It is so ironic that the same Democrats that argued in 2000 that Florida voters were disenfranchised are now making a case that Florida voters should not have a voice during the Democratic Primary season to determine their Presidential nominee.   It would be interesting to know if Obama supporters, African American or not, would be screaming and demonstrating in the streets if he had clearly won the popular vote in Florida; the answer would be emphatically and unequivocally YES as they would be letting their opinions and voice be heard with Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright leading the way!!  And then you have Superdelegates, who at this time appear unwilling to make their voices heard as the entire Democratic Party has become intimidated by the African American electorate and any consequences associated with supporting Hillary Clinton for President!!  Without question, this primary season has created  a disunity among the American electorate unlike any time since the days of Civil Rights legislation in the 1960's.  Contrary to popular belief among the African American community, Obama appears to be oblivious of the disunity as he marches across the United States making claims that he is a uniter and not a divider!!  The question is, does the African American community not remember calling President Clinton their President, a president that brought more people out of poverty and into the middle class than any one since FDR?  Or could it be that "skin color" has blinded the minds of even the most intelligent and influenced their voting decisions in spite of resume qualifications for the highest office in the land?  Needless to say, Democrats, Independents, and Republicans have to answer many questions during the upcoming days leading to the conventions and general election in November, questions that will impact us, our children, grandchildren, and generations to come.  Consequently, I encourage every voter to listen beyond the exterior veneer of racial color and empty rhetoric, and count the costs for "hiring" an unqualified candidate to walk into the Oval Office and assume the role of Commander-In-Chief.,

The Obama supporters are in a feeding frenzy. They could care less what he has or has not done.

Cool's right, guess it's his white blood that's the mistake maker !

I can't understand why the black people are voting for Obama anyway - when they owe their freedom to a Republican ?????

There is no doubt that all the ground gained since the mid-'60's in terms of Civil Rights has been challenged during the last few months, with some even questioning the validity of real progress as defined by the history books that our children are reading in the classrooms of today. This presidential RACE should not be about RACE, but perhaps the ignorance of many voters has confused the fundamental meanings of the two words and continue to walk to the polls and clearly voice their opinions based on phrases such as "he's one of us, or "our time has finally come" (i.e. a Barack Obama quote on the evening of the Iowa caucuses). Consequently we must acknowledge that there is a new party called the African American Party!!! My question is, whose time has finally come, the African American Party or the Democratic Party? And yes, this new third party has not invited Hillary to be a member, nor would she want to be based on the outrageous acts/deeds committed or spoken by those Barack Obama associates with. Interesting questions needless to say!! We NEED Hillary to break Democratic Party ranks, and run as an INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE, thus, giving the American electorate a true alternative to the African American Party whose message is RACE or the Republican Party whose committed to WAR; just a viable suggestion that needs to be considered by the Hillary campaign!! After all, when Ronald Reagan was asked why he was no longer a member of the Democratic Party his response was "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me." Is this what has happened to Hillary R

Could you imagine a 3rd party comprised of Hillary and Ron Paul? Wow, it could do a LOT of damage!

Yes, indeed!! Damage to both the radical left & right, as those who appear to be the presumptive nominees of our current party system wouldn't recognize moderation or political balance if it hit them on the head; however, the Democratic Party will once again give away the White House by leaning too far to the left and nominating a candidate whose qualifications are nothing more than a 1-2 page resume. And what's even scarier is the remote idea or probability that BO could win the White House!!!!

Lets just hope whoever get in will not make the same mistakes as some of the previous people. We just need a strong leader who will listen and not make hasty decisions before all the information given to him/her has been verified. LORD HELP US ALL!!

You nailed it, Phil. Only instead of God bless America, we should be saying, America bless God.

Without question, the American electorate appears to have a DSM-IV diagnoses of Bipolar Disorder, as we've been through eight long years of depression associated with the failed policies of George W. Bush, and now we're in our manic mode choosing the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate that's promising us peace, prosperity, and anything that will appeal to our need for answers; an all or nothing mentality that will lead this country to deeper depths of depression and long-term consequences. America is definitely having a manic episode, but one thing is for sure, the pendulum will swing once again with the electorate crying out in depression as a result of an unqualified candidate being nominated/elected to the highest office in the land, President of the United States. Another question for consideration is if the electorate has these kinds of psychological debilitating issues, then what diagnoses plagues the media, a media which has nominated and elected BO all on their own!?

Lil Sis,

I will be the first to tell you the diagnosis of the media. If the American Electorate has a clinical diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder, then the Amercian Media has a clinical diagnosis of Turrets Syndrome. They blurt out whatever nonsense arbitrarily. The Media both Republican & Left Wing Democrats definitely want Barack as the candidate. How foolish and ignorant is it to hire someone you know nothing about. Since when did "No Track Record" supercede "A known Track Record with History"?
Qualifications for the President of the United States should read as follows:
"Looking for an Individual who possesses the following qualities:
1) Must be a confident liar
2) Must not know the meaning of truth
3) Must not be able to speak full sentences
4) Must not have any communication skills
5) Must use religion as a platform to get what you want.
6) Must be an oil tycoon
7) Understand how to effectively send this country into debt.
8) You must allow China buy our debt.
9) You must allow other countries to use lead in toys & pharmaceutical pills.
10) You must be able to effectively start meaningless wars and offer to rebuild their country.
If you possess these qualities then you are our Candidate. We dont need no stinking election process. Just find a Judge to make it happen.
Sincerely,
The United States Government

what is actually needed is a national referendum to put term limits on congressional politicians , it would change the whole DC atmosphere , very quickly
