a person of interest in my third wife’s death. Now, I am a very good guy who is looking for love as I promise that you would not disappear under any circumstances so my question is will you marry me?

Now, this is not Drew Peterson asking this question but as I watched the news last night and heard that this man was able to convince some woman to accept his proposal I was thinking would I be able to say yes after knowing his history. Well, I must say, hell to the no as I would not even date you in a police station much less any other place in the world as I would be very leery of you Mr. Peterson, but I wonder how many other women would say yes or no, so let me know how you feel. If you are a man, consider for a moment that the love interest of Mr. Peterson is your sister, niece, or a friend, would you want her to date this man?

I cannot imagine any child writing a letter to Santa asking a family member to stop abusing her and her sister, what the hell is going on in our society.   According to Cristina Rendon, a reporter from KRGV a fox affiliate in Texas stated, “Andres Enrique Cantu, 55, was arrested and charged with continuous sexual abuse against the girl who reached out to Santa”.  It is also reported, “NEWSCHANNEL 5 was told that Cantu is employed with the McAllen School District. A spokesperson with McAllen ISD says that Cantu spent 11 years inside a classroom and that he is currently a computer lab aid at Lamar Academy, an alternative high school”.  Now my question to everyone is why a child should have to resort to such tactics to get this family member to stop touching them where they should not be as I am appalled that this man actually worked for the school district.

Bloggers let me know how you feel about this story especially during these times as we just learned yesterday that John Walsh finally received his wish for Adam 27 years later.  Will it take just as long to get these nut jobs our of our society as it is atrocious that anyone would hurt a defenseless child as this is my biggest pet peeve behind abuse of the elderly.  I would like to know what can we as people do to stop this kind of madness or can we do anything at all to rid our society of these kinds of people, as I am interested in your take on this mess?

During these last days of transition, actually thirty five days before our world leadership changes hands, we the people came out in record numbers to speak against the last eight years of turmoil here in the US by electing a new President whose message of hope and change has sparked a new way in America.  Well, in other words one can say that America’s history is changing as no one envisioned that a man of color would be America’s leader and living in a house built by the very slaves he descended, wow, what a great way to began anew. Now, I ask you, as we the people write our own history, what does your story say about you or do you want to be a part of this history at all, let me know as you read my story and what I am hoping says about us as Americans.

As we the people write our own history I pray that my story depicts how America changed its stance on racial issues as well as how diversity plays a big part in harmony among the races.  I hope that our history also portrays how the American people became such a group that is tolerant of all its members whether it be gay, straight, homeless, young, old, or just another migrant from elsewhere as we all deserve the same dreams in life, a world that loves everyone.  I pray that our history illustrate that although many of us have similar trials, tribulations and downfalls that we also have the tendency to ban together as we did on November 4, 2008 during our strenuous election process, as that was one for the record books.  Although it was predicted 40 years ago that a man of color would have the same rights as any other person to serve as President of this great nation, none of us could honestly say we knew it would happen, but now we can say wow, what a great way to began our historic writings.

With all that they do in the White House, should we as citizens pay the First Lady for being the wife of our leader as it has been asked throughout the day and in my opinion I say no, as we voters did not cast ballots for the First Lady. I know that these women have hectic schedules as the wife of the President but what do they really do to earn their keep.  Nevertheless, I am interested in what others seem to think of the pending idea of paying the First Lady for her role in our Governmental Affairs so let me hear your thoughts.

Dr. Manis

Thank you Dr. Manis for submitting such a candid and bold call to the Telegraph, I truly do hope Mr. Richardson will run it.

Here is a commentary responding to these phenomena which I have sent to Charles Richardson at the Macon Telegraph Newspaper. I hope he will see it into print:

When Are WE Going to Get Over It?

For much of the last forty years, ever since America "fixed" its race problem in the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts, we white people have been impatient with African Americans who continued to blame race for their difficulties. Often we have heard whites ask, "When are African Americans finally going to get over it? Now I want to ask "When are we White Americans going to get over our ridiculous obsession with skin color?

Recent reports that "Election Spurs 'Hundreds' of Race Threats, Crimes" should frighten and infuriate every one of us. Having grown up in "Bombingham," Alabama in the 1960s, I remember overhearing an avalanche of comments about what many white classmates and their parents wanted to do to John and Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King. Eventually, as you may recall, in all three cases, someone decided to do more than "talk the talk." Since our recent presidential election, to our eternal shame we are once again hearing the same reprehensible talk I remember from my boyhood.

We white people have controlled political life in the disunited colonies and United States for some 400 years on this continent. Conservative whites have been in power 28 of the last 40 years. Even during the eight Clinton years, conservatives in Congress blocked most of his agenda and pulled him to the right. Yet never in that period did I read any headlines suggesting that anyone was calling for the assassinations of presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan, or either of the Bushes. Criticize them, yes. Call for their impeachment, perhaps. But there were no bounties on their heads. And even when someone did try to kill Ronald Reagan, the perpetrator was non-political mental case who wanted merely to impress Jody Foster.

But elect a liberal who happens to be black and we're back in the sixties again. At this point in our history, we should be proud that we've proven what conservatives are always saying-that in America anything is possible, EVEN electing a black man as president. But instead we now hear that school children from Maine to California are talking about wanting to "assassinate Obama."

Fighting the urge to throw up, I can only ask, "How long?" How long before we white people realize we can't make our nation, much less the whole world, look like us? How long until we white people can-once and for all-get over this hell-conceived preoccupation with skin color? How long until we white people get over the demonic conviction that white skin makes us superior? How long before we white people get over our bitter resentments about being demoted to the status of equality with non-whites? How long before we get over our expectations that we should be at the head of the line merely because of our white skin? How long until we white people end our silence and call out our peers when they share the latest racist jokes in the privacy of our white-only conversations?

I believe in free speech, but how long until we white people start making racist loud mouths as socially uncomfortable as we do flag burners? How long until we white people will stop insisting that blacks exercise personal responsibility, build strong families, educate themselves enough to edit the Harvard Law Review, and work hard enough to become President of the United States, only to threaten to assassinate them when they do? How long before we starting "living out the true meaning" of our creeds, both civil and religious, that all men and women are created equal and that "red and yellow, black and white" all are precious in God's sight?

Until this past November 4, I didn't believe this country would ever elect an African American to the presidency. I still don't believe I'll live long enough to see us white people get over our racism problem. But here's my three-point plan:

First, everyday that Barack Obama lives in the White House that Black Slaves Built I'm going to pray that God (and the Secret Service) will protect him and his family from us white people.

Second, I'm going to report to the FBI any white person I overhear saying, in seriousness or in jest, anything of a threatening nature about President Obama.

Third, I'm going to pray to live long enough to see America surprise the world once again, when white people can "in spirit and in truth" sing of our damnable color prejudice, "We HAVE overcome."

I was quite shocked to see this in print when someone shared the email with me and I truly believe that WE AS PEOPLE could benefit from these words, not just whites, but all of us, so I ask, how many of you out there would agree either with these words or my sentiments, just curious.

Dear Mr. President Elect Obama:

I am very ecstatic to have cast a ballot for you and am looking forward to the change that you promised me and millions of others during the campaign for office. However, right now I am having issues as you stated during the campaign that this will be a bi-partisan administration but I have yet to see a Republican’s name nominated for any of your open positions, when will that happen? My first suggestion to you is to appoint Chuck Hagel, US Senator from Nebraska and Richard Luger, US Senator from Indiana in one of those positions, would you agree? Secondly, it has been known that you met with Senator John McCain, your adversary, as I would love to have been a fly on the wall but understand why you did what you did. Therefore, if you are seeking to appoint John McCain to your administration, I suggest that you keep him away from any Defense positions but rather put him in charge of Veteran’s Affairs, as I think he would perform well in one of those kinds of positions for you, but that is just my thoughts.

Thirdly, it is sad to hear that the US Constitution may prevent Mrs. Hillary Rodman Clinton from accepting your nomination for Secretary of State, in case of this, I suggest that you reconsider putting Bill Richardson in the Commerce Department and put him in that role, but again, that is just my opinion. Fourthly, I would like to suggest appointing Mr. Christopher S “Kit” Bond, US Senator of Missouri as the Secretary of Transportation since he has already served on the appropriations committee for this department. Another Republican Senator whom I think would serve you well in this new administration would be Larry Craig of Idaho as he has been a member of the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, which he chaired during the 109th Congress. He is also a member of the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, where he serves on the Subcommittee on Energy, the Subcommittee on Water and Power, and the Subcommittee on Public Lands and Forests. Thus, these accolades would also serve you well in the bi-partisan administration you are seeking and this is the kind of change you promoted during the campaign.

Sir, I mean no disrespect and I am not trying to tell you what is best for your administration, however, you promised me change and that is what I am seeking, a new way that politics will operate during your administration. I can provide you additional Republicans who might serve your administration well as this would show that the GOP is trying its best to re-vamp their party by working with a Democratic Administration, which would also let us American People know that both parties have our best interest at heart. I am trying to convey that you have nominated enough of the old Clinton Administration already, and I am seeking new blood, new relationships and a bi-partisan administration as I was promised. Now, if you feel as though that I overstepped my bounds as a voter, I deeply apologize but I want what was promised to me, a new way of governing and what better way than to show not just us Americans but the world that we are changing for the better than to nominate some Republicans, just a thought.

Sincerely,

Lilbits

Bloggers, tell me what you think of the choices listed and what position would you offer them. If you do not agree with me, please by all means tell me what Republicans you think should be offered a job as this is our administration as well and we need to ensure fairness and make our Newly Elected President keep his promises.

Houston, we may have a problem with the Secretary of State nomination as it has been reported that Hillary Rodman Clinton may not be able to accept the nomination due to the below article of our great ol US Constitution.  As it may prevent Mrs. Hillary Clinton from becoming the Secretary of State under the Obama Administration, do you think this is fair or do you think this is karma, you decide and let me know.

Article 1 - The Legislative Branch

Section 6 - Compensation

(The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States.) (The preceding words in parentheses were modified by the 27th Amendment.) They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.

I was horror-struck to learn that there was a melee at Anacostia High School where five students were injured with three of them stabbed during a time when police, parents, teachers and city officials held meetings to discuss avenues to curb teen violence.  Well, I guess that did not work out so well as a small fire was set during the evacuation of the schools 1100 students as more fights broke out as well, what is going on, parents, take back your children, and children, take back your education as many have died so that you are afforded the same opportunities as others.

The Washington post staff writers reported yesterday, “the incident comes during a time of rising concern about security and discipline problems at DC schools” and now we all have to sit back watching each of you kill or maim another over a neighborhood beef that none of you have any idea what it is about.  In this article, it stated that, “youth violence and the difficulty of deterring it was a topic of discussion elsewhere in the city yesterday” but one must ask how many parents, children or neighborhood members actually showed.

Now, my first issue is that students are suppose to go to school for an education, not a boxing match, so I am asking, why did the parents not step in a beat some tail as that is what some of these students need. However, “other officials appealed to parents to assert more control over their children’s school behavior” something that illustrates my first issue, what are you parents doing to curtail this sort of action in school.

My second issue is with the police department personnel who were assigned to the school, why did you not prevent these kids from trying to kill each other, as that is your job right.  My third issue is with the children who bring neighborhood beefs into the schoolyard, is this any kind of way to secure your futures.

Well, although I am not a parent, but an aunt of 20 plus school aged nieces and nephews, do as it was done to me, if you cut up in school, you got embarrassed in front of the entire school, thus making you never wanting to do what you did again, it works, as I turned out great and learned a lot.  I am imploring every one of us, whether you are a parent, aunt, uncle, cousin, sister, brother or just a neighbor, please let us take back our children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and such as we are losing them by astronomical numbers and this must stop, this is our futures.

How many of you have children that is in school, how many of you would never tolerate such behavior, how many of you actual get involved with every aspect of your child’s education, does it really matter, yes, it does.  Now, I ask you what are you as a person going to do, should we just sit idly by while our younger generation kills each other or does it take each one to teach one to bring this kind of action to a close.

People, please tell me what is going on, why can’t the parents take back their children, and children, why can’t you all take back your education as it is very important to become a productive member of society, let us stop the foolishness and get this right as we write our own history.  It would be nice to pick up the paper or turn on the television and not see these sorts of stories because I know if we all work together, then the words, YES WE CAN, will ring true again!

City threatens blind woman over unpaid 1-cent bill

Tue Nov 18, 9:19 am ET

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – A 74-year-old blind woman was shocked when her daughter found a letter from the city saying a lien would be placed on her home unless she paid an overdue water bill.

The amount? 1 cent.

Eileen Wilbur told The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro the letter sent her blood pressure soaring, and pointed out that stamps cost 42 cents.

City Collector Debora Marcoccio said the letter was among 2,000 sent out. A computer automatically prints letters for accounts with an overdue balance, and they are not reviewed by staff before being mailed, she said.

The letter warned of a lien and a $48 penalty if the overdue bill is not paid by Dec. 10. The charge was from the previous fiscal year, which ran from July 2007 to July 2008.

"My question is, how come it wasn't paid when the (original) bills went out?" Marcoccio said.

Wilbur's daughter, Rose Brederson, who discovered the bill in her mother's mail, called the situation "ridiculous." But she said her mother, who has lived in the home since 1959, would likely end up paying the penny.

Now it would seem to me that it took them more money to process a one cent bill than but what I cannot understand is why in the hell the State of Massachuetts would threaten to put a lien on the elderly for one cent, please someone help me get this one?

When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive....so, I took her to a gas station..... and that's when the fight started....

I tried to talk my wife into buying a case of Miller Light for $14.95. Instead, she bought a jar of cold cream for $7.95.   I told her the beer would make her look better at night than the cold cream. And that's when the fight started.

After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.  The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'. So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said, That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application.  When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office.  She said, 'You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten disability, too'......And that's when the fight started.....

My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.

My wife asked, 'Do you know her?'

'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend.

I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.'

'My God!' says my wife, 'Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?'

And that's when the fight started....

I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car.

You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny?

Yeah, well I couldn't believe it.... he was a DWARF!!!

He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted,

'I AM NOT HAPPY!!!'   So, I looked down at him and said, 'Well, then which

one are you?' And that's when the fight started.....

I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason, took my order first.

'I'll have the strip steak, medium rare, please.'

He said, 'Aren't you worried about the mad cow?'

'Nah, she can order for herself.' And that's when the fight started.....

It was such a welcoming sight to see that Dunwoody will be the first female four-star general in the US Army as reported by the AP approximately 17 minutes ago and we women will continue to make drastic changes in the workforce, as this will not be the last time. The AP has called this “breaking the brass ceiling” and I must agree as I ask all women as well as men to congratulate the US Army for finally taking this step and pray that more and more qualified women are considered for upper position in our Military as we can, we did, and watch us continue to make changes, wow, finally is all I can say.

Tell me how you feel about women in the military and if you think this is a long time coming, as we all need to recognize that each of us regardless of gender, national origin, creed, or religion have valuable assets to attribute greatly to our country. To view the entire story please follow the below link as it makes for great reading.
