I am confused. I thought Tony Romo was supposed to be the Shining Light,,, Savior,,,End-All for the Cowboys to get to the SuperBowl. Didn't he just get a $67 million dollar contract? I never have liked Jerry Jones,, and love to see him made a fool of. I watched the game and only saw Romo show up one time.... when he ran with the ball.
Maybe Romo can get his focus back and they can go all the way next year. They do need to work on a few problems in a few areas and come back more centered and serious next year.
Congratulations for going 13-3.
Congratulations to the NY Giants. What a great win. Good luck in the next playoff.

Is it ever ok to attack the character of someone whether you know them personally or not??Character asassination, based on a persons' beliefs and personal opinions and life choices is not the American way. The American Constitution guarantees us certain rights. It does not give us the right to attack the character of anyone who does not agree with our choices.
There is the matter of respect. You should always respect the choices others make for themselves.

I had decided not to vote in this election, for many reasons. I am a woman, therefore, entitled to change my mind.
I am going to vote. But, I will not be influenced by any Polls, Caucuses, etc. I will decide who the best person is based on what I can learn about all of them.
No, I will not vote for anyone who is a member of a cult-like religion that does not abide by traditional family values.
No, I refuse to vote for anyone whose parentage is not AMERICAN, and whose Race I have doubts and questions about, and who brags about living in other countries and the advantages of learning about other cultures. What is wrong with our culture??
Some of the ones running have been proven not of good character in the past.
Several have served in the top administration, or in the Senate. Wow,,,, that is not always a good thing.
The others I am weighing in on. I do know enough about Hillary and her vast experience and intelligence, that if the election were held today she would get my vote in a heartbeat. In fact,,, I doubt that will change in the end.

2007 started with a snap, crackle, pop for me. I had been to my favorite bar on 6th St. in Austin with my best friends. At the end of the party, I walked out to the front Patio to wait for my ride home. Unknown to me, one of the door guys had dumped Ice from the Coolers onto the Patio to be swept into the street. You guessed it,,, I slipped in the Ice, ended up on my tush, with a twisted and broken in 7 places ankle. Spent New Years Day having Surgery to repair my ankle. Then spent 2 weeks in a cast, 3 mos. unable to use that ankle or put it on floor. Used a Scooter to get around in my apt. Then was able after 3 mos. to walk with walker & cane, then with a cane only. Well, it has been 1 year now. I have a lot of hardware in my ankle, but the bones are healed. I still walk with a cane,, for safety. The Dr. says I may be ready for release soon so I can settle with the Bar Ins. Co.
This was the most traumatic event in my life, changing everything for me. I was not able to return to work, so had to take early retirement. My family talked me into moving back to Ft. Worth to be closer to them. I guess it has been good for us for the most part. There are issues to work out (daughter thinks she has to tell her 65 yr. old mom how to pronounce words, how to think, what to or not to say or do).
I still return to Austin to see my wonderful friends as often as I can.
Isn't it funny how just one mis-step can alter your life forever?
This New Years Eve, I am staying home alone & watch TV. Tomorrow, I am having a New Years Day Buffet Lunch for my family & a neighbor. I am cooking Black-Eye Peas w/Pork Jowel, Cornbread, London Broil Steak, Pork Roast, Corn Cassarole, Potatoes, Salad, and Sopapilla Cheesecake.
Had no Black-eye Peas last year, & look what bad luck I had LOL>
Wishing all of you a Blessed 2008, with hopes for all good things to come your way. May Joy, Love, Prosperity, Health, and all the happiness in the world bless you and yours in the New Year.

I am back home in Cowtown again. This city has sure changed since I moved away. I am getting re-acquainted with my old home slowly. I love going down to Sundance Square and Stockyards area,.. the museums,,, and will look forward to the Rodeo/Stock Show.
I do want to find a male companion to spend time with and share the future. That would make coming home good.
I may not be voting this time as I am soooo disenchanted with our Government which was intended to be for the good of all citizens. Ha!!! I am wondering when "illegal" became "legal"??
