The FOX 4 news anchors and weathermen tell you to join and participate in the live chatroom about the weather, and then when we did, and people asked what was happening in their area, the admin. said "the next person to say something who is not a professional storm spotter will be banned!" WHAT??? People were legitimately frightened. Now I understand that frantic, numerous posts clog up the chatroom, and then the spotters cannot give us timely info, but really. I think the admin. was way too harsh, being as many people's emotions ran high, lots of women with small children who's power may have gone out with no access to TV, husbands out of town, we want to know what's going on!
The chat is for everyone. Anyway, it's a lousy chat, crawls at about a snail's pace anyway. Get it fixed and you won't have it get jammed up.
Shame on the admin. for berating people that had reason to panic. Our sirens went off in Bedford and nothing was happening! Naturally, I come onto the live chat and ask what's going on in the mid cities as nothing was going on at the moment, and what do I get? Yelled at like a kid in school to take a chill pill, relax, this is Texas, etc.
Anyone know what's up with the live chat discussion? I click on "weather" and there is nothing to report, no chat option. Did the site go down?
