Decided to take a day off and headed to the golf course. Talk about a perfect day for it! Couldn't get any better than today's conditions.

I've taken two lessons so far (with two more to go) and found myself improving from the tee - my drives now average 200+ yards and relatively accurate fairway placement - yet my subsequent club selection for the second shot seems to add strokes. Not to mention my typical 3-putt on the green. My wedge shooting is exponentially better than when I started.

So, I need to work on my second shot, with woods and irons. But three-putting is killing me. Back to the driving range...

My question has nothing to do with golf:

When you take a day off to relieve stress at work, what do you do?

A "DAY OFF" (for me, whether it be a weekend, holiday, personal day, etc) generally means I can sleep in as late as I want to! THAT'S MY therapy!

Hell, weekdays I am usually in bed by at least 11:00 pm and get up in the mornings around 6:20 AM. Weekends, I stay up til midnight or 1:00 am and MIGHT get up by 10:30. If not, I get up close to noon.

As many will attest to, I NEED my beauty rest!!

:D

LOL! Sleep is one of my favorite "activities"...I do as much as I can when at work. :)

Especially during the meetings! I never found a business practice more worthless!

My work won't allow me to sleep. Dammit.

But sleeping keeps me from spending money!!!

And sometimes I sit around and watch blogs. Right now I am waiting for sal to come and comment on "extra strokes". KIDDING SAL, F F S.

Perhaps I should have slept instead of paying $40 to determine I still suck at golf. However, I look at it on a per-stroke cost benefit: I payed 40 cents every time I hit the ball!

If I had made par, the cost would have been 56 cents per hit ball...

Got my money's worth!

Good way to look at it. I don't pay anything to hit (or kick or punch) balls.

-just saying'

Bwhahahhahahahahah

Looks like someone is jealous!

(Pssst, you are NOT invited to the Luxury resort that marks, his wife, my BF and I will be golfing at. I suggest you stay at home, eat waffles, and play with your "hole" with one! (finger))

I'm not jealous , I have some warm syrup ready to spread

I think your "spread" should be "jammed" up your BLEEP.

You do nothing for me other than bore me. I think I'll put you're syrup on the back burner. :)

Marks, I have a tee time tomorrow afternoon.

My drive is not as good as yours but I am getting better. I have only been golfing for 14 months. I am going to a chipping and putting clinic next week. My chipping stinks. Putting is a little better.

I have already checked out the weather for the weekend and up to next Thursday. I usually play on Monday morning, Thursday and Saturday afternoons.

If I see you on the links, I'll give you a wave. LOL
